As he approached the group, Rory readjusted the straps of his backpack, pulling the bag up a little higher. There by his side was his newest acquisition, a Zorua, sniffing at the ground. The man had his binoculars secured around his neck and his camera stored in his pocket.
He smiled as he took in the sight of the group of people and pokemon around and nod to whoever was nearest to him, "Hey."

Osmond blinked. "Oh, no. I don't mind at all. Really. It's just . . . Try not to scare Marlo. He's a bit of a 'fraidy-Meowth, aha." However, Osmond couldn't help his interest in Shaun's profession. "So, what exactly d'ya do? Snap pictures and sell them to magazines or something? Or is it something like a hobby?" A hobby, something the officer desperately needed, seemed like a farfetched idea. Still . . . It didn't sound half-bad if Shaun was doing it for fun.
Marlo waggled an arm in his owner's direction. "all of those fruit? Parting one -- or all -- wouldn't be a crime, would it?>"

Cara had finally arrived at the meeting point and was just slightly surprised to see so many other trainers there as well. She turned to her pokemon, a large Arcanine named Tiger, and scratched him behind his ears. "Hm...it looks like it's going to be a full on search party for this pokemon, huh Tiger?" Cara asked him. Tiger chuffed his agreement as he too looked around, surveying all the other people and pokemon around them. Cara was hoping to find a friendly face that she recognized but so far, none rang a bell.
Cara couldn't wait for the new adventure to start and from the looks of it, neither could Tiger. They had to be careful though. When legendary pokemon were involved, nefarious people were probably going to be looking for it just like the rest of them. ((btw, for faster replies, quote me))

Shaun grinned at Osmond. "Oh, no need to worry about scaring him. I'm used to photographing wild pokemon, who I would really not want to startle. That's one of the great things about digital cameras; a silent shutter and a variety of settings for all kinds of lighting mean you often never need to use a flash. More often than not, the subject never needs to know I'm doing anything beyond holding this thing up," he said, waggling the camera.
"And I do a bit of both. I sell pictures to publications freelance, or I can be hired out to photograph events or such. I'm Shaun Rowland, by the way, and if you ever need a photographer, I'd be happy to oblige." He pulled a business card out of one of his many pockets and offered it to the man. "When I'm not doing any of that, I just wander and photograph any pokemon I come across, for my own interest. I'm hoping to put together a photo book of the various pokemon in the region someday, so I have particular interest in wild pokemon, or ones caught here."
<"Nope, its no trouble at all to carry them!"> Salvo answered, lifting his head proudly. <"I carry a lot more than that all the time. I carry my trainer just about everywhere.">

"Ah, that's great I really don't know much about watchers and stuff, so it's all good to know he won't be scared witless, aha." Osmond extended a palm and retrieved the business card with slight interest, scanning over it with a pair of quirked eyebrows. "Hey, pleasure, man. I'm Osmond Willis, officer." Feeling as if secondary evidence was in order like the watcher's, the middle-aged man slipped out his wallet, creased the stiff piece of paper near several others, and flashed his badge. "If you're ever run into trouble in Katarina, just call 911." The cop chuckled, flipping the wallet shut and pocketing it.
"Right now, I'm off duty, and having a bit of a vacation." Osmond added after Shaun's tidbit. "Not really doing something major as yourself. Hey, when you finish up your book though, note me for a copy. I'd like to see your work."
<"O-Oh, really,>" Marlo mused, never taking his eyes off Salvo's fruit. ""

Clyde walked amongst the group nonchalantly, pretending to play with a pokeball absent-mindedly. Here he was posing as Simon Tahoh, a young trainer with no particular goals, maybe complete the gym circuit in the region, though it was very small...Like one gym small. Hopefully no one would ask about the goals of Simon Tahoh. He was a boy with (dyed) black hair, slicked back with gel so it wouldn't retain it's normal spiky shape. Simon wore (fake) square glasses, and had a general laid-back air.
Simon had a laid-back personality in general, something Clyde was having a bit of a hard time maintaining under his current situation. Unknown to most of the trainers around him, at least, it better be, lest he have to 'take care' of a trainer on this mission; he was a recently-promoted Rocket in disguise. He was also taking part in this mission, but for the moment, he just wanted to observe the group. If anything happened, he could relay instructions to the other members on the mission.

Zak had finally arrived to the base of the mountain. Of course there was a crowd at the mountain's base. He didn't see many he recognized. Yet when he saw Cara a small smile crossed the boy's face. "Cara!" he called out trying to get her attention. She probably wouldn't recognize him with out Zue on his head, but still it was worth a try. The bat-hat, how a crobat he left behind for this journey. He decided that Sakki needed the experience more then the rest of his pokemon. Plus he was a dragon/fire trainer why not show off his only dragon pokemon. Sakki was not just his only dragon pokemon, but he recently had received her from an old friend of his. The two hadn't had much interaction together so he didn't know how well things would go so the dragonair remained in her pokeball for the time being.

It took a while for Lizzie to get going. Though she clearly heard the legendary's cry from this direction, Psywater thought that it would be in the completely opposite direction. And with this childish and impetuous Lugia as her mount, she could only attempt to redirect him towards where they were supposed to go. Finally Psywater admitted that he was wrong and that checking out the mountains was their best first step.
When they spotted the group of trainers at the base of the mountain, Lizzie wasn't exactly too eager to join them. But Psywater was ever the curious one and started his descent without his trainer's approval. Sighing, she at least encouraged him to land a distance away from the crowd, so they wouldn't scare anyone with a giant legendary bird dropping out of the sky. It was nice to take a break anyway, even if they haven't flown for long.

It had been a long time since Tygress had ventured out where there would be large numbers of other trainers. Partially it was because previous experience with such adventures had made her nervous, but mostly it was because the mature watcher had been enjoying quality time with her pokemon. At her side as always walked a luxio. Tyg could count the number of times on one hand that Peanut had been in a pokeball. The watcher believed in pokemon being partners and keeping them inside a pokeball all the time really didn't work with that belief. The rest of her team however was staying with friends, pokemon breeders who had gifted her with her eevee Eden. Tyg missed the others, but liked the idea of spending some quality time with her first pokemon friend. Who knew maybe more would join the team along the way.
Tyg scratched Peanut behind an ear, getting a light shock, "Just like old times, my friend." "Luxio," the pokemon replied with a nod. Together they moved to mingle with the crowd to try to get to know the company they'd be traveling with...
((OOC: Won't be on again til tonight, or maybe even tomorow afternoon. Just figure on these two moving through and observing rather than outright interacting with anyone right yet.))

"Nice to meet you, Officer Willis," Shaun said, nodding to the man. "Or since you're off duty, would you prefer to be just Osmond, or Mr. Willis?" As he spoke, he pulled a small notebook out of one of his vest pockets. He extracted the pencil nub that had been tucked in the spiral binding, flipped to a clean page, and jotted a note: 'Should book be published, Officer Osmond Willion of Katarina PD would like to see.' Then he closed he book back up and returned it to its pocket.
<"Oh?"> Salvo said to Marlo in mild curiosity. <"Why would weight off be good? I certainly get enoug exercise, walking around everywhere like I do.">

Juno Leoni meandered through the gathering crowd of trainers and Pokemon. She'd traded in her uniform for her own clothes – though she'd had this outfit made specifically for this occasion. Not quite the bright fiery shades and fine fabrics she usually favoured: browns and burgundies and creams in sturdier linen and corduroy, but no less elegantly cut, with the occasional flash of red and gold brocade. Her rapier was at her side as always, but worn a little less boldly. Desdemona was perched in a partially-open lantern of intricate black ironwork, staring balefully out at the other adventurers. Her flame seemed particularly bright at the moment – Juno wouldn't have expected it, but the gloomy Litwick seemed excited at the proposition of adventure. Juno lifted the lantern until the candle Pokemon was at eye level. "We'll have our due soon, pet," she purred so only Desdemona could hear. "Our place in the sun – or in the moonlight, rather, as I know you'd like that." "Liiiiiit," the Pokemon replied, in a thin wail that nonetheless sounded pleased. "Wiiiiiiick," she hissed, louder, menacing, turning her crazed gaze out at the others once again.

George wandered up to the base of the mountains around and took a look over the group seeing who might be a danger and who was just eager to see the legendary pokemon. George had a small pack of clothes and supplies for the trip, he wasn't sure how long he was going to be out here for but figured it was better to plan for a week than need supplies later. Next to him stood his poochyena Tyr. He stood there unsure why there was so many trainers and pokemon around. He hadn't been with George for very long but knew that where he went danger tended to follow and he was always the first to jump into it. So Tyr was always on on his toes for what could happen.

Remmy look around to see if he knew anyone. Most likely not because he was new here and just got here He was so happy that he his Emolga was with him because it made him feel better. He herd about the mountain and he knew he had to come. He had Squeeks on top of his head and giggle. "Hello all!" He shout so someone could at least talk to him. It would be super boreding if no one talk to him and he would not want that at all.
Squeeks look around from Remmy head and let out a small happy cry "Emogal!" He was happy that Remmy was his best friend.

"Eh, let's just cut through all the red tape. Osmond's fine." The officer replied. "Pleasure's returned. Let's hope this little trip won't be too much of a waste, aha."
Marlo shook her head as if he were having a mini seizure. <"Oh, no. No, no, no! Exercise is terrible. Such a waste! I mean, don't you get tired?>" The Raichu took a sidestep and his lovely bulge handles jiggled like a wad of tangerine gelatin. ""
