Shun wasn't sure how she would react to it, especially since he had never tried to hum or sing (to his memory) before. Watching her, he moved his hands around her so that she could lean back against him more easily. He continued to massage her where he could, wanting to soothe her as much as possible.
The reaper continued to hum softly, especially when she had gone and closed her eyes. It was working.
Briefly, he cast a glance towards the pudding and daggers. He'd leave those there for now.

Feeling his hands continuing to rub down her sides and across her stomach Mitsu sighed contently, resting against him for the time being. It seemed like she was pretty relaxed down. Much more so than she had been moments prior. Her heart rate ha come back down and it seemed her breathing was even and steady.
Not much was going through her mind thankfully, Mitsu was using all her energy to just focus on the sound of Shun's voice and the feel of his hands as they ran across her skin. Thinking about anything else would only drive her mind to dwell on things she would rather forget.

It was working pretty well. Shun could feel her relax. Her breathing had calmed and he could feel her pulse go to a normal rate too. Even so, he didn't stop humming until the music box had stopped, which was some time later. And when he went silent, he was still lightly rubbing her to help keep her soothed.
"You don't need to try again today," he said softly, regarding the pudding. Though despite that, he wasn't removing his daggers. They would remain. She just didn't need to approach them. Or even really look at them. The pudding would be her reward should she manage to overcome her fear enough to get that close.
"But... I want to try and work with this every day. Until we can end this phobia."

Mitsu was actually starting to drift when the music stopped and Shun's humming came to an end. Her eyes opened lazily as she heard him speak relieved that their training for the day was over. She didn't know what she thought about doing something like this every day but for now she said nothing about it. Her body was far too relaxed to allow her to give it much thought.
"What...if I can't get passed it?" She decided to ask.

"You thought you could never step outside your room again," Shun pointed out. She had asked something similar before after all. Slightly different matter, but it was still something nonetheless.
"I believe in you Mitsu. I think.. this might take some time but I know you can do this. Just as long as you want to get over it at least..."
If she didn't for some reason, he wasn't sure how he was going to do this. She needed to have the drive.
"Don't give up on me, ok? I won't give up on you..."

Mitsu supposed he had a point. While it was hard and would probably seem impossible at times it wasn't. Shun would no doubt keep pushing her and as much as she would hate it at the time it would be beneficial in the long run.
"I won't give up." Mitsu assured. Just being compliant with it was another matter but it was all a matter of steps right?

Shun held her close, embracing her firmly for the moment as she assured she wouldn't give up.
"Good. We'll make this work out. I swear," he whispered before planting a gentle kiss to her face. His gaze drifted over towards the pudding.
"In the meantime... I think I'll need to learn how to make some of that pudding.."

"Okay," Mitsu nodded, resting against Shun in the meantime.
Her brows furrowed slightly at the mention of being learning to make pudding. "I'm not going to get the pudding I bought am I?"

As she rested against him, Shun continued to hold her close to him. He rested his chin against her shoulder, then looked over towards the pudding.
"You might, depending. But... that pudding did taste pretty good. I wouldn't mind learning how to make some nice pudding."

"Depending?" Mitsu pouted at that, tilting her head to look up at her reaper. "But I had gotten it for lunch." She pointed out. Maybe that would change his mind in withholding it from her. It was worth a try at least.

Shun shook his head.
"That's hardly a proper lunch. I have some supplies. I'll cook you something better," he said before slowly getting up and getting some things together, "Would you rather have fried rice or curry?"
He was determined to have that pudding as a sort of reward instead.

It was the perfect lunch! Mitsu had been ready to sit down and savor her pudding but instead it was being held hostage by sharp and pointy.
Sighing lightly as Shun got up Mitsu brought herself into a sitting position though she was slightly slouched forward. She watched her reaper gather a few things to put together but only stared at him when he asked what she would prefer. What she would prefer wasn't one of those two options.
"I'll just eat later," She said dejectedly.

"Now don't be that way. You'll get your pudding in time. Consider it an extra incentive to work out your phobia," Shun said softly. Though she said she would just eat later, that didn't stop him from continue on with the cooking. He took some meat and eggs out of the fridge... he was going to need to get more later. This was the last bit he had.
Placing those on the desk, he also fetched his kitchen knife and scoop to start preparing the food. He needed lunch too after all.
In any case, whatever he was cooking, he was making it rather meaty.

Mitsu was doing a classic job of pouting and continued to do so even as Shun began to cook. When the kitchen knife came into existence she took a position further back on the bed until she could go no further. When her back was against the wall she picked up one of the pillows and placed it in front of herself as a sort of barrier. It was like she expected the knife to go flying out of Shun's hands and right toward her.
"What are you making?" She mumbled into the pillow.

Shun was busy preparing their meal, though he looked over when she asked him what he was cooking. She sounded muffled. And he soon saw why. Furrowing his brow, he stared as she hid on his bed, but he said nothing. He was using a knife right now after all.
"Sorry. I need to use the blade. But.. I'm actually making two things. For lunch, some curry beef. And I'm getting some things ready for later as well. Hel did tell me how to make a stew. I figure I may as well give it a shot."
He supposed it was time he expanded his repetoir of what he could make. Aside from.. fried rice. Soba. Curry. Sushi. That was pretty much all he was capable of right now. It was nice and all... but picking up a few more things wouldn't hurt.
"I will need to pick up a few more things for the latter... if you want, after lunch we can take a walk together."
It may help her take her mind off of the whole knife thing for awhile. Hopefully.
