The following floors were bare of anything frightening. All of the company's Porygon-Z seemed to have sensed the calamity above and rushed themselves above. Thus, it was a completely clear run for the duo. Cetus slid her ID card wherever, shifting doors open, ignoring the cameras whose lights were blaring red, meaning their consciousness were restored. Those computer geeks were going to receive the full brunt of her anger when the mission was through. Eventually, she came upon the entrance/exit, and a breath of hope was inhaled into her lungs. With a swift slid, the key card slid into the panel, and thrust the outside air deep into the building.

Not caring for the slight chill, she raced herself straight across lane and through the security crossing. She hadn't even noticed the security guard had disappeared, either out for lunch or shamelessly checking out another gal's a**. Eventually, after running farther than she imagined, Cetus coiled herself into an alley just out of reflex. They were plentiful is Katarina and a safe haven for thieves out there. Panting deeply and sweating rivers, Cetus slipped her hand into the underside of her wig, and pulled both it and her flesh colored skull cap off, revealing a tussle of green locks kept up in a bun.

"Hey, you're all right?" she extended to her partner, smearing the back of her hand across her forehead. Her panic diminished than. For now, the mission was a slight success, for they obtained their main goal. That's all that mattered.

She panted as she ran down the steps, keeping up with her partner and away from the Porygon-Z. The prototype was heavy in her arms but she had totted worse weight about. Cetus was thankfully fast with her card but the lights were coming on. Alexandria sprung out into the cooler air outside the building and followed Cetus down the security lane and into an alley.

Leaning against the wall, he nodded, relaxing as all traces of the first personality was pushed away. "Yes," Lex muttered, taking a moment to collect himself. He smiled at Cetus. "Like your hair. It's pretty." He licked his lips clean of the strawberry gloss. "Take it for a moment?" He questioned, offering the prototype so he could change about the outfit.

"Thanks," Cetus simpered, reaching into her waist bag and pulling out her pearl earrings. She slipped her trademark accessory back on than extended her hands to the prototype. "Sure," she said as she caught the hunk of machinery in her grip and gently settled it to the ground.

She turned herself from her partner, not caring for modesty as she removed her sleeveless top and ventured into her bag for her usual blouse and skirt combo. After a few minutes, the grunt was fixed back into her usual attire. She tapped the tip of her shoe to the asphalt of the alley, fitting it snug, and threw everything back into her carrier.

"Should we store this thing somewhere?" she asked, nudging her chin at the metal hunk. "I'm in no mood to return to HQ with it just yet, especially with the tech branch lighting our asses on fire with whatever they did."

Lex ran his fingers through his short red hair, loosening out the hair extensions leaving his hair short cropped and gelled flat. He folded the hair band and twisted them all up before pulling down the crop pants and did a quick check of the dark leggings. Satisfied there was no tears, he took off the vest, folded it and wrapped it around his waist. The yellow top was sleeveless and that should do for now.

"I'm not in any rush. Would you care to take it to my hotel room? It would give me time to get this dye out of my hair and we can talk." Lex looked over the prototype and poke it with his shoe in displeasure. "If they blame us for this... I'm going rogue."

"Sounds like a plan," Cetus replied as she shifted her bag over her shoulder and bent as the waist to pick the prototype up. At Lex's following comment, she couldn't contain her chuckle. "Man, I'll join you," she agreed, fluttered her gaze down to the disgusting item she cradled endearingly like a babe. "This damn thing put us through enough trouble."

Shea appeared at the mouth of the alley, a bit scuffed, but all around all right. "Ah," Cetus breathed, smiling to the feline. "Glad to see you made it out alive, dear," she said to the Liepard. "I didn't want to leave you, but . . . y'know."

"Mrow," the Liepard mewed, twisting her face away. She was a bit miffed, but understood. Her job came first and all.

"Shea is welcomed as well," Lex added and motioned Cetus to follow him. "It isn't much but I can at least offer Shea some water." He smiled at the Liepard and started for the discount hotel he was paying for.

It was a bit of a walk, and was a ugly hotel. The basic two stories, painted dingy blue and chipping in places. It didn't have security camera and the patron's tended to be seedy and closed mouth, so it suited him well enough. No one was going to go running for the cops. "What does that thing even do?"

Shea's lids fluttered graciously towards Lex as she followed after him, her tail a pendulum amongst the wind.

Cetus hefted up the machine and trailed behind the two, slowed by the weight of it. Upon reaching the motel, Cetus glanced about, taking in the atmosphere. It held a cheap, but comfortable aura. Perfect for a vigilante.

"I . . . really don't know," Cetus admitted with a huff. "Whatever it does, it better be worth the labor put in to retrieving it."

"Hopeful. It is suppose to pay my rent for the month." Lex unlocked the door, pushing it open with his foot and put the key back into his pants. He lifted the prototype from Cetus arms and walked into the room, setting it on a chair, not trusting the rickety table.

"The bed is clean if you want to sit on it," he called and opened the mini fridge, getting out a bottle of water and poured it in a tin bowl, setting it on the floor for the Liepard. "Anyhow, I'm going to get change. You are welcome to anything thing in the fridge. It isn't much... mostly fruit and a bit of yogurt."

He motioned to the fridge, humming slightly. "Just shut the door if you leave, it automatically locks."

Cetus was silently thankful to have the darn thing taken from her. Following up Lex's advice, she maneuvered over to the bed, and plopped herself down onto it. Her eyes followed her cat Pokemon approach the bowl and lap with mirth at its contents, lifting her head and licking the residue from her chin when she was fully finished. Trotting up to her trainer, Shea curled up near the woman's heeled feet, prepared for a catnap after her fighting.

"Nah, I'm fine," Cetus admitted. "I ate something before the mission and its still carrying its weight."

"'k, well, I'm going to get this dye out of my hair." Lex hummed, picking out some clothing from the drawers and walked into the bathroom shutting the door firmly on the older woman. He rather not have her peeking on him.

About forty minutes later, Lex had his traditional curling hair but it was a shade of pink. Damn dye. He pulled on his favorite pair of loose
comfortable jeans and dark comfortable long sleeve linen turtleneck. He wavered on the contacts but took out the green pieces of plastic, rubbing his eyes and blinking slightly. Ugh. They were necessary considering most people didn't have one eye purple and one gray in color. It was to noticeable not to cover up.

He walked out, wondering if Cetus would still be in his room.

Cetus's patience wore to paper thin as she waited for her partner to finish in the bath. Five minutes before Vertigo emerged from the showers, Cetus had taken her leave, calling her Pidgeot to come pick her up. Despite the rudeness, she left it to Lex to deliver the prototype and take any heat from the hire-ups. Their mission was half a success, at least.

Lex glanced about and sighed. It seemed he had taken a bit long in the shower, but his hair had ended up as pink. He frowned at the hunk of machinery, and the secondary pokeball with the stolen pokemon. Well, he was going to sleep and then get rid of them both tomorrow.
