Soibhan stared at Rajani with a stoic face, but inside, she whooped with excitement. The Masque would be a remarkable chance for reconassaince. She nodded to the gypsy in thanks and turned to Macaire.
"Aye, that it will, regardless of what happens. I'm hopin' it'll be excitin' if nothin' else. I can't stand stiff formality fer long." Her grin was a bit wolfish. "I do 'ave one question fer ya, Macaire. If the Queen is reinstatin' the Warden Grounds at Oldcastle, should we train there? Or here? Or even both, fer that matter."
((We need another RP set after the Masque, so Soibhan can be all giddy about having a splinter cell/secret organization army))

"Both, I'd say, if you're wanting to keep your troops a bit more under wraps," Rajani suggested. Great. Now she was starting to think like that bloody noble. Secrets in secrets. Hidden in plain sight.
"Though it's bold to be training in the middle of the capitol if secrecy is what you're after." Of course, chances were that the Queen might be wanting to personally oversee her new pet project. Perhaps she would not be here, after all. Then again, it was not the Queen that worried her. She was far more concerned with what the spymaster or his agents might find and report. That was the dangerous part.

"Oi cannae say," Macaire admits to Siobhan's question, with something of an embarrassed shrug. He glances off to one side, notices that Cadence is happily chewing down on the cheese, and mutters a curse. Thwocking his Guardian rather abruptly on the nose, he tries to salvage some of it, doing his best to keep a scowl off his face as he does so. "Tell ye true, oi'm ainly a field soljer what's studied tactics, not politics. Oi'll stand behind ye, and train ye and who'iver ye set me to, but fer being sneaky, 'tis yer noggins that will suit best, right? A gyp lass and a lass what led a Scott's clan have had tae be mair then passin' clever, tae get so far."
A pause, and then: "Let go, ye great big oaf! That were fer the lasses, nae for ye! Ye've ate!" This last of course is for Cadence, who has tried now to reach the bread; he is fully aware that if he just slobbers on it, Macaire will mysteriously lose interest.

Soibhan puffed out her chest and opened her mouth to respond, but when she saw Cadence licking the bread, she couldn't help but burst out laughing. He made it so easy to see that the Guardians weren't just weapons of war. They were living, breathing beings, each with a personality all their own. Every one of them should be treated as an individual, not just a team. She wondered if the Queen would see them the same way.
"Hidin' in plain sight can sometimes work wonders. I think we should try it."
She stared around the courtyard, and at the Swan. There was a lot of potential to make this a proper training ground, and a lot of the work had already been done by the proprietor. "But let's go ta the Masque and make our plans from there."

"Well enough," the gypsy agreed. There was little more they could do now, at any rate. It would be better to wait until they had gauged the other Chosen and Guardians before they made any other major decisions.
Oberon, for his part, was not overly concerned with the whole thing. He figured it would all work out in the end. Sure, there would be problems in the middle, but he had confidence in his Chosen. They would get through them. Then, they would defeat the wolves. Of that he had no doubt.
