 Amount of Quicksilver On Hand - 1 foot diameter sphere
Kawarimi no Jutsu Cool Down - Ready
Focusing only very slightly a very small amount of quicksilver would slip out of his gord gently pushing the cork out of the way. It floated up into a ball in the middle of the table before shifting form into a miniature dragon and then bursting into tiny droplets. Reforming it took the shape of a butterfly and flew around the room for a few seconds before flowing back to his gourd and recapping it. "I't's not to difficult to do in small amounts, but the larger the quantity the heavier it is and the more chakra it takes to keep it up and manipulate it. Though I take comfort in the fact that no Iron sand or Gold dust user would ever be able to beat me." He talked as he preformed the little show, and then paused as he finished before continuing. "Your crystal techniques are impressive as well, though I don't think you have gone quite far enough with them in terms of scale. Would it be possible for you to coat a small area of the ground in your crystal? An idea was forming rapidly in Hikaru's strategic mind, and soon it would take form but it was up to Ryuu to see it through, and as partners if Ryuu perfected what Hikaru was suggesting the duo would be unstoppable. Ryuu thought about the idea. It was certainly an interesting idea and he was sure if he practiced it he could do what Hikaru was asking. "I'm sure I can do that, it would just take some practice but, with the practice it's more than possible. Why, you have an idea for a duo combination technique? Ryuu said to Hikaru. If they were to do that the crystals defense as well as Hikaru's silver defense would sky rocket and make any defense they put up indestructible to a point.

Hikaru smiled and nodded an idea was forming but not for a combination defense or an offense. "My idea is for a combination strategy. Neither of us is gifted with the ability to see a 360 degree circle. However back to back we would never be taken down so long as your attacks were instant like mine are. And then through fast communication we could support each others attacks and defenses better by adding another layer or a second attack. See my techniques are easiest and at their fastest when I'm ready, that means keeping them magnetized in some way, for example the floating spheres I usually keep around myself in battle. Your techniques which come from the ground would be much faster and easier to use with a constant source. Say a 20 foot circle of prepared crystal over the ground. With both of us standing in the center and my orbs around us both so long as we communicate properly we can't be touched. Then offense is just as fast, again requiring absolute perfect communication until we have mastered each others moves. As for a combined defense, if my sphere were plated in your crystal, internally, or externally, it would be all but unbreakable. Offensively my techniques are faster but yours hit harder and are slower. As a one, two punch combination they would be all but unbeatable so long as you can predict their dodge." Pausing he got up to refill his glass with water and lowered his mask for a second to take a drink before returning to the table. OOC: What I outlined is theoretically true so long as we never let anyone separate us and practice the Stationary fighting style such as Gaara, it isn't as actiony but it is a winning strategy, basically my theory is that the Sum of the parts are greater than its whole. “I end my fights quickly so that fewer people need to suffer.”

Ryuu nodded and thought about the idea. In truth is was a great idea and mixing their special abilities would help quiet a bit especially if he already had a stable source of crystal. He had thought about this in the past but, he figured that it was too heavy to actually carry around. "Your plan is a great idea. It would take a lot of training to put us in perfect synch but, with the time and effort we could perform things together flawlessly. Perhaps we can ask our sensei Manta if he can help with this training or even the jounin Katsu that we were sparring with might help us."

Hikaru followed Ryuu's line of reasoning, but it led him to a friendly place with Katsu and that wasn't a place he saw that relationship going. "I think Manta-sensei might be able to help us perfect our teamwork, but I would rather just use Katsu-sama as a test subject when were ready." He said this with a sharp eye smile indicating just how enjoyable the thought of using Katsu as a target pleased him. OOC: “I end my fights quickly so that fewer people need to suffer.”

Ryuu nodded a bit. "Sounds like a plan to me. I'm sure Manta-Sensei will be able to help us a lot in doing that considering how well him and Jounin Katsu worked together. Ryuu said to him. Now, he really couldn't wait for training with his new teammate. It made him happy to have such a good teammate on his team and he actually showed it. He looked under Hikaru's mask as he moved it and wondered about it. He really didn't think he should ask about why he wore it though.

Glancing at the time Hikaru noticed that it was starting to get close to noon. He felt a bit grimy but a trip to the bath would have to wait. "We should get going, its getting close to time." Standing up he looked to Ryuu to lead the way, as Ryuu was his senior it was only right. OOC: “I end my fights quickly so that fewer people need to suffer.”

Ryuu nodded. "You're right it is about time that we leave for the mission." Ryuu said and stood up. He grabbed his backpack and quickly put his canteen of water into it. He then opened the door and left his apartment. He had everything that he needed but, he wasn't sure if Hikaru had all of his stuff. "Do we need to stop by your house to get some of your stuff?" Ryuu said to him before he would leave the housing district. He knew that it'd be better to get the stuff now then to walk back.

Ryuu nodded and made his way out of the housing district. He would then make his way to the village streets. While he was going there he figured that he might as well strike up a conversation with Hikaru. "So, when did you figured out you were able to control that silver?" Ryuu said. He figured it was a harmless question considering all the things he could ask but, it would do to start a conversation between the two.
