Walking with a casual stride, Midoriko perused the many houses that were available in the residential district. There were many options, but so far none of them truly caught her eye. They were all well within price range, but they just didn't have the feel she was going for. As she was beginning to lose the hope of finding the perfect house, she happened across one on a large lot. It was a beautiful place, built traditionally and outfitted with all the original ornamentation. The three-story house had pagoda roofing, and dragons on each corner of each tier.

As the kunoichi entered, she moved with a gentle pace, taking in the atmosphere. This house must have belonged to a well off clan, as the size was immense for the lot it was on. It was essentially a small mansion. As she toured the rooms, she began to fall more in love with the place. The tatami floors were in wonderful condition, the sliding doors didn't creak, and the wood on the floor and elsewhere was polished to perfection! It didn't take long for her to find the person selling the house, and she was surprised to find it was within her price range. It cost about half of the money she had brought with her, but it was well worth it. "Well, Hitofuki. This is our new home!" The tiger mewed in happiness, and the two soon were on their way to the training grounds.
