Sibyl had been about to start changing when Kettil started telling her a better description of what fishing was like. Oh, maybe they should do it his way first. If she went in like this she would scare away all the fish, but if they started with the fishing poles there still might be some around later! Sometimes Sibyl did have reasonable logic, hunting was one of those 'sometimes'. "Puppets dancing?" Sibyl looked to the poles, taking one and holding it awkwardly. "Show me?"

Kettil didn't mind when Sibyl grabbed one of his poles as he took one up as well. The boil got his line ready and baited and then demonstrated on how to cast the line after he pointed toward a specific spot in the water, "It takes some getting used to. Not everyone gets it on the first try. Sometimes you catch something and sometimes you don't," he explained as the hook went into the water where he pointed.
"It took me a long time to get to the point where I could just aim for a specific target and just let it go," Kettil hummed a little, he was waiting for a moment or two first. For some people this could get boring.
Soon he started to lightly reel the line a bit and tug at the pole, "Can you see it moving just beneath the water?"

Sibyl watched with fascination as Kettil rigged up a line and sent it out, leaning toward the water over the edge to see where the lure went. She wasn't bored by this at all! She found this really cool! It was a new way to hunt other than just chasing her prey. Good for lazy days. "Yeah! I see it! Can I do one?"

Kettil nodded a bit, "Go for it! Don't get discouraged if you don't get it where you want it the first time. Just keep trying," the boil encouraged enthusiastically. The boil seemed ever so patient and serene as he talked her through the entire process.

((Evens - She does it right Odds - lol no)) "Okay! So..." She attached the bait. Good, good. Now to...cast the line. How had Kettil done it? She gave the rod a flick...too hard of a flick, apparently. The wire flew back behind her and the hook caught on a nearby plant. Sibyl blinked. "Oops.."

Kettil watched her as she performed the action and though they were unsuccessful, it was good for a first attempt. Kettil made a fist pump toward the sky, "Good work! Try again!"
