Shun paused for a moment as he reached one of the upper branches. Taking in a deep breath, he leaped away to one further away, that was also lower. Hopefully the thing will not snap upon impact. He was high enough now that such a fall would hurt a fair bit.
The Reaper let out a grunt as he hit the branch, grasping onto it as it hit his chest. With a grimace, he pulled himself up and decided to stop here in the meantime.

Kettil followed along after the other Reaper until there seemed to be a bit of a pause in activity. He decided not to weigh down the branch Shun was currently on and leapt for branch slightly higher and behind Shun. Kettil caught it with his hand and swung rather hard forward. He used the momentum to try and arch upward and onto the branch.
He succeeded but almost lost his balance which would have resulted in a backward fall. Stubbornly he kept a hold of the branch as one arm flailed as if to try and keep his balance or at least grab hold of some of the bark on the trunk, "Woah there!"

After he had come to a halt, Shun turned to see Kettil nearly falling out of the tree. A slip here would be incredibly bad, so he reached out to try and see if he could steady the guy, though he was on a different branch than himself.
"Watch it," he warned.
The Reaper then took a moment to look around at their surroundings. There wasn't really anywhere else to go, aside from down.
But while a fall would be bad at this height, a well executed jump would be fine. Or if they jumped down into something that would break their fall. Like that rather large snow bank below.
"Aim for the snowbank."
That was all he said before he jumped on out of the tree, doing a leap of faith right into the snow.

Kettil uttered a soft breathless thank you as Shun managed to settle him despite their positioning. He was still grinning from ear to ear despite the danger, the challenge of this all was rather exhilarating for the Muut. He didn't think he had to tell Shun how he felt since it was rather obvious.
There was a short affirmative nod to the Grim as he first waited for Shun to take the leap before he followed just to make sure he could accurately aim for the bank without landing on top of Shun in the bargain. Once was enough, thank you very much.
Puff of snow and a cheerful 'whoot!' from the Muut signified a successful landing.
Cold but successful.

The snow was cold for certain, but it did well to break his fall. Shortly after he had landed, he heard the light thud of Kettil landing nearby. Judging by that 'whoot' he heard, the boy was unharmed in his landing as well. Shun pushed himself up to his feet and brushed off the snow from his body.
"You made it down in one piece," he commented, looking down towards the Muut.

Kettil essentially sprawled out in the snow where he laid and began to make a snow-angle type figure as he stared up at Shun, small puffs of smoke exiting his lips, "Yep! That was fun. We should do more stuff like that together, Shun!"
Pretty much a call of 'teach me, Master, I desire to learn!'

Shun blinked at Kettil. He had seen Mitsu do something similar once, but he still didn't understand its purpose.
"Of course. It's a good way to train," he agreed. Well. A little less on the 'fun' part. He didn't get that. But he did enjoy this sort of thing.

Kettil did a little fistpump skyward spraying a bit of snow about in doing so, "Yeah!" Then there was a small pause as he got to his feet and stared at Shun.
"You hungry? Wanna go catch some lunch before we go our separate ways?" Kettil asked quietly, "My treat, since you showed me something new."

"Sure. We may as well," Shun nodded, before raising a brow as Kettil offered to pay. Eh. Why not. He just shrugged it off before placing his hands into his pockets. With another nod, he began to head on towards the town.

Kettil followed along after he dusted off the snow from his backside, just pretty much falling into a quiet attitude along side his more solemn friend. When they found a place to eat, he chattered and made quiet observations about this and that.
It was a good lunch and Kettil seemed glad for Shun's companionship.
