The webbing wrapped around Hematite, jolting her before she phased into gas and let it pass through her and fall to the ground. In retaliation, she threw another flaming punch at the bug.

The blood shielded her again, but the caterpie still dropped to the floor, defeated. Lenore recalled Sheoldred, sending out Hell-Hoot. The noctowl cackled madly as he saw the haunter.
The noctowl's eyes began to glow a deep red, and a shimmering wall erected itself between the two pokemon.

Hematite stared at the shimmering wall a moment, wondering what it did.
"Never mind that, use Thunderpunch," Lyle ordered.
Hematite smiled broadly and drew back a fit again. This time it crackled with electricity before she shot it at her opponent.

The fist hit the wall and was slowed immensely. It still hurt, but not as much. Hell-Hoot flapped his wings, sending a dark wind at the haunter.

Hematite summoned bits of the dark wind to swirl closely around her.
