The young woman would remain silent for a moment, but when she did it would be with a rather unexpected reply "Three...two...one..." At the instant of her last word the door would abruptly slam behind Victoria, the motion causing a single candle stick, the only without a single lit candle, to fall. As if an instrument of fate the candle stick would catch on Victoria's coat, pulling at the knot. Once it had fallen the not would loosen further on it's own, causing the child's coat to slid free under it's own weight and hit the floor.
When the young child's vision became uninhibited by the cloth, she would find less then two feet from her face the smiling visage of a Misdreavus. ">Hello<" The only words she would say, and perhaps the only words she needed.
Then the world seemed to distort, the flames of the candles turning blue as various objects lifted into the air seemingly of their own accord. Liquid began to dribble down the walls from the ceiling...thankfully it was only water.
Victoria had felt the pull ...the fear had curled in her belly as her hands shot up just as the fabric fell away from her face. She would cover her eyes quickly, and tried her best not to tremble too much ...as Eve feeling the fear would give a terrifying chirp as her feathers bristle.
The soft hi was never heard ....as she declares sharply.
"I don't like ghost types ...keep your pokemon away from me."
Eve would float on the wind lightly. Her tail feathers was spread widely.
(no worries mommy, I will get rid of it for you)
She declares sharply to her as she surge forward as the darkness radiated off of her feathers. She would dive forward at the ghost as she came at her with Pursuit. There was no doubt at all, that she was going to make this a very interesting battle.
As before the woman would remain silent for a time, perched quietly on the bed before uttering "I foresee that you will leave this krow cold. Icy Wind...Predicition. Mizuki Kamikiri" She stated, her voice somewhat detached.
">Yes oh holy maiden<" The Misdreavus entoned before giggling girlishly ">Oh this is going to be fun!<" The Ghost-Type shivered with glee...or perhaps something else. Rather abruptly the necklace round the Misdreavus's 'neck', as well as her eyes and the tips of her hair would radiate a cold icy blue as she filled the room with cold. The stale air would begin to stir into a gale, blowing out the candles and blasting all that bone chilling cold in the direction of Eve. Only after the attacks subsided would the candles mysteriously relight themselves.
Eve would scream out ...as she was blown away and back into her trainer. The girl would be hit hard by the Murkrow as she put on her rear end with Eve in her lap trembling.
(So cooold ...mama ...too cold)
Her entire body was trembling as she bury into her chest, and the girl would keep her eyes close as she gave a grimace at what had happen. She didn't want to risk a death this soon in, and definitely not a pokemon so young.
"Darn it, Eve ...return."
She would call her back instantly.
The girl afterall knew of no real rules for this battle, and could only hope she wasn't doing the wrong thing. She would then call out a much more vicious battler as Animus would appear on the field. The pokemon's head would be down as he points a horn at the ghost type.
(you got yourself back into trouble again?)
He had no memory of his own defeat in the world of dreams. He would instead ready himself to take the blunt of this attack as he stood up for them both at that moment.
"Tormented by sound, one loses their will to fight...Predicition. Mizuki Kamikiri" The miko stated, bringing her hands together as if in prayer, but there was no pleading in the gesture, only certainty.
">Grrr...teehehehe<" The Misdeavus let out a 'growl'. Not exactly an intimidating gesture, but to the right foe certainly a disheartening one. How could you fight seriously against someone who refused to do so herself?
Animus would ignore the growl as he jumped forward. He would lower his horn as he aims it for the chest of his opponent ....a simple peck with his horn. A hit that would send his opponent rolling head over ...well .....ghost ...if Animus managed to make the hit.
Though he had thought about using Sludge Bomb, for the moment, he decided a much more direct push back was necessary.
He did not like to be underestimated as he roared at his opponent.
(I am not a babe that needs directing ....I will show you my strength)

The only problem with the Nidorino's plan was that his opponent really didn't have a chest to speak of. Flattening her lower section like a sheet, the Misdreavus would use the smallest gust of wind to blow it up like a sundress over a fan. Once again giggling girlishly...a sound which was starting to become rather creepy.
He would miss completely as he lands on his stomach. He would turn quickly on his own rear end as he lower his horns ....and paw the earth. How could he miss so easily ...his opponent was right there. He had the right angle, the perfect attack, and he had missed.
He was pissed, but Animus couldn't do a thing about it ....Victoria heard the thump.
"What happen?"
(I missed)
He would sneer at her.
(You are a lot of help ...how about you take a peek)
There was a glare on his face that wasn't anything nice. He didn't like to miss, and a chance at making himself feel better was slowly presenting himself.
"Did she call out a ghost type?"
(Nope, a dark type.)
The girl would nod as she thought about taking a peek.

The Misdreavus would giggle at the interaction between the two ">And here I thought ghosts were the liars! Hehehe<" True Posion-type's were known as one of the more underhanded kinds of Pokemon, but the matter still stood and succeeded in amusing her. Meanwhile, and surprisingly without order, the Misdreavus would loose a psychic ripple of energy. Psywave, an attack which could easily penetrate any defense.
That would stop Victoria momentarily as she kept her eyes close a bit longer.
"Animus."
The pokemon would only grunt in pain as his answer.
It was a huge kick in the teeth as the Nidorino would be hit by the waves despite his own moves. He would grit his teeth as the pain sunk in, and he would growl dangerously at the entire situation. He really had no damn luck ....even with his iron wall defense that attack had gone through it like swish cheese.
He wasn't happy at all ...not at all ...as the thought of asking for help hit him, but not before he did this.
He would lower his body towards the ground as he then rose up on two legs ...as he spew something thick and black from his maw.
It was time to show off what a poison type could do as he used ...Sludge Bomb against his opponent.
(-1 to defensives rolls) The move would hit against the pokemon as Animus would sneer. That meant that his battle was going to be a much more timed affair ...as he spread out his legs and prepared himself for the next attack. He knew that his trainer would have to make a choice soon about taking him out of this battle or not, and he wasn't happy about it at all.
But, he had ...managed to give them a good point of attack ....as he smirks at the pokemon. He thought about giving it his all, the worst that can happen is that he is knocked out as he thought about his current strength. Especially considering he would be hit ...no matter what happen ...as he lower his horn a bit and charged forward.
His legs would kick off as his ears went flatten against his skull ....as he smiles happily. He never been afraid to show off his strength before, and this time was going to be no different ...as he used peck.

"The anger of the spirits rises...Prediction. Mizuki Kamikiri" The woman upon the bed would state, her eyes remaining completely shut. In response a malicious aura would suddenly flare up around the normally jolly Misdreavus, her 'hair' flailing around as if with a mind of it's own. Yellow and red eyes would settle on Animus, delivering a glare which normally could make blood run cold. It was a move which severely effected one's ability to keep fighting, a pressure which constantly pressed against heart and mind. Animus was feeling the full fury of this Pokemon's Spite!
(20 - 16 + 16 - 12 = 8dmg - Actually, because of the lack of use of Pp with moves ..Spite actually acts like disable)
Animus would shake if off all at once as he pointed his horn at his opponent. A smile was on his face, the counter attack had worked, and considering his trainer still was in no mood to look ...he saw no reason not to continue as he leap at her again with his horn pointed straight at him.
Another sharp peck, he knew it wouldn't take much more to knock her out if he is lucky.

((Really? I would have thought it would continue to wear away at the PP, then when they reached 0 even if you don't normally use it they'd still be forced to 'struggle'. Also no worries about the short posts, not like I don't do it all the time.))
"He will come hard and from the left. Prediction. Mizuki Kamikiri" The ghost's trainer would state in a clear voice, folding her hands gently across her lap. In response the Misdreavus's body would contort, twisting until it was pencil thin and shifting backward slightly. Both presenting a smaller target, and moving out of the way.
