Kuro stood silent amazed by the females courage, to stand up to a threat as he was, but even the most resilient go down eventually. His nose alerted him to another presence in the area behind him. both ears directed back hearing the footsteps of the wolf, proving his nose hadn't lied. "So, you're alive and well it seems. I guess you were right bro. We're not the only ones left." He turned to the side and his eyes landed on the red furred wolf. Emotions were concealed to observers but inside there was a explosion of joy. A hint of a smile crept along his maw.
Streak spun around, the familiar figure entering into his field of vision. He took a step forward his eyes wide with amazement. It left his breathless and he couldn't come up with words. His ears pushed forward and hes jaw hung opened slightly. He took another hesitant step closer his heart nearly tearing from his chest. "B-Bullet...."

Subliminal, once a notorious and well respected brute, now forced to maunder through the slums, or what was left of a wealthy society.
His chasms strayed toward the lifeless foiliage as a restless grumble persisted with-in his abdominal. Gah.. So much for the lively land i've heard so much about back home. He snorted solemnly, hunger being a key factor in the rash personality he had just adopted.
Pedestals trembled as his muscular build prooved harder to keep from the dead-like lithosphere. A few scavengers forced his auditives erect, and proboscis rise as his impaired vision narrowed onto an cadavarous ungulate that seem to be the source of the commotion. Food.., one word that seem to dominantly occupy his thoughts and force a jolt of reserved energy to surface, resulting in a spontaneous dash toward the corpse, sending the flock of Crows to flee.
Visionaries settled on what was left of the kill. A few scraps of meat that he'd normally deem as a waste of time, but now a glorious gift from above.
Puppishly, he'd abrade the sparse amount of meat off with his fore ligaments and consume what was left. Unsatisfied and still cratling the sensation of hunger, he'd malisciously snap off the ungulates humerus and force it open to lap up the secondary source of nutrition; Marrow.
Taking as much as he can from the ungulate, he'd persist to maunder in search of a safe encloser to rest, faciley 'prancing' through a sorry excuse of a forrestrial realm.

Bullet couldn't hide how happy she was to see them. She bounced in small happy circles chirping "You're alive! You're alive!" over and over. White fur suddenly fell to the ground. It made her jump back before running over to nudge the wolf lightly. Bullet didn't know this strange creature but she was with her family so she must be a friend.
Looking back over to her fellow wolves another scent floated through the air. It was wolf, but it seemed more dangerous. Unsure what was around the bend, Bullet felt the need to get the wolf fallen at her feet to safety.
"What happened Kuro? Who is this female?" Bullet tried to stay calm, to show she wanted to help, but still the sharp edge of jealousy slid through the last word. Quickly changing the subject she looked to her old friend Streak "Do you smell that? I think someone else is near us." leaving it up to them to decided what the scent meant.
Bullet laid down next to white fang noticing how still she lay. The wolf hoped her body heat may help it wake up before the cold of death came.

Black eyes peered down at the larger brute as he eat. It had been days, or weeks now sense she last fed. Her stomach grumbled but she ignored it as always. The male did not seem satisfied with his meal and energy to hunt was getting low in her. An alliance would make things easier. An alliance with a wolf of his size could be deadly though. Scarlett had learned to live without true food and it made her a lesser hunter.
Her form landed lightly on the ground as she moved off the flimsy tree branches. Lower her massive skull to the ground in a friendly greeting, her eye glued to the larger wolf.

Kuro and Streak simultaneously looked back at the female. The glanced at each other then back at Bullet. They shrugged their shoulders not sure what to tell her since they had just recently met her not to long ago.
Streak spoke first softly. "There's not much to say about this one. One moment were here relaxed on by a peaceful stream and the next there was a bloody battle going on behind us!" He still was cheery about seeing his friend once again. His tail wagged unconsciously as his eyes rested upon her. Kuro padded back and nudged the female with a loose paw. She was still alive and breathing. His nose alerted him to the scent of wolves massing in the near distance. "There are two wolves in the forest. It's probably best that we move along. There's not need to waste blood and energy on a confrontation." Kuro crouched down and scooped the female up and onto his back. Even though she threatened him he knew the decent thing to do was help.

The caligineously pigmented hessian retained the subtle snarl, back-stepping a tad not fancying the surprise greet.
Still baring the temporary famine, his occuli preyed on the fae as if she were hare, contemplating between cannibalism or sanity. Seeing her take an inferior/friendly stance abreviated his aggressive disposition.
As a subtle simper overcame his estuary, his labrums parted, "And who might you be?" his vocals rang in a baritone fashion, words slipping out slickly as if he'd expected a confrontation.

XSK BlackStreak [[wasn't it kuro that was her mate? just let me know which one you want it to be - Bullet]] Agreeing to move along she nodded and got up. "Where are we headed? There doesn't seem to be much life left here anymore." Her words showed how much it saddened her to realize it. "I've been wandering around for a long time now," Her eyes moved to watch the trees and be aware for the other unknown wolves near.
With a sigh Bullet motioned to start travailing. Not knowing this female and not knowing where they would go bothered her a lot and she tried not to show it. She focused on being reunited with a small but major part of her family.

Cautious eyes fallowed his movement. Feeling his tension made her move back a step. It caused her to tense for a fight she didn't want. Her words as dry and scratchy as her mouth "My name is Scarlett, I do not wish to fight you," she lowered her head a little "you would be victor at this time." Admitting she would lose bothered the female terribly. Raising herself to a proper pose she allowed herself to speak again, "there is little prey here, why would you wandered to this dead place?"
Tired and thirsty she sented the air for a water source and instead cought wiff of three, no, four other wolves. She grunted at the smells and shook her fur. Without waiting for the male to respond she turned with a gliding step. There are to many here, I can barely catch a mouse let a lone try to defend myself against all of them. That made her stop, to look back at the strong male. Maw turned into a sly smile. "Why don't we stick together? Maybe we can find a real meal." Mind black with dark images of betraying wolves and being able to finally feed. This wolf would be a good ally for such a task.

The brutes caudal appendage fluctuated briefly as he examined her words carefully. Not having to respond to the first portion prooved in his favor. Chuckling, he began sizing the female up and what benefit he can obtain from this alliance. "Perhaps sticking with a fae such as yourself that knows these lands isn't such a bad idea afterall.." He snorted briefly, ushering his fore pedestal foward, accepting her proposition. "You have yourself an ally... Friend."

Frostridge was dreaming again, a strange dream that flit between memory and- She could feel her motionless body being carried, solid muscle rolling beneath her limp form. Her whole body ached and-
She was in the lab, the cell bars seperating her from the rest of the room- A familiar human scent, a white lab coat, tousled brown hair tied back neatly- "Jane!" she called in her mind, her collar sputtering the name with its cool mechanical voice. But the woman remained motionless, her back turned.
The woman began to slowly walk away and the room suddenly shifted to a long metal corridor, the other end bathed in darkness. Some strange fear entered into her and she called out more desperately, pawing at the steel cage imprisoning her. "Jane, please-" the woman stopped. "Come back." her begging lost in the emotionless female voice of the silver collar around her neck-
oOo
Frostridge's collar sputtered to life, emitting a odd crackle, and causing the wolf carrying her to nearly drop her to the ground. Then a staticy, robotic voice, faint but defineable whispered. "-ome b-ack."
This time Kuro really did drop the unconcious wolf with a snarl of suspicion.
She did not stir, only whimpering as if trapped in a nightmare-
oOo
The earth shook, breaking Frostridge's cage to pieces and she surged forward, but the distance of the corridor seemed to stretch between her and her human- " Jane, stop!" the voice too calm, too mockingly emotionless.
The corridor suddenly burst into flames, seperating them and Frostridge skidded to a halt, horrified. Slowly Human Jane turned, and she could see she was smiling, a sad smile as the tears fell down her face, as the flickering flames enveloped her-
"NOOOOO!" she was howling, screaming, and this time, it was her voice, her real voice, not the mocking impersonation of a machine's as she watched the fire swallow up the first friend she had ever had-
oOo
The collar gave a loud screech and a stream of words that made no sense, startling the curious wolves. The white-wolf writhed and thrashed against the ground weakly, in agony, her eyes wide and unseeing as her claws raked the earth, mindless of her wounds.

Bullet jumped back from Kuro and Streak as the female they carried began sputtering strange, unnatural noises she couldn't understand. A moment of silence brought on flailing, noise streaking self attack. Her eyes locked on to the white wolf.
"What is happening to her?" She worried that the noise might attract danger. Her head swam with things to do, but nothing would be helpful. She paced back and forth, the strange panic attack had the white wolf's eyes open yet not seeing. What can I do? I have to help her, Bullet took a step closer to the wolf to grab her scruff and pull her to safety. Her well meaning effort proved worthless however, as the spasming wolf's legs kicked and clawed at her.
Backing up she took a spot between the males and sat down. Bullet shook her head and glanced at them to see if they could help.

Scarlett's head snapped up at a strange sound. Knowing it was human angered her. Narrowing her eyes and listing hard her ears scanned the area "Ome..Back" The words came clear. Human language. "What shall I call you friend?" She asked him kindly. Eyes stuck in the direction of the sounds. Human hatred was deep within her soul. If there was one near it would be dead soon.

Occulus examined the effeminate Canidae's expression and took notice of its' subtle influenced anger. Curious, he scented the breeze, enhancing the scent as he influenced the wind to blow down-word. Haulting in his techniques, he grinned meekly, "Forgive me.. My name's Subliminal." He chortled lightly, redirecting his gaze elsewhere. "Friend of yours?" he asked innocently attempting to find out what angered her about the scent.

Her head moved to nod to his name, she would attempt to remember it. Hearing him ask that question pulled a shallow grumbling growl from her throat. Still looking in the scents direction, teeth bare as the rumbling slowed. "No," she said with a cold edge, "it's a human. Humans have no place here." She lowered herself into a stalking pose as she moved toward the sound. "Plus, we would have food," she said with a slit grin. It was an unneeded statement, but maybe the possibility of food would keep his interest in her mission. Scarlett had a full intention of stalking and filling her belly with this creature.

Bullet waited until the female calmed down, the strange noises to stop. She seemed to relax for a moment. "Quickly! We have to get her to safety. If we get her to the river she might be able to recover." Bullet pushed at the larger female, trying to move her. "We aren't to far, just a few more trees," Her smaller form was only able to move the wolf a little. Her eyes looked to Kuro and Streak for help.
She wasn't thinking to scent the wind for danger. Anything could be near them. The red wolf was to busy trying to help. Her mind was set on this task.
