Elena's hair and eyes flared brightly as her surprise loosened the restraints she'd learned to keep upon those particular attributes. Clamping said restraints back down, the Tale dimmed the glow of her hair, leaving only one constellation glowing brightly; today, it was Leo, something that had made Rasalus practically purr. "Sorry," Elena grumbled, not sounding particularly sorry at all, her own gaze still on her feet. Resolutely not looking up, for the girl was in no mood to deal with the undoubtedly angry expressions on the other's face, Elena was too distracted to really recognize Vidya's voice. "Didn't mean to. Should watch where I'm going," she continued, still in that same short, tightly controlled voice.

Damn these stupid dreams and damn insomnia and most of all, damn himself for being stubborn enough to spend his day pick-pocketing the poor saps of Durem instead of at home in bed grasping at what little sleep he could. His concentration was shot and it had proved to be his downfall--he hadn't botched a snatch this badly since he was just starting out--and now he was paying for it with energy he couldn't afford to spare but had to anyway. Had to, if he didn't want to get caught and pounded, or de-feathered, or worse. He didn't want to imagine worse. So he was running, because his mark was also winged and he didn't want to test his luck in open air.

Tybalt's fleeing took him towards Bass'ken Lake; his mark was also much larger than he and would likely have more difficulty navigating the woods around it than he would. And difficult it was, if the tears in his clothes and scratches on his face were any indication. The woods thinned out close to the lake, and he exploded out of the trees with a breathless grunt and a few flying feathers as errant branches sought to prevent his escape. He stumbled to a halt just out of reach of the furthest patches of shade, thin frame trembling, wings nearly dragging on the ground. What the hell was he going to do now? He couldn't go back to Durem anytime soon, that was for sure, although he hadn't heard any pursuit-type noises in quite awhile. He could go home, but paranoia warned him not to, just in case. He could rest here awhile, catch his breath before going on another mad dash away from those who meant him harm. His hand descended briefly into his pocket--was such a little bracelet really worth all this fuss? With a sigh, he made his way towards the lake.

Angelus smiled and walked deeper into the shop, mainly where most of the couches were situated. Plopping down onto a chair that was close to the giraffe, his eyes ran across the stationary store. How long had it been since he'd come here? Unfortunately, he couldn't remember.

He chuckled at Sylvester's response. "I don't think I've been here since I grew up as well. Weird, huh?" he commented to his friend. His body molded into the seat, to get a little comfortable. He threw his leg over the arm of the chair and relaxed.

"Me? Well, actually, nothing too exciting. Jiro and I get along a lot better. He's more of a brother now than anything. Surprise, surprise." He chuckled. " But other than that, I've just been at home training and practicing. I'm starting to get hang of playing a guitar. Jiro doesn't like it much." he smirked.

As Angelus waited for a response from the boy, the bell rang to signal another person entering the shop. As his brown eyes turned to see if it was an adult, he was surprised to find that it wasn't. A half girl, half horse entered the shy. She seemed shy and unsure of her surroundings. He wondered if Sylvester knew the girl. Who knew. His wings ruffled in curiosity.

Raising a hand in the air, he waved towards the centaur child. Hi! Are you looking for someone? he asked.

Jiro? Sylvester hadn't really known that the two lived in the same house. They seemed very different, but that was certainly all right since Sylvester himself wasn't like the two of them either. "Did Jiro grow too?"

Sylvester leaned back in his seat, following Angelus' lead, only to sit up straight again when the door edged open. Speaking of different Tales, this little person was half horse! Wow. He stopped himself from looking around for Aslan and some talking animals. Besides himself. Wait a minute... He smiled. "Hey," he said, not much more articulate than Alala had been. She was just the most interesting thing he had seen all day.

Tybalt looked up at the call of a familiar title by an equally familiar voice and immediately wished he hadn't. Signs of recognition made it harder to ignore someone, and fond as he was of his first mate and best friend, he wasn't, at the moment, really up to dealing with her constant overexuberance. However, he knew that if he ignored her and walked off, he'd be subjected to endless puppy-dog faces and other tactics girls employed to make boys feel bad; truly, dealing with Vidya now was the lesser of two evils. With a sigh, he made his way towards the girls--and, he noted with mild disgust, Lance--a twitch of his drooping wings letting him know that he wouldn't be flying anywhere.

"Coward," he snarled halfheartedly at the scaled Tale, although he was secretly glad for it; although he was confident that he could take Lance anywhere, anytime, he was much too tired to prove it at the moment. "Ladies. And...other thing," he said in a more amiable tone as he settled to a halt near Vidya's side. The "other thing" was rather interesting and he took a moment to study it before moving his attention towards the stranger...this very, very shiny stranger. His interest was piqued in a way only shinies could pique it, and avarice warred with exhaustion as he gave Elena more than a casual once-over.

"Looking?" -She seemed to think over the question for about.. oh half a millisecond, before shaking her head. And then changing her mind.- "Well, I was kind of looking for the woman.."

"But you guys will do!" -Clodding forward, taking pleasure in the distinct clopping of her hooves (something she wasn't used to in the carpeted home she lived in), she settled herself rather near the two, looking up at the older children as if to inspect them, before finally she smiled again.- "I'm Alala."
