Grrel(On Eowyn)
Grrel watched in amused affection as she watched Kioda attempt to get down a and fall flat on her face. She decided that it would be better to go down to make sure Kioda didn't get hurt by the newcomer approaching them. So as the dovaa and black one hugged, Grrel flew elegantly down and landed next to Kioda, giving her an affectionate nuzzle. Deciding to take advantage of the apparent peace, she ignored the words of the black one to stare at the Dovaa. Now that she was up close, Grrel was amazed at how similar this man was to a Drakeinian... it was as he could have been one himself, mind you the horns were different and his coloring not as bright and vivid, but still.... Her vivid purple eyes looked appraisingly at the Dovaa; he was tall, and well-muscled. I was right; he is too strong for me to beat, and he could probably beat Kadryn up too, she thought in the back of her mind.
"Hmm, did you know that you like like a Drakeinian, it is almost like you and a Drakeinian could be siblings..." She spoke that thought out loud before turning her scaled head towards the black one... was this an Oblivionite? Yes it was! Grrel began to circle the dark one, looking her over form all sides and deciding she rather liked the coloring. Purple was such a good color... and so pretty in the long hair that this one had..
"Fascinating, absolutely fascinating! I've never seen an Oblivionite before... You really don't have eyes do you? How do you see? Can you see? Is it true that you are souless? " Her tail lashed eagerly as her curious mind spilled forth questions that she joust had to know the answer to. Kadryn had been quite willing to answer her question, but his was an Oblivonite so maybe this girl wouldn't be as forthright as Kadryn was...

This was the best news Esmeralda could have heard, Marcus’s degree was like a wishing star fallen from the sky to land right in the palm of her hand. More dragons! Esme could barely contain her happiness, much less gushing about how she wanted to be bonded so badly. The only thing that truly bothered her was the rumors of stolen eggs, now that was quite unacceptable. But like everyone else, Esmeralda felt compelled to visit and see these for her very own. Plus, this would be great for her research! Dragons were dragons after all, and this would be a great opportunity to get one talking to her.
So after her studies, Esmeralda headed towards Eowyn. Thankfully as she went into the dune sea she didn’t meet anyone until she stumbled upon a small group, and then she was excited because it was the first time she was meeting the Drakein. There was also another Dovaa and Oblivionite amongst the group, so she approached them first. Tho it seemed like one of the bigger Drakein had taken a keen interest in the Oblivionite, so at least she’d be able to go unnoticed for a bit longer. Esme was happy simply observing anyways.

Thea - Serenia
Thea's eyes looked confused as Kadryn spoke. The woman was very reliable for information and she liked that about her. Still, the news she brought really did make Thea wonder.
"One moment they say battle them. One moment they say make them pets. What I want to know is, why the change of heart?" The little girl asked as she shrugged. No she didn't care one way or another. If a baby followed her, she would deal with it then but taking an egg? Too much work.
"I say let the idiots who try get what's coming to them. Why waste your time?" She asked looking in the direction others had run in.
What made her turn again was the VERY large shadow that appeared next to them. Blue must have been the requirement for that meeting as Thea watched the figure of a large Drakein land near them. First reaction was to be impressed. She had never been that close to one.
Second reaction: "Others want to steal from THAT?" she asked looking over at Kadryn and then back at the Drakein. "One, we have names. Please don't suddenly lump us in with everyone else. Two, you don't hurt me, I don't hurt you. Simple?"
Thea gave another shrug and looked towards Kadryn to confirm. "Third, how the heck are people getting close enough to the nests? Are you all leaving them?"
Thea, not one to be scared easy. Her mother would be having a heartattack if she saw her daughter standing before a Drakein talking to it like some random Orderite on the street. Heck, worse. She was being her normal blunt self. Leave it to Thea to really not care about politics and what the leaders said.

Kioda - Eowyn
Stretching her legs out as far as she could, Kioda wiggled in place. Her legs shifting about in an attempt to gain footing on the ground. Struggling to turn herself back up into a standing position. Her wings made it hard to maneuver from her back in the current position. Her tail flicking playfully back and forth. Snorting again she eyed Sparky. "Big boom!"
The approaching Oblivionite startled the Ysali Keindred, just enough for her to jump to her feet. Where had she come from? Tilting her head as she scanned her over, and thinking nothing more of her she wiggled her rump. Leaping to the side with a chirp in Sparky's direction. Crooning when a sudden nuzzle appeared beside her from Grrel. Once again turning back to the younger Kiandri Drakein. Grrel was obviously preoccupied with the current two legger's. Well enough, that meant Kioda was within safe grounds. No silly creature was going to risk attacking her now.
Lifting her head Kioda pranced in a circle around Sparky. Inspecting him as she moved. Her tail lifting off the round as she flapped her wings twice. "Kioda play!"

Samril & Sparky - Eowyn
Samril grinned at Elleth. "You've grown as well," he commented, trying not to stare at her chest as he stated this fact. Though older, his hormones seemed to just be catching up and pointing out things like that to him. A bit inconvenient at times, or so Samril felt. Though... he certainly wouldn't mind seeing Tana again...
Elleth's question drew Samril out of his daydreaming and he shook his head, as much an answer as to clear it. "No, no. She was just worried about Sparky there..." His voice trailed off as he noticed that the Kiandri Keindred wasn't where he'd been. It took just a moment to spot his bonded and he grinned.
Then Grrel spoke up. "A Drakeinian?" Samril asked, thinking. "Well, Marcus said that we are like cousins, our races." And then the Drakein was focused upon his old friend.
Sparky's tail swished happily as Kioda got up and was eager to play. "Play! Play!" he happily chirped as he lowered his front half invitingly. His bonded and the others were talking and that was boring. Play was much better!!

Rhazes - Eowyn
Above the small gathering group, a large dark Drakein soared, blocking out the sun momentarily as he banked for a landing. He ignored the younger Dovaa in her hiding place as he studied the others briefly before landing upon the perch the Kiandri Drakein had just recently vacated.
Just as the Diabi Drakein's hindlegs touched down, a swirl of purple and green appeared, two faces appearing from the swirling colors before settling into two small shadowy skulls that took their place over the shoulders of a purple, reptilian-looking humanoid.
The toothy mouth was twisted in a leer as the male gazed down upon the group. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" He bit out, glaring at the Kiandri Dovaa for a moment. He knew of this one. This was the one who had started all this trouble for the Drakein. This one deserved to die! Hatred poured out of his body as he gazed upon this offender. If this one had only left that egg be then this whole thing wouldn't have happened!

Kadryn (Serenia)
Kadryn was pleasantly pleased with Thea, at least this was one Orderite who wasn't going to go out stealing eggs. She was about to respond when she caught a glimpse of a large blue Drakein approaching. Reading her mace just in case, Kadryn waited for it to either attack or speak. She listened to him and Thea with amusement. This one was much larger and had a.. well a masculine air about him. She really loved his scale patterns too, swirly and beautiful; she wondered if she could get him to pose for her while she drew him... Kadryn laughed out loud at Thea's words and reactions, this little one was such a spitfire! She didn't show fear even when a large Drakein landed so near her.
"Heh, yes, they do try to steal from them. Silly of them, especially since it's mostly Apprentices trying right now and they just aren't ready to take on one much less two Drakein's by themselves." She smirked with amusement before turning to the Drakein. "What happened was that our leaders lied, they said one thing to the Drakein leaders when they were approached, and then they told us to go out stealing eggs to turn you all into weapons for our pointless war." Her smile was gone and the last bit came out in a growl. Kadryn saw nothing wrong with fighting and gaining power, but stealing a child and enslaving it left a bad taste in her mouth. As did her people's insistence that they were the 'good guys' and were fighting 'evil' when all they were doing was fighting other people cause of an outdated religious purpose. The older she got, the less she liked the war and the stupid hatred that came with it.
Shouldering her mace, she nodded to the Drakein, "I'm Kadryn and this is Thea, what do you go by?"

Anodyne - Serenia
A large deep pink Firani Drakein flies across the skies above Serenia. Swooping down low, she flashes past the tall Ysali Dovaa woman and the bright orange and blue hybrid with his bonded before flying off slowly, projecting an air about her that seemed to say follow me.
Flying slowly, she ends up near the group with a young Drakein and several young Orderites, one of which is hidden. Coming to rest upon a prominent rock, the crimson Drakein flares her wings and fire flares up to wrap around her body. A form, tall and beautiful, emerges from the fires. The flames flicker out as suddenly as they appeared, and the strange woman smiles and nods in Greeting, her scales and ear crystals sparkling in the sun.
"Good day, young ones. I see that you are peaceful and willing to talk to others. Just what I need. I have a proposition to make to you..."

Rosetta ~ Serenia
Rosetta's heart almost burst through her chest when crimson flames sprouted very close to her hiding place. She watched a beautiful creature emerge from them unharmed, scales glimmering dazzlingly in the light of the fire. Just as they had appeared, the flames disappeared to reveal what she guessed was a female drakien. Her guess was confirmed when the elegant speech of the Drakien left her mouth. Rosetta stood slowly and moved silently behind a tree that was closer to the female Drakien. Rosetta was highly curious about the "proposition" that this Drakien was going to make.

When the sun blinked for the briefest moment, Esmeralda covered her eyes and looked up. There next few moments were like something out of a book, the swirl of colors, the odd looking figure and it spoke… Esme blinked a few times, trying to see if maybe she was day dreaming or the heat was making her delusional. He seemed to be staring the Kiandri Dovaa down, so at least she was still going unnoticed for now thank the gods because it looked angry. Real angry, and with that kind of look, Esme pitied whoever would be on the receiving end of his anger.

Samril & Sparky - Eowyn
Samril's attention was drawn away from Elleth as a shadow passed over the group. He glanced up, shading his eyes as the purple Drakein banked for a landing and the sun glared down upon them once more. The Dovaa stared in awe as the Drakein disappeared into a swirl of green and purple, the faces a bit creepy. He was so focused on those faces that it took him a moment to realize that the Drakein had turned into a humanoid. Was this one of those Drakeinians?
Whatever it was, it was glaring right at him. Samril gulped, wondering just what he'd done to make that thing look at him in such a manner. He found himself taking a step back without even realizing it, the hatred was so strongly pouring from this stranger.
"Uh... wh-who are you?"
Sparky could feel the fear from his Bonded and scampered to the Dovaa's side, pressing his head against the boy in reassurance. This meanie Drakeinian was not going to hurt his Bonded!!!

Kadryn was startled by the sudden appearance of this.. Drakein? That... transformed? How ...odd. At her words Kadryn knew that this strange lady was not a danger.
"What type of proposition?", she asked with an eyebrow raised. No way was she gonna agree to anything unless she knew what it was about...

Anodyne smiled at the blue Orderites words. This one was probably the only one here that would offer any harm. All the others, including the one ion hiding, were too young to even have a weapon. Good. Young enough that they shouldn't be too hard to convince to help her people. If she could convince the oldest girl, than the younger ones would mos likely follow suit. "My proposition is one of peace and knowledge." She stepped down off her rock and walked towards the small group confidently. while the blue girl was the only one here who posed any sort of threat, she knew that she could take them all on.
"I'm not sure if you know of our.. agreement that we were to have with your leaders? Well, I my self went to talk to Aevah, and she promised to be an ally. But her words to her people were that of an enemy instead." Anodyne shook her head in disgust. How was a woman like Aevah, known for fairness and honesty, able to lie like that? Was the call for power that could tip the balance of their war so strong that it had warped her mind? Probably...
"So instead of going to her again, I've decided to come to her people instead. Come to those who looked willing to work towards peace together. I need allies, from all the races, to join together and halt the stealing of eggs so that my people's children do not get forced into the enslavement of the bond." She looked at the group before her. "You might wish to sit down, the tale I'm about to tell you is of our history, of how we came to be and how we have survived for so long...."
... She tells the tale of the Lore that is on the first page of this thread...
As Anodyne wrapped up her people's history she ended with a statement.
"And for so long we have hidden away hoping that the bond was forever broken and that we could e free for ever, but fearing that should we ever be found out, we would be enslaved once more. So, I ask of you to go to your people, talk to them, ask that they see us as people and not tools or weapons to be used in your wars. That you go and help stop the theft of our eggs, our children. I know that you may not be able to convince anyone, but I will take all the help I can get. I only hope that you all can become my people's allies and that we can work together towards a world of peace and freedom."
At the end of this speech, she nodded to her fellow Drakein and returned to her Drakein form and flew off into the sky, leaving the small group behind to contemplate her words.

Rosetta ~ Serenia
Rosetta moved slightly so she had a better view of the Drakein and listened attentively to her story. Deeply moved by the words that left her mouth, Rosetta thought back on the tomes and studies her father had conducted on the noble creatures. She knew that she had little to no influence on her peers, and knew that it was because of her trouble conversing with them, but she resolved to fix her mindset of the beautiful creatures, and promised herself she would do whatever she could to follow her orders.
She watched the human-ish form return into her Drakein form and fly away. She leaned her back on the tree trunk and pondered the Drakein's story again, marveling at the exotically spun tale.

Rhazes: He stood on top of the cliff and roared down at the group below. He was not happy and he let them know it. His words to the Drakeins in the group were cruel and he considered them weak and traitors for not combating the Egg theives.
He mocked and ranted at the Magescians and any bondeds he saw. They were all weak and worthless! Too weak to do anythign other than steal eggs to gain power! He went of for quite some time, shouting down any one who dared to trya nd speak against him. Eventually a Drakein flew down to him and said somthing to him. The words were ripped away in the wind so only he and Rhazes heard.
Rhazes glared down at the patheic ones below him.
"I've got more improtant matters to attend too! Next time we meet, you had better be prepared!" Prepared for what, you don't know, but it couldn't be good.
