"... No. That rumor will die... with the human that caused it." Punk was quiet for a few moments, then chuckled. "Humans are amazing, aren't they? A single action from a human is why you're in the north and I'm in the south."
Looking at Ca, he smiled and shook his head. "I really didn't do anything. I just took her home with me. Half of the time I wasn't even there. In all honesty... Sometimes I wonder who saved who that day." Meeting Paimon's gaze again, his smile was gentle and genuine. "You make her happy, Paimon. That's all I need to know."

Paimon smiled. "Funny how fate works that way..." he pondered for a moment then realized, that with their alignments, it was possible that he may end up on the battlefield one day, opposite the father of his lifemate. The thought disturbed him. Why must this civil war force everyone against each other?
"You saved her." He responded.

Punk closed his eyes, still smiling. "Guess I did. I guess I just find it strange, being seen as the hero." Opening his eyes, he looked at the sleeping Ca again. "She... turned my life around. Finding Ca was... probably the best thing that happened to me." Glancing at Liron, his smile widened. "And prepared me for the next surprise I got." Though it still hadn't been enough to keep Cam close...
He sighed, looking up at the sky. "I'm starting to wonder how long I can stay in the south. I might have to start wandering again..."

Paimon watched Punk silently before nodded his head slightly. "We will always welcome your presence, once we have picked somewhere to settle." He offered, looking again at Punk's other daughter, with the weird thing on her back.

Punk smiled. "Thanks. Though before that... there's someone I still have to find. And maybe while I'm searching, I'll find my other daughter too." He was quiet for a moment, then sighed and shook his head. "Nah... that's probably not a good idea. I doubt she'd want to see me." He caught Paimon's staring and chuckled. "I don't think anyone's got a stranger family than mine. Though Card's kids are a little... but I don't think I'd have it any other way." He grinned. "Then again... I don't think anyone in my family can be ordinary."

Paimon raised his eyebrow. "Would this someone you are looking for happen to be Ca's mom, or well... who she considers her mom?" He asked hesitantly. If Ca and Punk were both wanting to look for the same person, then perhaps itd be easier to just travel with Punk.

"... Yeah. Melda Merilwen Lothiriel. She was only there for a winter, when Ca was still in her blanket, but Ca thinks of her as her mother--and Melda thinks of her as a daughter. I wish that Liron and Cam could've met her too, but..." Melda hadn't come south again, something that instinctively made him uneasy. He sighed. "But before that... I'm gonna have to go back south. If they don't see me in a while, they might send someone out to look for me." Rolling his eyes, he added, "And with my luck, it'll be Cardinal or one of his brood."

Paimon nodded. "Ca and I were going to look for her. Thats what brought us together in the first place. Perhaps, you can go South and await and when we find her, we can send for you." He offered, thinking that it was a win win situation for all of them.

Punk shook his head. "The last thing the two of you need is for Ruin to catch you on his own turf. I'll come back north when I've taken care of things in the south." He grinned. "Besides, I told Sauron that I'd help him look for his northern mother too. Considering he seems to like your niece, I think he's gonna need all the help he can get."

Paimon sighed and shook his head. "I can just as easily send a messenger to you, rather than step in those lands myself. My nephews are fairly decent warriors and, as they have the Flame, they are not bothered by other Sixers." he responded. "Sauron is looking for his mother? Why?" He was familiar with the boy. The boy had been trained by Ruin, and trouble followed him.

Punk shrugged. "If you think that's best." As for Sauron... "I imagine he'd like to meet her, as he has not seen her since he was a foal. He may technically be a Sixer, but he's got a northern mentality. That, and a apparent a duty to family."

Paimon nodded. "Then we shall plan on it. If you can give me Sauron's mother's name, I will search for her as well."

Punk shook his head. "I don't know it. I know his father, so from the differences I can make guesses as to what she looks like, but... I also don't know his father's family, so I can't be sure."

Paimon gave a terse nod. "Well you get any details on her, let me know and I will make sure to keep an eye out for her. As for getting you information on Melda, I will send a... family friend to see you. His name is Loren, but be sure not to compromise his position. He is one of my Father's lackeys, but actually works double as an informant for me and my brother." He said, a small yawn escaping his mouth. He apologized for the rudeness as he began to groom Ca's mane.

Punk grinned. "Just because I'm a songbird doesn't mean I'm a chatterbox. I know how to keep things hidden; trust me, I've had to do it plenty. Especially with Cardinal around..."
Ca's eye opened at the sound of the name, snorting her distaste of the mentioned stallion. Then she let her eye slide shut again, relaxing against Paimon and sighing happily as he groomed her mane.
Punk shook his head with a smile. She just couldn't avoid voicing her silent opinion about his former friend, could she? He chuckled at Paimon's apology. "Paimon, I'm probably the last person you need to apologize to for rudeness." The bird Azrien was probably the rudest and most obnoxious stallion on the island.
