Tartarus only bristled all the more. When the Eevee popped its head out again, she aimed another barrage of Stone Edge.

Socks was a bit too slow and was knocked out by one of the stones. She was quickly recalled.
Alexa considered her options for a moment before grabbing another pokeball. She tossed it out and in a flash of red and small Growlithe appeared. She gave the signal for Rock Smash and watched as Hulda rushed the bigger pokemon.
Hulda caught the signal and rushed towards the Lucario. She smashed a fist into the ground next to the Lucario in an attempt to make it lower its defense.

Genesis sighed. Tartarus wasn't willing to obey her right now. She was still upset about the Eevee, it seemed.
Recalling the Lucario, she threw down another Poké Ball instead.
Perseus emerged in a blaze of light and her skittered away nervously from the Growlithe, her back arched and teeth bared in warning.

Hulda quickly glanced back at Alexa but saw no new signal. She took that as a sign to continue on with the Rock Smash. She rushed towards the skittish cat pokemon and slammed her paw down.

Perseus hissed at the blow. She heard Genesis call out some encouragement, along with an attack, but she was new, and not yet used to her trainer's disguises and the changes that came with it. Ignoring the orders to choose her own attacks as she'd always done, she loosed two arcs of dark energy at the Growlithe.

Hulda yelped in pain from the dark energy arcs. She moved backwards and silently growled at Perseus. She then rushed forwards and smashed her paw against the ground next to the Purrloin.

Perseus was bruised sorely by the blow, and she sought shelter behind one of the electric pillars. Her tail was still brushed up from her startled anger, and she aimed a ball of shadow at the Growlithe, hoping to lower her defense in turn.

Alexa quickly flashed another signal and seeing how Hulda was facing her the Growlithe saw it.
Hulda looked at the cat just after the Shadow Ball hit nearby making her jump. She crouched down and tried to best to look fierce. She then snarled at her opponent trying to sound angry and nasty.

Perseus sniffed delicately, though she had to admit the growl frightened her. The Growlithe was so much larger than her, after all...

Hulda jumped again when the Shadow Ball landed near her. Her ears went back and she snarled once again. She then moved, trying to keep her trainer in sight, to avoid some electricity.

Perseus stayed rooted to the spot, though she thought she was growing a bit braver as she got used to the sight of the mutt's ugly teeth! With a hiss that was meant to boost her confidence more than scare her opponent, she released another Shadow Ball.

Hulda jumped back again and barely caught the new signal. She silently growled again before throwing her head back. A loud howl echoed through the stadium as Hulda pumped herself up.

Alexa figured there was no hope of lowering the opponent's stats anymore so she gave Hulda the signal to attack.
Hulda rushed at Perseus dodging the electricity. She slammed her paw down on the cat pokemon and then moved away.

Perseus staggered from the blow, the wind knocked clear out of her. She'd gone from nearly full health to just a bit away from fainting with one blow, and she realized now how different the wild was compared to a trainer's Pokémon.
Hoping to get some damage in before her eventual fall, she managed a weak Night Slash.
