Her expression warmed considerably as he pulled her in close, her head tilting up just slightly as he pressed a kiss to it. Closing her eyes she let this happy moment wash over her, clinging to the memory. She only opened them again when he brought up the issue with sledding.
"A hill?" All of a sudden Mitsu wasn't sure she liked the idea of sledding. It seemed risky. "Maybe we could...." She paused as she thought about it. What other things did people do when it snowed? "Oh! I know. We can make a snowman!"

Shun was feeling pretty warm and fuzzy inside right now too. Not that it showed that much outwardly. When Mitsu brought up another thing they could do, he blinked at the thought. That was also something he wasn't.. entirely certain the purp--OH! They could build snowmen to act as makeshift training dummies.
Yes. That was obviously the answer.
"That we can," he nodded. He had seen pictures and a few of the things around in person. They didn't seem particularly difficult to craft.
And so he knelt down and packed a snowball to get started.

Mitsu was rather surprised Shun agreed so easily but smiled and nodded before looking for the best place to put them. "How about over there?" She pointed off a little ways where it was nice and clear.
When she pulled away to start heading to the spot she had indicated she turned just slightly, knelt and made a hasty snowball to throw at Shun before she darted off. At least she seemed to be enjoying herself.

Looking over to where Mitsu was pointing, Shun went ahead and rolled the snowball that way to help it increase in mass for their location. Since he was busy doing this, he definitely did not expect a sneak attack by the lycan. Suddenly he just felt something cold hit him. Lifting his head up, he saw her retreating from him and he narrowed his eye at this.
He kept this in mind.
The Reaper would get his little revenge. But not just yet. For now, he just continued to roll the ball into the little clearing. By then the base had grown to a decent size.

When Mitsu looked back she saw that Shun wasn't giving chase. Pouting shortly she wondered how much it would take to get him into 'play mode'. Though to him it was training. Always so serious.
With a smile she shook her head lightly and started to make the middle section since it seemed Shun was making the base. Starting was a little awkward. She had never done it before so rolling something so small took time until it was big enough for her to push around so that it gathered snow. Once it was a decent size she hefted it up with ease and carried it over toward Shun and the clearing she had pointed out.
"I've got the next piece." It was also clearly too big.

Since he had the snowball in place, Shun was smoothing out some of it. When he saw Mitsu approaching, he looked up and just sort of stared at her. That snowball she held was far to large. Granted it was amusing to see her carrying an object that big with ease.
"Perhaps... Yours should act as the base."
Deciding that was the best route, he waited for her to set it down while he went to lift up his snowball. He grunted as he brought it up. The thing was heavier than it looked.

"Base?" Mitsu looked her section over and then compared it to Shun's. Okay so perhaps she had put a little too much effort into it. With a nod she set her piece down trying not to topple over in the process and patted in gently once it was in place. She smoothed over a few places while she waited for Shun to add his piece looking up when she heard her reaper grunt with effort.
"D...do you need help?" She asked, standing and reaching toward the overly large snowball.

"I got it." he grunted out while managing to bring it up on top of Mitsu's ball. No doubt, she would have had an easier time with that. He was no wimp... but she was definitely a lot stronger than him physically. Even so, he wanted to lift it himself. Perhaps it was pride.
Once it was in place, Shun made sure it was secure, then took a step back.
"Good. We just need a head for it now."

Watching Shun carefully Mitsu took a step back while her reaper struggled to get his piece into position. She wanted to help but he seemed determined to do this on his own. When he finally managed it she clapped excitedly and took a step back with him to have a look at their progress.
"Oh!" Yes, a head would probably be ideal. Kneeling down Mitsu quickly gathered some snow making a large snowball just a bit smaller than Shun's. Once she had it together she lifted it up and set it on top. "Ah, it's all together now!.....But...its missing something." She looked over the rather blank looking snowman not sure what else it needed.

As expected, Mitsu got her piece up rather easily. When it was in place, he took a step back to examine their handiwork. It would do. Though it seemed that the lycan felt otherwise.
"Missing something?" he repeated while tilting his head a bit. He wasn't sure what the snowman was missing. It had everything it needed to be target practice as far as he was aware.
"What do you think it needs?"

Mitsu nodded when he confirmed her thoughts. There was something missing but it was hard to pin point what. She stared at the snowman a bit longer until it finally struck her what it needed.
"I know. It needs a face!" She looked around to find something suitable. It took a bit of searching and pushing some snow around but she finally found a pair of rocks to work for eyes. Trotting back to the snowman she put the eyes in place and pulled her finger across the bottom of the face to make a mouth. It ended up looking a little bit like neutral . "Do you think it needs arms?"

Shun raised an eyebrow at her deduction. Training dummies did not require faces. Buuut he supposed it would provide a front and back in a way. The face she ended up giving the snowman seemed adequate enough though. Snowmen who were doomed had nothing to smile about.
"Arms? Why would it need arms?" he asked.

"Why wouldn't it? We have arms, it should have arms too." Mitsu nodded again before she went about looking for the perfect addition to their snowman. This time she didn't have to search as long before she came up with two branches which she stuck on either side of the snowman. She tried to angle them a little so that they were more at its sides and not straight out. Once she was done she took a step back and nodded approvingly.
"There, I think it's done."

Not saying anything, Shun just waited for Mitsu to go ahead and get the arms in place.
"Done?"
Sizing up the snowman, he soon nodded.
"Yes. I believe so."
And that was when he crouched down a little. If it looked like he was getting ready for a fight... well. He kind of was. Letting out a breath, he focused before shifting forth and striking the torso of the snowman once with a fist. He then spun about and took the head of the snowy construct with a solid kick.

Mitsu looked proud of their creation so it was only confusing when Shun went about attacking it. The snowman began to crumble forward from the hit to the mid-section and Mitsu could only watch wide-eyed as the head went flying off in the distance.
"W...why did...you destroy our snowman?" Mitsu ask, staring as the remains all but crumbled to the ground as if completely giving up in defeat.
