 Nami Mokuzaibara
~Migoto Bara no Tei~  Nami was getting quite irritated. The hushed words of the villagers brought some insight as to why Maki was acting this way. An Uchiha? That explained so much, or at least it did to her. Since he decided he was going to walk away with his nose in the air, Nami decided to toy with him some. With little effort, she was soon in front of him, a smirk upon her face. "I heard Uchihas were snobs, but not klutzes and rude. Didn't you hear what I said? I am going to be serving under the Kazekage, and the citizenry of this village!" She now had her eyes locked with his. From what she could tell, he was not in possession of the sharingan yet. That provided the perfect opportunity to knock him off his high horse. Forming the only hand seal she needed, Nami disappeared with a loud boom. She then reappeared in front of Maki, kunai in hand, and slammed it into him, flipping back as she smirked. The Instant Strike was one of her favorite moves to use on some of those less polite boys back home. The sheer shock and force from the hit made them believe she actually got them.

As the girl badmouthed the Uchiha, he cared not. The opinions of others did not matter, however it seemed she was soon to learn that Maki was beyond her comprehension of what a normal person was. She would appear before him and charge forth with her kunai to slam it into him. The funny thing was, Maki held an item in his hand that could have ended the entire farce, but he decided to play along for now. As she charged forth, he let it hit him and made no expression in reply. He only simply replied. "A cute trick.. but death does not scare me. I have only one fear, and death is not it." He stated calmly. "Had I chose to block or counter your move, this would have led to a scaled fight in these streets. Citizens would have had their stores damaged and their lives at stake. You claim to be here to serve these citizens yet you just risked fighting another Shinobi with them present and their livelihood present as well." He stated calmly. The truth being he had even given his Sensei the chance to kill him. Maki was not afraid of death and nor pain nor death could deter him from anything he had set his mind on. And right now. His mind was on reaching the Kazekage's office. With that, he began to walk towards the Kaze's office once again. {Current Word Pool - 1134}

~Migoto Bara no Tei~ What was with this kid? Even if he was an Uchiha, not having the sharingan would not let him see the genjutsu she had just used until it was too late. Still, he had the nerve to claim she did not care about the citizens she would soon protect, or their livelihood. That's the sole reason she only used her genjutsu. "You cocky brat! You're on my s**t list Maki Uchiha!" Turning on her heels, she stormed off in the other direction, furious and cursing him under her breath. After finding a tea shop to sit in and cool off, Nami drank her oolong in silence, her irritation boiling hotter than the tea. The server had heard about the commotion, and seemed to apologize for it. It turned out Maki lost his parents in a sandstorm, and he was also not afraid of death. Staring into her tea, Nami sighed. "I still do not think that gives him an excuse to insult me like he has."While walking towards where she was told her new house would be, Nami decided to look in a few more shops. Just like any girl, shopping was therapeutic and made her happy. She was soon grinning as she carried a around eight bags of new clothes now. "Ahh there is nothing like a shopping spree to make a girl forget about some bratty boy!" However, before Nami realized it, she was walking in the wrong direction, and was right behind Maki. Looking up to the nearly cloudless sky, Nami wondered if she would have a good view of the village from her new home. Taking a step forward too much, she bumped into the person in front of her, and then got all flustered. "Oh I'm sorry! I was staring at the sky and didn't realize I had gotten so close to anyone!" She opened her eyes, and saw him. Her face went into a scowl, and she took a few steps back. "You again?! What, are you following me now?! I don't care if you are an Uchiha, you are not following me home!"

Maki ignored the girl and continued on to the Kaze's mansion. Surrounding the Kaze's mansion were few stores and precious little. Suddenly someone bumped into him from behind and screamed that he was following her. "You bumped into me, I couldn't be following you if I am ahead of you." He stated with a sigh. "Unless you're headed to the Kazekage's mansion you are headed in the wrong direction, nothing else is out here." He stated calmly. But with that, he walked over to the side of the road, plopped down, and stared at the sky. He seemed to daze off, seemed to at least, and thought of his Sensei not yet even being on this road, so his Sensei was not even there to discuss the mission. He had time to kill. He yawned and rested his arms beneath his head. He had one goal, he would unlock his eyes. But never losing a fight made it difficult to unlock his eyes, even now with his hands hidden he was forming hand signs, they were not noticeable in anyway shape or form unless one could see through human body parts. But was he using a jutsu or just practicing? {Current Word Pool - 1134}

~Migoto Bara no Tei~ Nami was about ready to slap the teeth out of this kid. Still, he pointed out that this direction lead to the Kaze's mansion, which was where she needed to be going to soon anyhow. "How about this. You show me to the housing area, and then escort me to the Kazekage's mansion, and then all will be forgiven!" She was completely serious at this point. Nami needed to get directions nailed down, and as much as she cringed at the thought, it seemed like she needed this brat's help.

Maki really was getting tired of this girl's attitude. "Listen, I am not your escort dog." He stated simply as he pulled out a scroll and began to write on it. He was not going to tolerate walking around with this whiny girl with a mouth too big for her size. He took a deep breath and relaxed. He continued writing on the scroll and put a giant x where they currently were and marked it You Are Here. He then titled the buildings and locations and put the writing utensil away. "Here." He stated as he tossed the scroll over to her. "I have things to do, I can't lead you around. But that map should be self-efficient." He stated/ {Current Word Pool - 1134}

~Migoto Bara no Tei~ This kid just did not know when to quit. Before she could say anything back, Nami was handed a scroll with a makeshift map upon it. Glaring daggers at the boy, she was have tempted to leave a very dangerous rose in his possession, but decided it would do more harm to the surroundings. Before leaving, she looked over her shoulder and stuck out her tongue. "Don't think this is over, brat!" With that, she took her leave of the Uchiha. Storming down the streets, map in one hand and bags draped on her arms, Nami began to make her was towards her new home in Suna. One thing that concerned her was what her neighbors would be like. She would always do her best to be a good neighbor, but something told her if she was near Maki Uchiha, she would have to change that rule. {Exit to Housing District}

Maki sighed as the girl stormed off, there really was no way to please that girl. He laid back and watched the clouds as he waited for his sensei, the only logical sense that he could think of why this girl kept following him and being so rude to him was that she liked him or thought him attractive. To which Maki did not care. He was not one to seek relationships, the closer you got to people the more you felt when you left them to die to complete the mission. Although he wondered where his Sensei was. He should be on this road towards the Kazekage's office. {Current Word Pool - 1134}

Manta approached his student from behind, creeping silently behind him for a few steps, before calmly patting him on the head. His voice was calm, poised, and refined.
"My apologies for my lateness, a personal ritual had to be observed."
The young jounin promptly pulled out a tiny stool from his backpack, expanding it with a click of a little switch. When it unfolded, it was large enough for him to sit comfortably on it, something the Jounin took to doing. When he was situated, he pulled out a tiny leaflet from his pocket, and handed it to the genin.
"You were here first, so you get to choose the mission. C-Rank or lower."

Manta nodded, taking his leaflet back from the student, then, thinking on it, gave it back to him. "Actually, I think we should take a D-rank, sorry for that. It's just I need to know your abilities and such. Meet me in the Kazekage's office with a mission in mind, and we'll check in with Darello about it."

~Migoto Bara no Tei~ As Nami strolled down the road with the scroll open, she perused the possible missions she could perform. Some of them were solo missions, while others would require a team of two to four members. As long as it wasn't with that Maki brat, then she would be fine. On the other hand, since he was genin, she most likely wouldn't be going on missions with him any time soon. Rolling the scroll back up and slipping it into her pouch, Nami began to walk towards the area of the market where she was told she could find furnishings of different kinds. She was thoroughly impressed by the selections in the furniture store. They had styles that spanned from all over the lands. While sitting on a lounger that was made in Konaha, Nami wondered if she should go with something from Tori no Kuni, or start with something fresh and new. {OOC:}

Mood: Confused, sad, and somewhat mad.
Who he is with: No one.
Where he is: The Village Streets.

Ryuu made his way down from the cliffs and to the village streets. He was was going pretty slow but, it was only because Ryuu felt tired and he just kinda felt like going a little slower than normal. He definitely knew that he didn't want to run to the Kazekage's office. When he actually got to the village street, he walked through the market and when he got there something was off. He wasn't sure but, when he went past the cook it seemed more apparent. There was whispers of him. He hadn't even done anything. Ryuu tried to tune them out but, he couldn't. It was really bugging him so, he walked into the furniture store and found a quiet corner. When he thought about the whispers he could only remember a few of the most apparent of them. These were, 'That kid got beat by Maki Uchiha without a single jutsu.', 'How'd he even become a Shinobi?', and the one bothered him the most, 'What a loser.' All of these combined hurt but, Ryuu didn't care. If villagers want to give into rumors it didn't matter to him. He had trained hard to be a shinobi and he would be the best medical ninja in this village. Even if the villagers thought poorly of him.
