Arthur shook his head. "No, nothing bad." he looked over at Aalun and with a nod from her he cleared his throat and took a deep breath. "Firstly, Aalun and I would like to thank you for your help. Your knowledge of the area has been very helpful, not to mention your little tricks." he paused and tried to organize his thoughts. He'd had what he wanted to say last night and now it was all jumbled up. "Telaar, Aalun and I would like to invite you to join us. We know we realize that we're asking you to leave your home, and the life we're offering may not be a better one, but it would be different. You'd have a place, somewhere you're always welcome. You've shown to be a trustworthy and honest mare, two virtues we value very highly, and that you've got a lot to share from your experiences. I'm sure there are things we can teach you as well. Aalun is a master of horned combat and while I'm sure you know how to fight, she can help refine your skills if you so desire."
"We're not asking for an answer right away, it could be days from now, weeks, months!" Aalun said picking up where Arthur left off, "But we wanted to offer you the choice, and we won't think any less of you if you decline as well." she said with a nod.

"Offer me...to join you? Like a full herd? But there would only be three of us...are you looking for others as well?" Telaar asked, tilting her head and watching them. It was the first time she'd been offered such a proposition. Most accepted her help through the mountains then moved on. Sometimes without thanking her.
She glanced back up the mountainside quietly as the offer swam around in her head. She'd have to leave her mountain home, going who knows where in the world. What if they settled down somewhere too strange to adjust to? 'But if I accept...' she thought, 'I wouldn't be so alone all the time anymore.'
Telaar turned away from them, pacing back and forth along the water's edge. Aalun did say days, months, or whatever it took to accept. So that meant that the offer would still stand even if she declined.
"Well...uhm...where would you be going from here? The plains? The desert? Because the desert means you have to cross the mountain...and," she gave Arthur a pointed look, "you might have a hard time towards the top to be perfectly honest. I have no doubt you'd do it but--"

Arthur nodded. "That is the point of our wandering now, to find others to join us. You're hopefully just the first of many." he said with a nod. He then looked over at Aalun, they hadn't really decided where to go from there.
Aalun shook her head. "I don't think to the desert. I think we'll turn back west to the plains and forests we're slightly more familiar with, perhaps turn towards the coasts to see what can be found there." she said.
Arthur chuckled and scuffed a hoof against the grass. "I appreciate the concern, but I think I've climbed enough hills for the time being."

Telaar smiled brightly and nodded once more to them. "Yeah! Oh...oop...yeah, let's do it. Let's go explore the world and find others who want to come along too!" She bounded around the two happily, much like a young foal would.
"I'm ready to leave anytime you are. I really have nothing here of importance, no family or friends, so it's okay."

Aalun chuckled and nodded her head. "Whenever you're ready then Arthur." she said.
Arthur nodded and took a deep breath. It would be a long day what with scrambling back up and down those foothills, but by tonight they'd be back in the lowlands, in familiar territory. He'd probably have to listen to the mares titter about his stumbling all day, but it would be worth it. They'd gotten a start, and things could only get better from here on out right? He had to believe that anyway. They were counting on him to keep looking forward.
"Let's move out." he said turning to lead the way to whatever the future held for them.
