Az felt relief. He knew how it felt to have an injury to the leg. There was a faint scar on his left front leg just below the white sock line so it wasn't very noticable. He would try to avoid swamps from now on. "You're welcome. Not an adventure if you are hurt."
He looked away while standing in place. That sounded dumb. Just dumb. He wished he could retract that comment. He didn't mean it in a poor way. But if she was injured he would have to take her back already. Now he didn't know what to say to make it better. "I.. wouldn't want you hurt.. I mean.."

Listening to him Tejina laughs not realizing that she is doing it out loud. This is the first time since before she became so timid that she has laughed in front of someone. Once she noticed that she laughed out loud she clears her throat. "That is ok I knew what you meant." She points out as she blushes a bit. How could she do that and laugh in front of someone she hasn't known for long. Although she had to admit that he was sweet and this was nice. Not being alone and such.

He wasn't sure what to say now. If he opened his muzzle again who knew what would come out. He just nodded his head. She understood his meaning at least. He motioned with his head and started walking again. Even in silence he was feeling pretty comfortable in her presence. His mind wasn't even on his job. The warmth of the sun peeking through the trees.. the slight breeze.. it was nice to relax for a day. His tongue brushed against the bit in his mouth while they wandered on.
When she wasn't looking he would sweep his head down and pluck a pink flower that looked dainty in comparison to the big stallion carrying it. He nudged close to her side and tucked it quickly into her mane. Stepping away he smirked and carried on.

Seeing him pick a pink flower out of the corner of her eye and then feels him place it into her mane. Blushing as she looks away and at the ground. "Th..thank you." Not only did he save her from tripping and maybe hurting herself. He gave her a flower. No one has ever given her a flower before. This made her feel so wonderful. That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her. Maybe being timid was stopping her from ever feeling this with another. No oh no that can't be right maybe it isn't due to her timidness. But because of who he is. That might be it.
After all he is just this sweet. Then the thought of him being this sweet to other mares made her a bit sad and her heart felt tight. Wait what.. What was going on? Why was she sad at the thought? Why did her heart hurt? Oh no.. Was she in love with him. But they just met. No no no this can't be happening. She shakes her head. The flower staying in place as she looks over at him and smiles. Well yes it can happen. It is happening to her. This stallion is the one she is falling for and maybe she is falling for him because of how he acts with her.
Although she knows not if he is like this with all mares. But it makes her feel special in more ways then one. It is the first time in her life that she has felt this way. That is what is making it such a deep feeling or so she believes as she sighs a bit looking straight in front of her. She did start to continue walking when he did so she is still side by side with him. Something inside of her screaming at her to become a filly again. To run about in a playful manner. Ignoring it as it sounds silly to do right now. But the thought is nice. She hasn't had a thought of becoming a filly once again in a long time.
Giggling at her own thoughts as she can't help it. A filly. Running about and jumping over nothing comes to mind when she thinks of being a filly. Why was she.. This timid mare thinking of becoming what she once was? Was it all because of this stallion? Did he really make her feel so at ease that the past didn't seem so far away. That time long ago when she wasn't so timid. Was it this easy to over come this timidness? This was a feeling that overwhelmed her but in a good way. She had noticed it, good. He wanted her to feel happy while with him. The day was slipping away though so he quietly turned them around and traveled with her back to her meadow. He hoped that the good distance they went would help her open up and see how nice it is to leave your comfort zone now and then. When they were back where he knew she felt safest he turned to her. Bowing his head he wished her good night and a promise of a return visit soon.
