Tuck had been silent for the duration of his visit, but the moment that the guy with the accent started talking, he'd turned to watch him - and the other dude too. Extraction sounded like serious s**t. Tuck gave him a bro-nod.

S'up-style.

Herryk chuckled.

<This one, he is small and mousy.> A pause. <Help him. Almost like a ghoul, he is.>

Tuck forced down a laugh, but rose to his feet and gave Kostya a smile.

"I'm Tuck. New here, but willing to help in whatever way I can." He turned back to Edith and Charlotte, dipping his head in respect.

"Count me in on his team." He gestured with a jerk of his head in Kostya's direction. "Gruntwork, whatever, I got it."

It was interesting to hear everyones proposal on different projects, and Jason found himself very interested in what Harrison was talking about. Field medic training sounded just up his alley. Not to mention research was something he liked doing himself. And there was also talk of rebuilding the towns. He was...pretty sure he could help out there.

"I can help out with the building as well." He finally put in. "And the, um, research, if a extra hand is needed with that." He was all for reading books. Lots of books plz.

He then paused to listen to Wash, his expression one of concern as he remembered what the moon trainee had been through. His idea was good though, he wondered what else could be done.

"Um, I'd like to add to Wash's suggestion...well, more like inquire about the use of headsets during everyday use." He had used them only a few times before, which made him wonder as to why they were not used more often. "I-if we use them more often on missions...we could keep in contact with our team members when seperated, and more readily act if danger presents itself."

Edith sent Konstantin a dry look, "You'll get used to the state of the town. We try to fix it up as we can, but there's a reason most people choose to stay in the dorms. That reason being something destroying it at least once a year. Place is like Tokyo in those old Godzilla movies." Making a small notation in her own notebook, the leader continued, "If we wanted to shield that large of an area, we'd have to take the power elsewhere, and sadly enough, elsewhere is more important than personal housing."

Lifting her gaze, she gave the trainee a firm nod, "But it is past due that an organized Moon crew swept the area. So you have the green light. Now don't let other hunters try to tell you to fix their place up for free. Making it livable is free, they want any extras and frills, the cost of materials and labor come out of their pockets.

Shifting her attention to Wash, Edith answered, "The Death assistants used to organize and lead our rescue teams. It was expected for the current one to take over but..." the woman's expression soured, "...most people would be better off not being rescued by the efforts of that particular young man and all his Star Trek shenanigans." She glanced at Dakota and then back, "Mr. Rainstar has requested to build and train a rescue team, I suggest you compare notes with him first if you're interested in building your own as well. Once you have a game plan, bring it to my desk."

The leader made a few more notes before answering Jason's question, "Everyday use, just use your dang phone. On missions, just grab sets from the quartermaster prior to leaving. Just keep in mind, the bad juju that messes with our phone reception can just as easily wreak havoc on the headsets."
