oh I am so excited. just can't wait.
I love all the starters
until they release their evolutions I don't know which to pick yet.

Fire all the way for me.

haha yeah just about everyone tells me their going to just stick to a certain type. me I want to get the one starter that looks appealing to me.

And for me that would be fire. It's always looked the coolest. Still has yet to disappoint me. -w-

haha yeah I have to agree most of the fire types are designed nicely.
I am leaning towards froakie. it just looks so unique.

Reminds me of the Poli's. Wag through wrath/toad.

I heard people compare it to the other frog like pokemon.
but I think that froakie's design is very different from the others so it doesn't really feel like froakie is well a knock off of those pokemon.

I am conflicted....

On one hand that would mean I need yet another handheld, which is money I don't really have to spend, and I can't say I'm all that interested with the new starters...or Xerneas

On the other hand, I do like Yveltal and Sylveon.

Sylveon looks like it's gonna be a pure normal type.

I'm thinking it's a flying, but that's a possibility.

Yeah, I've kinda been on the edge about that one. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Flying would make sense, cus I here sylveon, I think slyph, the wind spirit.

You know, that never actually crossed my mind with this one. When I told my brother about it, he initially though Sylvion....Silver...Steel type! Then I showed him a picture and he was completely surprised.

Think they'd just call that one Steeleon.

Nah, I'm pretty sure they'd have something a little less obvious, like Titaneon.

Yeah I really like them too, the annoying thing is I now need to wait for Tomy to do more figures because my set is incomplete! sweatdrop

I haven't seen any figures of them in forever. We have some of them floating around the house somewhere, though (aside from Jolteon) all the eeveelutions I have, their tails came off. (Don't have Espeon or Umbreon either...though they became really hard to find around here when they came out)

I had a little spare money from my student loan... xd
went to Amazon and looked for figures... I am terrible at being a 'grown up' rofl

I wish I could relate....I mean, my money is literally free money...nothing to spend it on..and yet I am one of the biggest penny pinchers.

I suppose, but that's not entirely as lazy as Steeleon...otherwise they'd be Grasseon and Iceon.

For Sylveon, I really wanna say Normal, Bug, or Flying type, because I saw it using Trump Card, and since Eevee can learn it, it would make sense if it retained the ability to learn all the Eevee only skills after evolving, or it may only be able to use it through learning from Eevee. It may be a flying type because of the flowing nature of it, and Bug type, because the eyes and butterfly bows. Leaning most towards Normal, because I think all the moves it used in the reveal were normal type.

Hey all smile

I know I haven't been active (at all sweatdrop ) but the name of this caught my attention so I figured I'd help you all out.

I'm a Nintendo3DS owner and bought the system the day out. Since I like to have handheld systems for when I go anywhere, just in case I get bored (hehe, drives my aunt nuts) I have it on my all the time.

I do know what price the 3DS price is at anymore, since I haven't had to purchase a new one but I do know that you won't be disappointed having the system. I've never had any system issues with it, other then the occasional need to update it, which comes with any system. I can say that unlike the PS3 (if you have that) instead of upgrading its system every time you pop in a new game, it upgrades, I believe, every couple of months. It's been so long since the last one that I can't remember when.

The 3D style is purely for your benefit. There's a slide on the bottom that you can have either all the way on, all the way off or anywhere in the middle. I like to keep mine off, since it bugs my eyes with it on. But I do occasionally turn it on, in fact I turned it on for the X and Y game trailer and it looked absolutly gorgeous smile There are no issues sliding the 3D option on or off and the slide is smooth and easy to use.

The system also comes with a few options, like the Nintendo eShop, which is a free feature. It's very fun to use and I go on it all the time. All you need is a wi-fi connection, which your 3DS can use just fine. It's wi-fi range is much shorter and a bit weaker then a laptop, but you aren't going to have a perfect connection range on such a small system anyway. The Nintendo eShop is beautiful and easy to use, it has things very nicely organized for easy use and even comes with an updated video every month that you can watch, you can think of it as a very small, very short (3-10 minute) game magazine in a video format instead.

The graphics, as I said, are amazing. The one time I had both plugged ears, I could still hear the system perfectly so the sound is no problem. There's a few free things you can download, like the nintendo video, which updates with very short 3-10 minute videos which are funny to watch. For an example, go to youtube and check out Dinosaur Office. I love that one and I laugh every episode smile (the way they talk cracks me up)

Anyway, as a general system I give it an A+. You have tons of memory storage, you can download games and keep it right on the 3DS system via the e-shop and you get demo's of some of the new games coming out smile Which is awesome. So if you want the system, I highly recommend it smile I love my 3DS and was actually thinking of purchasing another one just so that I can trade pokemon between my games smile

Hi there nice to see you active. It sounds like a good system then. My only problem is that it is expensive.

Thank you smile
I made a few stupid typos lol but who doesn't?
They're an excellent system, but price will always be a factor. I shudder to think what the price is going to be on the PS4 when it comes out. =(

Good grief, I hope not!
That would be one expensive system! rofl
I'm sure you all have, but have you watched the trailer for the game? The way the pokemon appear is so much better than what it used to be and finally, finally The Rock has come BACK to Pokemon you can see grass and stuff! smile Looooove it! Now if only they could follow behind you like they did in the one pokemon game and say their name properly rather than growl.

Yeah, and they don't look like they can be called sprites anymore, they would be 3D models now. Although, I doubt they'll actually have them say their name, think we're still stuck with growls, but hopefully they'll be more like Pokemon Stadium growls so they aren't as ear wrenching.

I believe it would have been a lot better if they had done this kind of thing in the first place, then again I'm not a code-writer and have no idea how deeply involved it would be. That and you have to think of the kind of power the system has, though if they needed a better system model, it isn't like they haven't sent the pokemon games to other consoles other then handhelds. A pokemon game on the xbox360 would have been amazing, or even the PS3! The graphics could be totally updated and smooth to look like a regular game instead of pixellated and the pokemon could be a lot more life-like if not so... Cartoonish looking.

But then if your target is the younger generations instead of hardcore original fans, I suppose they probably don't care that it looks like a cartoon.

I don't think Pokemon would ever end up on any Playstation or Xbox because it's owned by Nintendo, same as Mario, Kirby, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, etc.
