"Oh? Well she isn't ours per say but she is an ally. She has been down in the rift for a meeting and aided us against the senshi. I assume, given her rank, she is given the same respect by us as our own General King and General Queens would be." He wouldn't want to anger her anyway, she had a good deal of power, and he would prefer to not have that power directed at him in anger. He rather liked living.
"And please, no sir. I'm only eighteen." Or at least he would be in two days time. No, he didn't want sir being used when speaking to him, it made him feel somewhat...old.
"And we all do serve chaos." And here he shrugged while glancing up at the other, he'd been looking down at the table as he spoke till now.

He fell silent at that, just short of actually biting his tongue to keep his displeasure to himself. The General's words left a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach; a feeling as though they had somehow lost. Was that why they were no longer fighting the White Moon senshi directly? Had the Dark Mirror simply been growing in numbers during this time by pulling those of the White Moon away one by one? If so, what exactly would it mean for the Negaverse once they were outnumbered? If the Court of the Dark Mirror wanted the Earth as much as the Negaverse did, what was to stop them from simply eradicating them? Overactive imagination kicking just a bit into overdrive, he cursed at himself for somehow channeling his inner Scheelite. God. "Of course... How could I have forgotten that." His words came out a bit blandly, eyes flat, no longer carrying that startled look.

"Your displeased with this arrangement, the alliance." He spoke while tilting his head every so slightly. Slate eyes watching the other. "It isn't bad. It is an alliance because we lack the numbers we need to handle the senshi, at least that is how I understand this alliance. And they have magic which we do not. They too lack in numbers, more so than we do." Which he didn't care about either way. The numbers their two factions held didn't matter to him like it did to the other. He'd like to, in fact, see more members of both factions because it would help in the end.
As drinks came to the table he nodded his thanks to the waiter and noted that food would be out in a few minutes. As the man left he took a sip of his drink. His fingers unlacing themselves so he could pick up his glass for a sip of the cool liquid, he'd been simple and gone with water.
"Do you worry over their motives? If so than I believe they wish to save the white moon senshi, to bring as many to their side as they can, which would in the process eliminate enemies of ours. But I believe in the end they wish to find a way to return to their proper home which is not here. I can only hope that the friends I have within that court would tell me if the plan was otherwise and they knew it." And he did trust Leto and Remarque as well as Aurora. He trusted those three and doubted they would lie to him or hold something like that from him.

"There were a lot of people in my time who were 'displeased' with the arrangement. As I've pointed out, I've been gone for some time; maybe a bit too long. I haven't had the time to make the adjustments that others have... I've seen what the Court can do on the battlefield. They're protecting what they think is theirs..." He leaned back as the waiter returned with their drinks, resisting the urge to slump into the corner of their booth to sit a bit more lazily with his feet propped up. He reached for his drink, popping a straw into it so that he could take a sip before setting the glass back down. "It's not their motives that I'm concerned by either... It's their objective. It's our lack of one. We work together for now, but what happens when it's down to just us and them? If they're growing in number and we're doing nothing... Just strikes me as a bad idea, but what would a Lieutenant know."

"We all are protecting what we think is ours. I can only hope that when the war is over, when we've won, that the dark mirror court won't turn on us and will do as I believe they wish to." And that was to return to their place. He was sure whenever this war came to a peak that chaos would win. He had to be sure of it. because the idea of losing was one which he couldn't handle. what would happen if that happened and he lived through the final fight and past the loss? It would be unwise and unsafe to remain here that was for certain.
Leaning back he glanced the other over. "I believe anyone, no matter their rank, can have ideas and thoughts that have merit. So do not put yourself down due to your rank. You've seen around longer than me so while I hold rank you have seen more than I have. You know more than I do on the past, on what happened before I joined." As he spoke he took another sip of his water before setting the glass down easily.
"I do agree though. We lack an objective. Not fighting the senshi and not gathering energy. Simply doing what the divisions do, seems to leave us with little to show. I can only hope it's because we are working toward letting the senshi become complacent and feel safe before we go back to attacking them. A war cannot be won if blood is not shed, not this sort of war." He said shaking his head and sighed.
"I am no tactics person but I know I would prefer o be out there fighting our enemy and reducing their numbers. That I know."

"I know things that I have been told by those who were my superiors. I know that we've been, had been, fighting against them to take back what's rightfully ours... They're aliens; invaders, and they don't belong here. We were told that collecting energy would help us achieve our goals, that stealing starseeds when necessary would also amplify that." His voice took on a passionate tone, eyes sparking again as if memory was springing that spark of dark energy back to life within him. It withered again seconds later, shoulders sagging slightly with a childlike disappointment as he reached for his coke again. "... And you're telling me that, after a year and a half, we've lost sight of that." He murmured. "How did it happen?"

"As was I told those things. Though how the energy went to removing the senshi I do not know, since we would be the ones attacking them. It was not as though we had some energy beam we shot at them." Shrugging lightly he gave something of a small sigh. "Though I do know the energy went to the youma as well, and the starseeds, to keep them alive. So perhaps that's the way it was meant." Keep the youma alive and the youma remain to fight the senshi and take some out, though he'd still never seen any youma aside from the Great youma kill anyone.
"How I cannot say. The new rules, orders really, were given to us at a meeting. I did not question it, I do not know what plans may be going on behind the scenes." He hoped there was some plan in place, some plotting going on, but so far he had heard and seen nothing which would point in that direction. "We were told that there would be consequences should we go pulling energy or starseeds unless it is to replenish our supply." And that was why he had refrained from doing so.

"There have always been consequences to our actions. We might get caught by senshi, or by mortal authorities. We might get flack from our superiors... You're lucky, in that aspect. There's only one rank that you have to answer to." A wry grin touched his lips and he seemed rather thankful by the interruption brought by their dinner's arrival. "Enough about what we do by night... What do you do by day?"

"Yes but they are the ultimate rank." He said shaking his head even though a smile played about his lips. As their food arrived and the topic of discussion changed he followed it.
Cutting up his food slowly he pondered what to say. Did he say everything? Yes. "I go to high school, thankfully I graduate this year. I work at a plant nursery as well. So right now, given it's winter, work isn't as busy as it will be come spring and summer." Fall even had some business. But the winter didn't have a lot really. Most of the time was spent planting things and getting things growing. They were also building a few new green houses on the property.

"I graduated last year... Hillworth, although my father pulled me out before the end of the semester and I finished most of my courses online. It was nice, getting away from everything... Really nice, actually." He leaned back comfortably pondering that for a moment as he pulled a slice of pizza on to his plate, dashing a bit of cheese from the shaker on the table atop it. "I like to think of myself as a 'good guy' more than the 'bad guy', but I suppose that's all subjective now. Plants, though? Are you into that sort of thing or does it just happen to be where you got a job?"

Something of a weary smile was followed by a nod of his head. "I agree that it can be nice to get away from everything, for a short period of time. I enjoyed getting a vacation away from here." And he was thinking about a vacation this summer as well, maybe, as he felt it would help him as much as the one had this past winter vacation had. He'd come back from France relaxed and able to deal with things easier. Maybe it was something to make a habit of, every few months take a vacation somewhere? An excuse, not like that he needed one, to see the world. He liked the idea - very much.
"A lot of things are subjective and yes, plants. I'm good with them and interested in them." Maybe not a very manly thing and such but he honestly didn't care. It didn't bother him what people though, it was something he was good at. "Do you plan on getting a job now that your back in Destiny City?"

"Can't say that I've put much thought into getting a job. I've still got Daddy's credit cards and I'll be taking classes over the summer to try and prep for being caught up to start college in the fall." He rolled his eyes slightly before shifting so that he could snag his glass to take another sip of his soda. "It's a thought, at least. We'll have to see how busy I am with everything now that I'm back... It can be hard enough to juggle classes with extracurricular activities like the one we share, let alone a job too."

"I've learned all too well and fast how difficult jugling the three things can be. I still have a hard time of deciding which thing is more important it seems to switch at times. I've even taken a vacation to relax from the stress of things." Not to mention his time off when he'd been a cat. He still couldn't believe, when he thought back on it, that he'd been a cat!
"I'm thinking I might go on a short vacation this summer before I start college this fall." Yes, the idea of a vacation this summer was sounding better and better in his head. It was a very nice idea. But where? He'd been to London and Paris. So somewhere else, he wanted to see the world bit by bit. Where could he go? Or rather where did he want to go? There were so any choices really and he knew his parents would pay for it and give their blessing, and well wishes. He also knew of the trip he, Lily, and Johnathan had to discuss pertaining to going to Disney. So maybe he'd get two trips this summer.
"I don't believe you'll find things too busy where duty is concerned. It seems we have been rather inactive lately."

"Maybe things will change. Maybe someone will make things change." He took another sip of his drink, finishing it off. "We can't just stand still and wait to see who will cross the line first." He ran his fingers lightly back through his hair, shaking his head slowly. "I guess that will just be one more thing to think on."

"Your right. We can't wait to see when the senshi will step out of line. I don't want to think of what they might do when they do indeed step out of line." He wasn't there for the torture but he had heard brief mention of it. He didn't know if any senshi capable, or willing, to commit such an act were still around or in number. But that could always be a way for them to cross the line and make the first move, they'd done it once after all, and he didn't want to wait and see if they did something and if it was like the past.
"Change would be good right now." Eating slowly he worked toward finishing off his meal, having not realized just how hungry he really was. Sips of water taken every other bite.
