"I'm game," Harrison said, perky at the mention of Vegas.
He snickered at being at it all day, picking up Candace's gift, which had five soft, snappy ring boxes in them. Inside were earrings of all different colors, real ******** sparkly and definitely not plastic.
"Holy s**t, are these real?"

Rep was in the swing of opening things and went on to combo open a whole heap of hot chocolate and various mugs and the like to drink it with, so many brands he couldn't wait to try, many of which he hadn't even heard of. Jerky too, from clerise. Plenty of booze aswell, he felt like he'd cleaned up. He'd need to make it up to people as soon as he could, he hadn't expected anything.
When he ran out of large packages, he raised a brow at Harrison almost expectantly.

"Nice," Jordan commented, leaning over to take a look at the earrings.
There were a few more personalized gifts, but most of his presents contained coffee, and he lined up the packages, grinning. "Look at this. I think I've been figured out." He had absolutely no problem with this.

Harrison clapped the boxes shut. "Gonna have to make myself a jewelry box," and set aside the soft pair of pink work boots that came with them.
Otto had given them all some coffee and mugs. There were a few utilitarian items (alarm clock, electric shaver), a few clothing items (pink shirt, two hoodies). Matt had gotten him some ******** awesome skull swag, which B0nez appreciated.
Harrison had another box himself, from Cass. He pulled it over. "You won't be running out of coffee anytime soon, that's for sure." Rep was looking at him expectantly.
"Well. Go on and open it," he said, inclining his head towards the oversized box.
The box was cardboard, and stuffed with more wadded-up butcher paper. After digging a while, it seemed like butcher paper might be all that was in there. But nestled in the bottom, glowing with fresh runes, was a gaming laptop.
"Only condition is, you're going to have to share that with B0nez."

Rep didn't need to be told twice, the second he got the nod, he was over at the box like a shot, without even bothering to put actual clothes on, digging into it with all the eagerness of a kid - he couldn't help it, he liked things, stuff was his favourite. He looked progressively more baffled the more nothing that he found, until he caught sight of a flash of blue underneath the paper.
It didn't take long for him to realise what he was dealing with, and swept the laptop into his arms with all the tenderness one might afford a small child or a puppy.
"Oh maaaan." he crooned. "Oh man oh man oh maaaaan."
He didn't mind sharing with B0nez, the ghost knew his s**t, he doubted he'd harm it in the least, if anything it'd run better with both of them involved.
He stroked it reassuringly as if it was a small fuzzy creature and practically sparkled at Harrison. "Ta man." He could hardly contain his excitement, trotting back over and sliding back into bed, the laptop in front of him, checking out every port and hardware feature before even turning it on.

"That's awesome," Jordan said, watching Rep cradle the laptop reverently.
Then he slid off the bed himself and went to investigate the large present marked with his name. He'd been restraining his curiosity carefully, but he was pretty sure it was his turn now.

While the majority of Harrison's wordworking had been small- towel racks and hand-sized boxes, Jordan's he'd spent some time smoothing out and finishing.
Under the sheets were two large, hand carved bookcases.
One had a meticulously-traced, mirrored phoenixes carved into the thick front siding. At least, it was supposed to be. They were birds, anyhow, with flame marks. The other had curling, legless dragons. The patterns were simplistic, but dutifully rendered.
"B0nez found the images," Harrison said. "I'm not much of an artist. We stopped by an antique store to get some ideas."

Jordan traced the carvings with his fingers, his smile softening. "These are amazing," he said. "Man, there's room for all my books and then some. I love it," he added, and returned to the bed to kiss Harrison. "Thank you. Seriously."

Rep managed to pull his absolutely riveted attention off of the laptop, to look on while Jordan dealt with his own gift, flat out impressed by the bookcases, he forgot it was even possible to make furniture that wasn't bought from ikea or some other flat-pack nightmare. They were carefully built and attractive. "Those are ******** awesome." he offered, as if he was suddenly a qualified critic.
"I like the dragons."

"That's the idea," Harrison said, kissing him affectionately, "room to grow on. I'm glad it's okay. I used the binoculars again, I think it's when I look through them...don't know if it works for anybody else. Only lasted a week. Same as last time. And it doesn't matter how much work I do, I don't need to take breaks. Don't get tired at all. So. I ended up with a lot of time on my hands last week."
He snuck an extra kiss in, semi-rich and bitter from the coffee.
"I've got one more."
He put Cass's gift aside, then slid off the bed to tug the sheets off his last present.
"I made it last. After all the other stuff. So I'd gotten some practice in."
Leaning against the wall was a headboard, the right size to fit the new mattress.
There were some fancier elements, swirls and rails, that had less of an antique aesthetic and looked more like they'd come fresh out of World of Warcraft. B0nez had obviously had a lot of input on the design. In the middle was a weird symbol. To the left was a moon, and to the right was a sun. Harrison went over it with his hand.
"B0nez phototraced- okay, shopped, it together on the library computers. See. The Skull is him. And these wings are Tracey. And the dragons are Ferros."
He'd refined a different version for his jacket design, to fit a crescent shape, but here Tracey's wings were spread and clearly outlined, Ferros's body long and serpentine.
"I thought, you know. Instead of having two pushed together."

"That's beautiful," Jordan said, and got up again to run his fingers over the carving, exploring the details and the workmanship with fascination. "For all of us.I really like it. Damn, dude, I didn't know you were such an artist."
He looked over to the bed, assessing the attachment points of the rails; it'd be easy to replace the makeshift double headboard with the new one Harrison had made, barely a job at all with all of them helping.

The binoculars explained how Harrison had managed to craft the items without them knowing, but Rep had never had any idea that he was even capable of making anything other than a microwave dinner. He was absolutely impressed.
Tracey all but radiated approval at the wings, at being alongside Ferros and B0nez.
"We love it.", Rep volunteered, speaking for himself and Tracey in agreement for a change. "It's ******** awesome. Our bed." It was heraldic, it was imposing, it was perfect. "None of that frilly lady s**t." he nodded. "You outdid yourself man."
He eyed the pile of opened presents aswell. He had not been expecting such a grand haul when he woke up this morning, that was for sure.

Harrison looked flustered. "Thanks. ...B0nez. Like I said. I'm not an artist. We rented a projector from the library and penciled in the s**t. Then it was like. Just me not cutting in too deep or whatever. I would have tried metal, I've made cages and s**t before. But the wood was easier to get a hold of."
The grin was sheepish this time.
"But yeah. For our bed."

"It still takes skill and a good eye to pull it off." Jordan ran his hand over the carvings again. "Amazing, seriously."
Ferros thrummed contentment in his head, warm and pleased to be considered and included, remembered and important. They were all more than one, and Harrison had not only thought about that but made it plain that he did so.
"Ferros likes it too," Jordan added.

"Aye man." he concurred, "It's a skill." He tried not to fall back into thinking about how despite all the generous gifts, he'd brought nothing of his own to the table. "I'm ******** spoiled."
