"Mmm ... That... would have been a long way to run..."
He flexed his hand, feeling a slight amount of performance anxiety balanced by an almost foolishly bright excitement. What if it didn't work? What if his magic decided to screw up now? What if he did the wrong thing and lit her hair on fire?
But nope, nope, he was feeling stupid and lovestruck.
"Allright..." he said, smiling before his face scrunched up in concentration as he pulled his magic out into his hand. More... More... a bit more... and suddenly, like with the talking, it released. He was more familiar with his magic than talking, though.
A rather impressive stream of harmless sparks came out of his hand in front of them, dancing over the water before being consumed by it's black void.
He immediately fell into the habit he had picked up in his practicing- he fed the magic slowly into his hand, twisting it a little as it siphoned into the spark summoning.
It was a contstant stream of sparks, lasting for nearly a minute. They twisted occasionally, and changed color once.
It was pretty, but he knew he could do better. One day, maybe, he could actually do something more useful than colored spark shows. He didn't want to think about how it was 'supposed' to be used... For harm... He didn't want to think about it. Not yet. Not now.
He let the lightshow finish, the last of the sparks vanishing into the water.
His face relaxed into an almost sheepish smile, and he let his hand fall.
"Did that do the trick?" he asked, realizing that during the whole lightshow he had subconciously been holding her tightly to him with the other arm.
Had it been uncomfortable? He losened his hold a little. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable...
It was an interesting feeling to feel both anxious and relaxed. Certainly unique.
He wanted to make sure she was comfortable and happy. With him. And he was just happy she was there. With him.
He liked how she felt against him. He liked how her hair felt soft against his neck. He liked how it smelled ohgoshthatsoundedsostrangeinhismind...
He liked how soft her skin was...
Wait...
Skin...
He glanced down at where his holding arm had fallen.
Oh.
Oh dear.
He flushed, nervousness returning. The relaxation was still there, but...
Well it felt stranger now.

Zuri laughed. "Yes, it would have been a very long way to run. Thank you for sparing me from having to make it." she said tapping his nose lovingly with a smile. She watched his hand movement, wishing for not the first time that she could also do magic. Not only would it be amazing since it would be something they shared, but it also just seemed so exciting. Yes she wanted to be a rider, and she was happy with that path, but she did wish she would have taken some of her father's magical skills.
She watched the private show in awe. When it was finished she smiled and kissed him again. "Of course my dear." she said happily as she snuggled into him. She knew that sooner or later they were going to have to leave this place, go back to their separate homes, but right now it was just them at their little lake. She saw many future meetings at this lake.
She saw him flush, not realizing what was happening. "Is everything okay?" From all the excitement she had forgotten that she was in nothing but a shirt of hers, so not only was his bare chest pressing against her back but at this point she was pretty much sitting on his lap without pants.

(He wasn't sure he wanted to say anything, haha)
"W-well..."
Oh dear, oh dear.
"Uh... Did you... Did you..." he blushed and looked away, not quite sure if he could meet her gaze without turning into an embarassed pile of goo.
"... I'm wearing your pants..."
Well, that said it. Delicately too.
His chest, well, it was Jahuar. He was used to it being bare, because otherwise he was too hot.
But she was on his lap.
Without pants.
Biroki was very flustered by this point.

Oh.... That... Zuri's face turned bright read at the thought. She had been so wrapped up in the moment, so carried away, that she had forgotten that she gave him her pants to wear! However she didn't move from her position. To move away quickly would imply that she had done something wrong, and she didn't feel wrong sitting there on his lap without pants on. "Yes... You are aren't you..." was all she could muster to say.

Biroki fully expected her to move off his lap, throw his clothes or a towel at him, and ask him to look away as she got dressed.
Thats what he would do if he was in Zuri's position, and also as tough and brave as Zuri.
If it was him, except a girl and... uh...
Well, if it was just him without the bravery, he would have politely and nervously asked if he could put some sort of pants on...
Or have run into the lake.
Or...
Something.
He waited an awkward moment, and Zuri did none of those things.
Did that mean... she wanted to be on his lap.../
Without pants?
Wait.
If so... Ah...
He wasn't sure what the thoughts were that were going through his head, but they certainly made him blush. If Zuri had thought that Biroki couldnt turn more red in the revealing light of the moon, she was wrong. There were shades of read unseen in Jahuar, and Biroki was turning those shades.
He had no idea why he pulled her closer to him, so that she was pressed against his chest.
"And thats... fine?" he asked, somewhat baffled.
More than somewhat.

She smiled as she watched the thoughts go through his head. She could tell that he was thinking, and it was very attractive. In her head it made it even more okay for her to be without pants on his lap. It was also more amusing to see him turn more and more red. It was crazy, those were colors she had never even thought possible to see.
Finally he spoke, and not only did he speak but he also brought her closer to his chest. "Yes, I think it is more then fine. I think it is pretty wonderful. Don't you?" she asked with a smile as she snuggled into him, her face going into his neck. Yes this was very comfortable, in no way did it feel wrong.

Biroki wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't sure he could say anything at all. He felt like it was supposed to feel wrong, but it wasn't happening. It felt nice.
"Do you..." it was hard to get his mouth to work, and it felt strange to speak in such a moment. It felt like the entire lake was telling him to hush, to just sit there holding Zuri, stroking her heavy hair, feeling her warmth against him, knowing that she had no pants on and that was okay. This was what he had wanted to do, right? Be close to her? Because he really liked her, a lot?
"Want to stay like this? For a while... longer?"
He certainly did. Despite the thoughts going through his head, he didn't want to do anything else. No, really.
Well, maybe a little, but every time he began to contemplate it, he swatted down the idea with a surge of panic.
Either way, this felt so... oddly nice... that he just wanted it to keep going.

Zuri nodded, snuggling into him some more. "Yes, I think I would like to stay like this. I could even fall asleep like this, it's very comfortable and right." she mumbled into his chest, kissing it as she did. Yes, there was many things she knew she could do, they could do, right about then, but instead she just sat there cuddled up to him. "This feeling, it's new. It isn't like how I feel for you, like how much I like you, but it works with the feeling... It's like they go together." now it was her turn to ramble on, it was like she had so much to say yet didn't want to say anything at the same time.

He had no idea what she was talking about, but that was just fine. He pressed her closer.
"Mmm." Okay. This was right. This was what he wanted, wasn't it? This feeling of warmth and closeness and her.
He shifted positions gently so that his back was supported against the rock and leaned back with her. The view of the sky was as pretty as she was...
No he thought, smiling and kissing the top of her head. She was better than those stars, beautiful though they may be.
She was here with him, not far away and unreachable.
He pulled her closer, stroking her hair, and closed his eyes. He was still blushing as they both found their way into a comfortable sleep...
