As Cartwright continued to absorb the shock of that landing he gets a very unwelcome present, in the form of two feet to his face! This snaps Cartwright right on to his back, his arms spread-out!

As soon as Shanahan hit the ground, he got up to his knees and crawled over to his fallen opponent, going for the pin!

The God of Punks rose up to his knees with a look of pure annoyance across his face. He wanted to win the match already, but it was clear that the EEW Founder was not going down without a fight! Well, if it's a fight he wanted, it was a fight he was going to get!
As Matt came up to his feet, he would attempt to grab Cartwright by his hair and yank him up as well. If successful, Shanahan would try to give him a rough shove to make some space between the two, and then put his fists up in a fighting stance. He was asking for a brawl!

"OOOOOOOW!" Cartwright yells loudly as Matt pulls him up by the hair! He is pushed so hard that he bounces off the ropes and has to put the breaks on. Cartwright rubs his head as Matt raises his fists, clearly looking for a fight!
Cartwright taunts Matt with some mock martial arts stances, the crowd booing Cartwright. He then shouts, "OH MY GOD! LOOK OVER THERE! GEORGE CLOONEY IS IN THE AUDIENCE!"

Shanahan was all too familiar with cheap tactics to get the upper hand; he was close friends with George Clooney, there was no way he'd show up without sending The God of Punks a text. Matt turned his head to the side, pretending to believe his opponent, but would then whip back around in hopes that Cartwright was coming at him for a move. If he turned in time, he would attempt to send a quick right jab to the Brit's jaw!

Darn it! Cartwright is foiled early on as he crept towards Matt sneakily while Matt turned his head. Cartwright takes a swift jab to the jaw which rocks Cartwright's head back!

With his right jab connecting, Shanahan knew it was time for his fist-fighting expertise to finally be used. His left shot out to attempt for a rough gut shot on his opponent, followed by another hard right to the side of his head if the first punch landed!

Cartwright doubles-over from the gut shot and is smacked hard with the right, planting him into the mat! Not a fun way to spend your night!

The God of Punks was on fire tonight, but it wasn't over yet! Attempting to keep his opponent down, Matt sprinted to the other side of the ring and shot off the ropes, running back to Cartwright for a harsh leg drop!

Matt's leg crushes Cartwright's throat, hitting him so hard that he bounces from the impact!

The dominating Shanahan rolled off his opponent afterwards, standing up onto his feet in a matter of seconds. His eyes looked around the arena for a split moment, at all the adoring fans that were rooting for him, for his team. He wasn't going to let them down; he threw his hand in the air, four fingers extended to signal the end! With a roar erupting from his lips and the arena itself, Matt turned to face Cartwright with a hungry look in his eyes. His arms were extended, his body crouched in wait...

Cartwright groggily gets to his feet. He sees the referee near him and grabs hold of his shirt! The referee begins to yell at Cartwright, telling him to get off! He can't be up to something again at this point in the match!

The brute Shanahan was gradually getting impatient with Cartwright's delays on the end; he wasn't going to let him pull another cheap stunt! Hopefully, Cartwright's back would be turned to Matt all the while; if that were the case, he would step forward and attempt to scoop up Cartwright from behind and rip him away. If he were successful on this endeavor, a roar would let loose from his throat as he attempt to sling his British opponent around for an inverted Chapter Four, hoping that he would be driving his knee into Cartwright's stomach!
But, would this be the trick to outsmarting his crafty opponent?

Cartwright is tugging on the ref's shirt, begging for a time out, which of course the ref refuses! Cartwright feels Matt grabbing him from behind and this is where the magic happens, he attempts a dirty low blow with his left foot right between Matt's legs as he keeps the ref distracted, keeping eye contact with him!
