While the trainers had gotten two people out, two more people fell into the pit. Lizzie couldn't believe that their luck was this bad. Next time, people should really not leave the group without a ladder or something. She sigh and reached out for George.
And fell into the hole herself. She really shouldn't have pushed her luck like that.

Oh thank goodness someone had noticed she'd fallen. Soon there were helpful folks reaching down. She gave George a rueful grin as one attempt failed and a try for her pit neighbor wound up with him joining her. "Fancy seeing you here."
Soon after though a rescuer made contact with her and with some work she managed to get out. She sat beside Peanut for a moment catching her breath and making sure she wasn't injured.

He chuckled, "Well nice to see you guys again. We should really stop meeting like this." He shook his head as he looked around at the other ones that just fell in.

"Agreed." Lizzie was certain that her bruises were developing bruises at this point. "All in favor of not following Rockets into traps, say aye."
Sighing, she looked up at Tyg, frustrated that as soon as she saved someone she ended up in this hole herself. "Could you possibly find more people to help us?"

Keria chuckled a bit at George's joke. "I'll say, People might start thinking we're having fun doing this." Reaching down she tried to pull him up.

(Trying for Shaun *slaps forehead*)
As soon as George was up out of the hole, he reached down for Shaun and as he tried to pull him up he slipped back into the hole. "Well I guess you weighed a little more than I had expected. At least its shaded here." He sighs and leaned against the wall.

After being helped up by Keria, Lizzie did the really dumb thing and tried to save Shaun from the hole.

"Aye," groaned Shaun as someone else fell in. "I'd say let's not follow anyone anywhere, but that won't get us the stole pokemon back."

Tyg stood and but for a twinge in her ankle all seemed well with her. But now would be rescuers and her actual rescuer were stuck. She reached in her pack wondering if she still had any rope and pulled out a rather sorry frayed piece. It might hold for one person... maybe. By that time her rescuer was out again. So she tried for one of the others.
And ended up back in again. "Hi again," she sighed.

Shaun scrambled out with Lizzie's help. "Thanks," he told her, then glanced back at the pit. He was having the most horrible luck with it, but so was everyone else and that didn't stop them...with a sigh, he reached down to try helping Tyg back up.

Shaun just could not get a good grip, but at least he didn't end up in the pit again. He moved to another side of the pit that looked somewhat more stable and reached down for George.
(should we make a chart of who's in now?)

"Ok, obviously we're not getting anywhere with the same people so I'm going to see if I can recruit some help." Lizzie sighed. "Be back soon."
She didn't really want to leave people behind but it might be the only choice they had. She ran as fast as she could towards the camp, despite the protests from her aching body.
