Manga mumbled her thanks, but didn't move from the chair. Her hand fell away from her face as she lost consciousness there, her mask hiding her closed eyes. Dreams and memories seized control of her sleeping mind as her body got its desperately desired rest.

Aila went over to check on their guest, and smiled, shaking her head. "Go ahead. I got her." She said as she crouched down, looping her arms around the woman's shoulders and legs. For a shorter and leaner being, Aila was strong from working on the farm from childhood. She lifted the female and set her softly on the couch, covering her up with a woolen blanket, before turning and going out the door.
Sebastian nodded and let the farm owner do her business before he turned to the big pot of water he had brought in earlier, and started it over the fireplace to boil. Later, he would add some diced potatoes and some dried meat to make a stew of it.

Manga stayed soundly asleep until the smell of smoke reached her nose. Her face contorted as her dream darkened into a nightmare. All at once, she sat up, gasping for air. Sweat rolled down her face as she tried to calm herself. Once she had regained her composure, she got to her feet. The smoky scent wasn't thick enough to be a fire; it was probably from Sebastian cooking. Even so, she couldn't work up the courage to attempt sleeping again. How long had she been asleep, anyway?

Sebastian looked over at the woman who had startled away. "You okay?" He asked calmly, his red hair falling into his eyes as he leaned over the fireplace.

"... I'm fine. It was just a bad dream." Manga seemed a little distracted as she replied and walked across the room. "Just... a bad dream..." And yet, it wasn't. It was a dark reminder of a past that she'd locked away where no one would see it.

Sebastian shrugged and grabbed a bowl from the wall. "Hungry?" He asked as he scooped her up some of the hot stew and set the bowel in front of her on the table. "Eat." He said, obviously not giving her a choice whether she could eat or not as he set a roll of bread beside her.

Manga didn't object. She did however, delay on eating for a moment, as Tkal had sat up in almost the exact same fashion she had. She quickly spun on her heel and gripped his shoulder. "It's alright." "But they--" "You're safe, Tkal. Everything's fine." Once he calmed, she spoke again. "Do you feel well enough to eat?" "Not really... gonna sleep some more, I think..." Tkal laid down again, and the artist continued toward the table and sat down. "Thank you." She ate slowly but surely, not wanting to put strain on her fatigued body--or let Sebastian know how hungry she was.

Sebastian watched the male cautiously and with interest before turning to his own bowl of stew, and chewing carefully before swallowing. "There's plenty more." he said, figuring that she was probably hungry from her thinned frame,

Manga nodded, draining her bowl before filling it up again. Was her hunger obvious, despite her mannerisms? She knew she should've stopped to rest and eat before finishing the trip...

Sebastian finished his bowl and set it out to be washed later when Aila washed hers. He sat back, grabbing his carving knife and a white piece of wood and began carving into it as the guests slept or ate.

Manga watched Sebastian quietly as she ate, thinking to herself. "... You carve?"

Sebastian threw Manga a half smile as he continued to carve. "I do a great many things." He said with a chuckle as he envisioned what the piece of wood would become.

She took another bite before replying, "So does Tkal. Slightly different set of skills, though; he can't cook for his life." Sticking her spoon back into her bowl, she was surprised when what she got was not stew but a quiet clink! telling her that she needed to get more. Feeling a bit embarrassed despite not showing it, she filled her bowl again. "Tkal always carves when he's talking or when he's nervous."

Sebastian nodded. "It is very calming." He said softly, setting the carving down and looking at Manga. "Help yourself, and don't be ashamed. I made plenty, and can always make more." he smiled kindly at her. "I cook, clean, carve, hunt, sew, craft, and can fix just about anything you put in front of me." He shrugged.

Manga felt the heat rise to her face anyway when he commented, though she quickly forced it back down. "Craft? That's a rather vague term. Craft what?"
