George completely ignored her getting self conscious, he was too tired and oblivious in the morning. "Yea I figured you might need some help during the night or this morning. So I stayed around in case you needed my help."
He yawned again and smiled, "Its good to see you are feeling better though. Yesterday you couldn't walk 3 feet without throwing up." He yawned again as he walked over towards the coffee maker.
"This smells really good, I need some serious caffeine if I am going to be awake this early. I don't know how you can get up so early in the morning." He stretched really quick and looked at her coffee machine waiting for it to finish.

Reaching up, she pulled down a couple of large mugs from a cabinet and held one out to him. A small smirk rested on her lips. "So you slept on what is probably the most uncomfortable piece of furniture in the world in an unfamiliar house with a woman who could snap at the drop of a hat in order to make sure that said woman had help if she needed it."
Leaning against the counter, waiting for the coffee to finish, she watched the man in front of her with a small smile on her face and her head tilted to the side a bit. She didn't get him.

He looked over at her with his eyes partially dropping, "Yea but I didn't know it was so uncomfortable. Most couches are at least somewhat comfy, that was rock hard."
He yawned again, "Plus I wasn't worried about you 'snapping' you don't scare me Princess." He smiled looking over at her taking the mug.
"This damn coffee needs to hurry up though, how do you drink your coffee? Black or with milk and sugar?" He looked over at the fridge and shuffled over there to grab some milk at least.

"Well, when I went shopping, I specifically had in mind 'What would make George, a person I don't even know, the least uncomfortable when he comes to sleep over technically uninvited at my house." She smirked, sarcasm dripping from her words.
Pushing off the counter, she limped over to him and gently nudged him out of the way. "First of all I have creamer for the coffee; don't use my milk please." She reached into the back of her fridge and pulled out the creamer and some whipped cream as well. "Secondly, I'm surprised you're not scared of me, considering everything."
The coffee maker peeped to signal that it was finished and she limped herself back to the counter, setting everything on it before reaching back up into the cabinet and pulling down hot coco mix and sugar.

George shuffled back after being nudged out of the way, "See I knew you did it just to spite me. Makes perfect sense now." He smiled obviously ignoring her sarcasm.
He walked over to the coffee and waited for her, "Well milk tastes better but whatever, I just need the caffeine at the moment. And why would I be scared of you? You are strange but not scary, there is nothing to consider you being otherwise."
He yawned again, "What are you grabbing now? Coffee doesn't need all that random stuff, it just need a little bit of milk and a little bit of sugar. Thats it." He stretched out a bit, as he waited for some coffee.

"You should be scared because I'm crazy, psychopathic, dangerous, deadly, and quite decent at torture." She said it casually, but considering her actions the night before...
As she added her extras into her cup, she ignored his comments and poured herself a generous amount. After the first sip of the concoction that probably could rot teeth, she gave him a harsh look. "The chocolate has more caffeine in it as well as raise metabolism. The whipped cream and cream is a strong source of milk-based nutrients and instantly cools the coffee to keep from burning because I've hand enough burn-related injuries."

George chuckled, "Even if half those things are true, it just makes it more interesting. If you don't harm innocent people, me or those I care about, I don't really care."
He grabbed the creamer and a little bit of the sugar then looked at the hot choco and poured some in as well. He filled it up completely with coffee, "I am taking your word on this, if its bad, I will blame you."
He took a sip and shrugged, "Not bad but it almost seems too sweet now." At the mention of her burn he looked down at her leg. He was feeling a bit more awake already, the heat and caffeine flowing through him.
"Speaking of your burn, later I will take a look at it and rebandage it for you. You should have some more ice packs put on it as well." He took another decent sip as he felt the wave of warmth pass through him. He sighed and smiled at her as he kept drinking the coffee.

Koorie raised an eyebrow at George and snorted. "I'm not the one who's forced you to drink my drink." She was begining to wake up a bit more, which meant she was acutely aware of being both hungry and very achy.
At the mention of her leg injury, she shook her head. "That won't be needed. I'll take care of it after you leave when I go to shower. This isn't my first time dealing with this stuff, and I'm used to relying on my own."

George shook his head, "Are you trying to get rid of me? It will be much easier if I do it for you. I don't doubt you can do it yourself but things are much easier if you have some help every so often."
He finished off his coffee and stretched out, "I will leave to go home and shower after I rebandage your leg after you shower Princess." He wasn't asking, he was telling her how it was going to be. But he smiled at her trying to show he cared.
"Now what do you have to eat in this place? While you take a shower, I can cook up some breakfast." He looked around and then in the fridge to see if he could find something good to eat.

Koorie stared at George, stunned into silence that not only did the man completely ignore her request to leave, he flat out ordered her on how she was going to handle this morning and how he was going to be the boss of it all. And now he was going through her kitchen to cook for her. All this was not something she was used to. In fact, the exact opposite of this was her normal, where there was no one here and she was the only one she needed to count on and worry about and take care of.
"I don't understand why you are so insistent on this..." She was sure he'd found the eggs, bacon, and other delicious foods in the fridge, not to mention the pantry had plenty of cereal.

George raised an eyebrow at her as he pulled some food out of the fridge. He set down the eggs, ham, onions, peppers, mushrooms and bacon on the counter before turning to answer her.
"I am insistent because this is the right thing to do to help a friend. Plus you are in no condition to do these things for yourself. Sure you could but it would take you forever, its much easier if I just do it. Now go take your shower while I cook."
He turned around and started to make some omelettes out the ingredients. He also started to fry up some bacon in the pan next to the omelette pan and then put some bread in the toaster. He was going to make a yummy meal and then after he ate and saw that she was good to go for the day he would leave.

Koorie didn't move, still watching him with wide eyes and surprise written all over her face. He honestly meant what he was saying, and that almost scared her. She watched him with her mouth hung open a bit as she watched him get ready to start making the food. This was impossible, this had to be a dream (or maybe a nightmare) of some sort. People didn't DO this sort of thing for her; they left her alone and she took care of herself and relied only on herself. That was just how it was supposed to be.
But George? George was taking all that order and giving it the middle finger before chucking it out the window.

As George started to peel the onions to cut them he realized that Koorie still hadn't moved. He turned around and turned the burners down really low before he spoke.
"I believe you are supposed to be going upstairs and shower right now. Do I have to carry you up there and help you run the water and everything?" He raised an eyebrow as he looked at her.
"I am cooking here but I can put it on hold to make sure you get up there and take the damn shower." He waited for her to get moving, if she didn't, he would pick her up like he had last night and carry her up there.

"That won't be necessary!" Koorie nearly squeaked out, clearly not wishing for his assistance farther than the kitchen. With one last bewildered glance him, she left the kitchen and started up the stairs. Once she was stripped and the water was heated, Koorie just stood in the water, closing her eyes and trying to let the water was everything away. She kept her injured leg out of the stream of hot water, and after what felt like an amazingly long time she rinsed the soap off of her and shut down the water.
Minutes later, feeling refreshed and dressed in a pair of shorts and a tank top, she was back down the stairs and walking into the kitchen. She felt and looked much better than before, and her hair hung in wet curls all the way down her back. "It smells good..." She admitted as she went to round the corner into her kitchen.

George was just finishing the last omelette when Koorie came around the corner. He flipped it really quick to see how the side was and then slid it off onto her plate. There was 2 plates on the table, each with an omelette sitting on it. Next to the omelette was 5 pieces of crisp bacon and a piece of buttered toast.
They each had a glass of orange juice but next to the plates were hot sauce, salsa, salt and pepper as well as some jam for the toast. He went over and set the dirty pans in the sink. He ran a bit of water and did a quick wipe of them so they would be easier to clean after they ate.
He walked over and sat down waving his hand to the other seat. "Breakfast is served, I can redo your bandage now or after we eat. What would you prefer?"
He started cutting up the omelette so he could eat and poured hot sauce all over it. Then a bunch of salsa with a bit of salt and pepper. He grabbed a piece of bacon and started munching on it as he waited for her to join him.
