Venezia appears before Hexynia's throne, bowing to show his respect to the fellow Goddess. "Heheh... it is not often I entertain other Gods..." The musing was over as quickly as it began though, his expression serious for once. "I must speak to you about the God of Darkness."

Hexynia frowns and leans forward a bit, eyeing the hole in Venezia's clothes from Antar's attack earlier (I dunno if he left the shadow dagger in or not so lol) and flicks her tail. "So... am I right in assuming that it wasn't that... Cursed... that did that to you then, but that b*****d of the shadows? Although... I suppose, before we get too into detail, we should probably wait and see if Tyche will join us as well, since I extended him an invitation..."

Venezia nodded. "You assumed correctly. It pains me to side with our enemy, Hexynia. But it has gotten to the point the God of Darkness' antics worry me." The Carnival God shrugged and looked around. "I believe the extraterrestrial went back to bed. Something about hibernation."

Hexynia's lip curls up in a silent snarl, the flame on her tail growing hotter and brighter in her rage. "He outright attacked you... Had you been less that what you are or your power any weaker, that might have killed you, wouldn't it? Were you taunting him or already fighting, or did he do this while you were focusing elsewhere? I... do not trust these Cursed at all... They make my skin itch just being near them.... However... if that b*****d of shadows is going out of his way to target those that aren't even doing anything to him at the time they are targeted, then yes, something needs to be done..." Her tail snaps, knocking a couple skulls loose from a stack near her throne. "Well.. perhaps it is for the best that Tyche not get involved in this. It seems so far that as long as he is not dealing with the Cursed or anyone else, he and his followers have so far remained unharassed by anyone." She taps her chin in thought for a moment. "I will... join you. I will watch our backs, however, when the Cursed are around, because I cannot trust them...."

Venezia sighed. "I had done some investigating and found that he had worked with others to attack my carnies during our first war. I do not know what I had done to upset the God. A simple exchange of banter? If that is what caused it I consider him thin-skinned." He waved a sleeve before looking at the hole in his tunic. "Again, a few words, coward and fool, were said, and before I knew it, impaled I was~"
The God sounded amused for a moment before grimacing at the thought. "It is not a laughing matter though. If he is to attack me, then who is to say he will not attack a mortal?"
He bowed again before Hexynia. "I understand your concern about my choice in ally... I myself am wary... I have reprimanded one of my own carnies for their actions prior to this... but desperate times call for desperate measures."

Hexynia frowns deeply at this, chewing on a claw slightly before standing up and stepping over to bow before Venezia. "Considering it is very likely that he may very well turn on a mortal, I will side with you and be your ally in this. So long as you and yours do not cause harm to me and mine, I'll keep the alliance even after this is done with. I will only make a... temporary... alliance with those Cursed. Once this is over, they and I will probably be back at eachothers' throats. I know the b*****d of shadows has had his pets attack my own, which is why I am against him in the first place." Here she frowns again, eyes narrowing. "So, yes, as long as you and yours do not harm myself or my followers, I will consider us allies in truth. Do we have a deal, Carnival God?"

Venezia smiled and nodded. "Deal. I do not plan to turn against any God other than that of Darkness - unless if crossed again. But I do not foresee any trouble between us." He flicked his wrist and made a deep blue flower appear, offering it to her. "My heartfelt thanks for hearing me out, Hexynia."

Hexynia gives a slight nod to that, blinking at the offered flower and accepting it uncertainly. "In general I do not have a problem with anyone unless they cause harm to my followers. However, I believe that anyone who sides with Antar will be added to the list with him and the Cursed as enemies of mine. You are most welcome, Venezia. I hope we are doing the right thing by siding with those things. In any case, we can watch each other's backs around them I suppose."

Listen up ya'll!
Hexynia has ordered a temporary cease-fire on any Cursed that are under Morgana's command. That means that you are not to attack any Cursed that follow Morgana. Any OTHER Cursed are fair game for now. Hexynia has teamed up with Venezia and the Cursed Morgana in a battle against the god of Darkness, Antar. Keep in mind, however, that once this battle is over with, Hexynia will be back to fighting ALL of the Cursed, so don't think this means you can go and make babies or friendships with any of the Cursed. Do not attack any followers of Venezia as Venezia and Hexynia have a permanent alliance. So long as Venezia (and his followers) doesn't attack Hexynia (and her followers) and vice-versa, the alliance will stay. Followers of Antar, however, are as fair game as the Cursed not following Morgana's command. Should anyone attack any of Venezia's people, Hexynia WILL ban you from her service and her temple. Should anyone start good relations with any of the Cursed besides helping them to fight against Antar, Hexynia WILL ban you from her service.

At first he used it for protection, but he was quickly swallowed by the power of holding someone's figurative life in his hands, and now he likes to do it just to watch his victims crumble into a sobbing, quivering mass, their worst secrets brought to light. He has no use for a deity who would have him stop his fun, but he also sees Hexynia as strong and powerful, and he hopes that with her favor, he can continue, grow stronger, and also be somewhat protected, since, as his battered condition indicates, shadows can only protect you so much, and those few wily enough to seek him out are not in the most forgiving of moods when they find him. Beside himself with the relief and excitement that the one he wished to serve had taken enough of an interest in him, Bentanger smoothly hid the rush of emotion and nodded his head once, not quite able to quell the eagerness in the motion. "Yes Mistress, I understand. The secrets of your allies and faithful servants will not be sought by me." He bowed his head so low that his ears almost brushed the temple floor. "Please permit me in the days to come to show you my worth. I will do anything you demand of me."

He relates to Hex, being a hellhound himself, and wouldn't think of following anyone else. He may be a little simple (and puppy) in mind, with limited speech, but he won't hesitate following any of her orders, especially if it involves the words "Sic 'em, boy" XD
