"The tournament", Jack would say. "Maybe I might get in one last training regiment but regardless, I believe I am ready". Jack would say before walked back to the end of the room deactivating his sword and putting it on his belt. He would just sit back down on the chair and read another book on the weapon styles, looking for a move he might want to learn. Jack frowned however, there were really no skills that appealed to him, most of them were just a flurry strikes in different ways and orders, but they were fast...and they would probably come in handy in the tournament. He had to pick one or two to learn before the fighting began.

The man wrapped in a pitch black cloak looked over to Jack from under his mask. He would suddenly walk over to Jack and crouch down and would start to poke the boy's face as he meditated. "Come on, are you just gonna sit there all day or are you going to do something productive! " he would say in a whiny high pitch voice. He would then lean backwards and roll away on his back and spring up back onto his feet. He would quickly dust himself off and cross his arms as he looked towards Jack, eager to see if he would do anything productive.

What time was it? He checked his watch and grimaced...looks like he probably missed the tournament. He shrugged in minor annoyance, oh well...it wasn't that big of an issue to Jack anyways. When Enkidu asked if he was going to do anything, Jack simply responded with, "I would like another test....I have no time to dawdle with the specifics. Opponents and rivals are blasting through the ranks as we speak leaving me in the dust. I do not wish to remain at my level of power any longer". It was true, he presented set back after set back and he needed to catch up quickly, even if it meant skipping a few vital training procedures. Enkidu looked at Jack curiously and with a cocky chuckle he replied. "Oh? This sounds familiar... " He would begin to walk towards Jack and suddenly disappear and reappear behind him, he would bend over and whisper into his ear. "You're sounding an awful lot like Darion..." He would say in a blank tone while a wide grin would spread across his face. He would stand straight up and look down at Jack. "Wanting power like it was everything that mattered.Accept in your case it isn't... I keep an eye on people who are somehow tied to you. I got nothing better to do these days... " Suddenly he would whip his cloak around Jack. As the cloak passed over him all of Jack's weapons were in Enkidu's arms. "Do you have any hand to hand experience or knowledge of how to survive in the jungle?"

Yes Master Enkidu, I have been there and survived there....on multiple occasions". Jack didn't all of a sudden liked where this was going. The jungle for another test again? Wasn't there any other dangerous locations he can be sent to? He inwardly sighed, pretty much ignoring what he said about him and Darion. It doesn't matter how similar he and him were, cause the fact was that the two were still vastly different from each other. He sat their and waited for his inevitable, and probably eye rolling instructions on how he must go to the forest and kill some strange and gigantic beast."Onward to a sacred battlefield...where justification and limits are revealed...Tools of steel they rage they conquer...

He scoffs at Jack's cockiness. "There is a very fine line between survival and being sent out to kill something..." He say as he walked towards a box, he would place all of Jack's weapons and items that might help him in a box and looked back at him as he sat on top of it. "Lets face it kiddo... You wouldn't be here today if you could survive in the jungle alone... I watched your tests, the first one you were bit a very venomous snake and Darion managed to save you... Second test off the bat you were snagged by that snake and nearly eaten alive. If it wasn't for Darion jumping in and saving you you'd be snake chow... As for that spider? Well you got off lucky. I was expecting the biggest one to come up and crush you..." Enkidu looked at Jack under his mask and chuckled silently. " If you ever hope to surpass him in power you have to be in his shoes and know what hes going through." Enkidu would get up and grab Jack by his neck and lift him off the ground. They would both suddenly disappear. (Exit to forbidden forest.)
