There was a knock much later in the night to interrupt Naraku's planning. Nodding to the door, he watched one of his new incarnations open the door and exit the room. His castle was partially brimming with people now, not too many of course. His castle was meant to be desolate now. The dreamweaver entered silently and bowed, his form trembling. "It is complete my lord." "Good, return to your chambers and retire. You will begin your work as an assistant to the full breed tomorrow. You shall follow her and ensure the dreams have taken hold. Inform your sister Kali that she will follow the half breed." Both the dreamweavers were fox half breeds. The male bowed. "As you wish of this Malik my lord." Naraku grinned causing him to shiver in fear. After he left, he mused partially. Perhaps it was time to send Kagura out to play. He would wait for the morrow which wasn't too far away.

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango looked around warily as she appraoched Naraku's estate upon Kirara's back. The two of them had traveled hard to get here before the others to save Kohaku. Sango's hand gripped Hiraikotsu's handle as she dismounted and quickly raced towards the building. She went through the large gate that lead into the courtyard and looked around for any signs of the enemy. Sango glanced to Kirara who was following closely behind her and then ahead as she headed towards the bulk of the building where she suspected Naraku would be.

He watched the sunrise and was pleasantly surprised to find a gift on his front porch. A dark smirk appeared on his lips. That slayer. Oh this was more than a present. This was fate. Stepping inside, he donned his more elegant robes before proceeding downstairs. He caused his new incarnations to begin running frantically back and forth, letting out the sound of danger.

As he reached the main chamber, he glanced over to the side and saw Kanna standing silently nearby. This was good. Finally, he spoke. "Guards, capture and bring the trespasser here."

This caused the outside of the palace to go into a flurry of activity. Instantly guards that looked pure human surged out and surrounded both Kirara and Sango. "Halt, who dares enter here? You were not welcomed." Off in the corner, Kagure glanced at Kohaku. He had managed to get away with not getting harmed too much. She however still sported a couple bruises and a bloody lip. They were to be kept out of side. If they disobeyed well... that wouldn't be pretty. She could hear Naraku's mocking laughter. Then there was the warning. If they helped in any way or revealed themselves, he would ensure that she did not survive. This alone held Kohaku back. Kagura placed a hand on his shoulder. They knew he was going to capture her. They could go later to help her.

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango looked around as a bunch of 'humans' came running out at her, yelling that she was no welcomed and she was prepared to hurl her hiraikotsu at any that got too close as she yelled, "Where is he! I know that he's here! Where's Kohaku?!" Sango wouldn't leave until she had her brother, even if it meant dying, she'd sacrifice herself to free him from Naraku. Sango looked to the first group of humans that rushed at her and she threw her hiraikotsu, cutting down an entire stretch. As hiraikotsu was flying she drew her katana, turning to the remaining masses of enemies. They'd paused a moment in shock of her devastating blow before they all rushed towards her. Sango cut down the enemies frantically until hiraikotsu was on it's returning swing. She leaped onto Kirara's back and managed to catch hiraikotsu as Kirara rose into the air. Although as she caught it Sango felt a sharp jolt of pain shoot up her arm. Sango clenched her jaw in pain as she slowly put hiraikotsu on her back. She wouldn't be able to throw it any more, another catch could damage her arm even more. Sango glanced to Kirara, her left arm wasn't of any use now unless she wished to lose the use of it. Sango urged Kirara forward and towards the main building, she would try to get past them this way, so she didn't have to fight her way through them. Sango gripped her left arm tightly as they reached the front door, jumping from kirara's back and onto the front step she said, "Go Kirara! Go! I'll be fine." Sango landed clumsily by the door and spun around, now that the humans were on top of her. Sango cut down forty men or so before she was overwhelmed, taking an arrow to her right shoulder. She was then knocked to the ground and disarmed, or at least everything except for the blades hidden beneath her slayer uniform in her sleeves. She glanced to see Kirara reluctantly taking off in the direction they'd come. Sango knew that she most likely wouldn't make it out of this but that was no reason that she couldn't get Kohaku out.

Sango cringed in pain as her hands were bound behind her back and she was dragged into the main chamber. A small stream of blood travelled down Sango's left arm as she was shoved to her knees and held there. Sango's gaze drifted to Naraku who stood several feet away and she cursed his name as she remained knelt there, as soon as he got closer she'd brandish her blades underneath her armour and attempt to cut his throat.

Kino shot up in bed, eyes wide open. A scent had reached her nose. And the sounds of a woman shouting. She faintly recognized the smell. It was someone from Inuyasha's group. But the face wasn't coming to mind. All she could think of was Kurama. Kino rubbed her eyes, as if trying to rub the thoughts out of her brain. After a moment, she got up to investigate. Kino wandered through the hall, trying to find Lorelai

Naraku watched with pleasure as the shadow incarnations dragged Sango forward into the room. His eyes glinted brightly. His eyes glinted darkly in humor. Oh he would enjoy this very much. Of course, he'd have to do it downstairs as it wouldn't do to have his 'guests' witness his fun. He moved forward, still remaining out of distance. He spoke softly, feeling Kino shoot out of her bed at that moment. "I will enjoy destroying your essence slayer." Moving back, he settled on the chair, awaiting the arrival of the others. His face adopted a pained and sad look one would expect of a man in his position. When the other girls would enter, he'd finally speak. "I see I cannot make you see reason young slayer. That despicable half breed has warped your mind beyond repair. Take her below. She will be delivered to a village in a few days time whilst we repair the barrier." There was no actual repairing. He planned on moving the castle to another location. Tonight he would have his fun with the slayer and leave her buried in the dust and ash, fighting for her life. The group was still far enough away, that even with the youkai in their group, it would take them a few days to reach him. Already, he was starting the move, a slow pace so as to not alert anyone else. Mentally he spoke to his servants. 'Strip her of everything and chain her to the wall.'

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango watched Naraku closely, it seemed he was keeping a wide burth around her, or at least out of the reach of her arms if she were to break free of his minion's grip. She glared at him as he went on about how her mind had been warped by Inuyasha and when he said she'd be delivered to a village in a few days, she was sceptical. Sango squirmed in the grip of the men as they were ordered to take her down below. She managed to bite one of the servant's hands when it moved to cover her mouth to shut her up. Sango made sure to memorize the path that they took to get down to the place that she was going to be kept. When they reached the room she watched as a few moved to guard while the others stripped her of everything before chaining her to the wall. As they chained her injured arm to the wall she grimaced and doubled over, now that her blades that were normally hidden away were gone she was relatively defenceless. Sango watched as all of the servants left and closed the door, well aware that there were at least a handful of them playing guard outside of the cell door. Sango started to looked around for a way to get the cuffs off as she stood there in silence.

Moving down the halls, Naraku hummed softly to himself a malicious tune. Perhaps it was time to move along for the time being. He had no doubt that the slayers little group would be along with time. Already, the castle had picked up enough speed that within a few hours time, he'd be a day or so ahead of them. Once that happened, he would set the castle down. Perhaps now was time to try something he'd been looking into for a while.

Glancing over to a servant, he smirked. "Entertain our guests for the time being." He'd use their minds to his advantage and make Kino lust for him even after is 'death'. This would be fun. Not to mention, he'd delve into Lorelai's mind to provide worrisome images. The need to save him in the end.

Focusing on the task at hand, he went underground to his cavern, not too far from the dungeons themselves. Focusing on the bloody pool before him, he smirked. Oh this would be fun. Mentally directing a servant, he waited until a village miko was tossed into the room. He kneeled before her. "Poor woman. Is there anything I can do to grant you freedom?" He watched the fear alight in her eyes, causing him to shiver. "Freedom?" Her voice was soft. He lifted her to her feet and led her to the murky pool. "Yes, freedom." As he said the last word, his claws tore into her chest and ripped out her beating heart. As she fell back into the pool, he began to chant and dropped the heart into the pool, placing his own blood on it. As he chanted, the pool began to surge.

Within minutes, something rose out of the pool. Naraku grinned maliciously as he felt the awareness of his copy come to the fore of his own mind. Excellent. "You will play host and face the group that is coming." The copy grinned. "Very well."

Once Naraku was alone once more, he cleaned himself and went to the dungeons. As he entered, he smirked as he watched the slayer look for an escape route. He was still hidden in the shadows as was his way. Summoning Kohaku, he waited. Once the boy entered, it would bring the attention of the slayer. He stood there with next to no emotion in his eyes and yet Naraku could hear the boy's mind raging at what he knew was coming. "Hello sister. Soon you will join father and the others." At that moment, Naraku stepped out. "Yes you will, but not yet. I mean to have my fun with you slayer." His eyes took in her bare form in a dark evil manner. He would enjoy this.

Meanwhile, the other Naraku had returned to the top and had proceeded to order the servants to prepare for breakfast and wake the girls. He smirked darkly. He knew what the original wanted to do. Placing a mask of sorrow on his face, he sat slumped awaiting for one of the girls to enter the dining room.

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango was frantically looking around until she saw her brother, she pulled upon her bindings but they restrained her as she said, "Kohaku!" She pulled on them as hard as she could in an attempt to break free but it was no use so she resorted to speaking to him, the lack of emotion on his face worried her but she spoke anyway, "We need to get out of here Kohaku, please! You don't have to serve Naraku!" Sango then looked to Naraku as he stepped out of the shadows and she lunged at him but again her chains held her in place as she yelled at him, "You b*****d! I'll kill you for what you've done to my people!" Sango tried to cover herself though as Naraku's gaze went trapsing down her bare form. She balled her hands up into fists as she stood there, her gaze fixated on Naraku for the most part but occasionally glancing to Kohaku.

---NARAKU---

Naraku chuckled evily as Sango yelled at him. When she tried to cover herself, he gave an evil smile. He moved closer to her, bidding the chains to tighten until she couldn't move. It would push her flat against the wall. Kneeling before her, he drew a claw down her chest, placing his miasma on it so it would hurt her more. "Now, now Sango dear. We both know you are grateful for giving you the freedom that you did not have with them." Lifting the claw, he placed it in his mouth, sucking her blood off of it.

Returning to her body, he ran his hands over her, drawing blood as his claws gouged into her flesh coupled with his miasma. He could feel Kohaku's hatred surge inside the boy's head, making him grin. Pulling back some, he slapped her across the face, his claws digging into her cheek. "I will have fun with you dear Sango." Rising, he remained focused. "Kohaku. Please welcome our guest." At that moment, Kohaku walked forward jerkily. He could feel the boy rebelling as much as he could but it was no use. He watched Kohaku raise his weapon and slice down Sango's arms. It wasn't life threatening. None of what had happened was. It was all to cause her and her brother pain.

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango grimaced as the chains tightened to the point that she couldn't move, leaving her openly exposed to Naraku's gaze. Sango held back a cry of pain as Naraku dragged a claw down her chest, trying to hold up her touch facade. Sango watched as Naraku sucked her blood off of his claw before he returned to her body. She held back yet another scream of pain as he ran his hands over her, cutting into her flesh. Sango could feel the warmth of her blood trickling down her body as she stood there, the chains providing some support as she stood there. She winced as he slapped her across the face, leaving large gashes on her cheek. Sango looked towards her brother as Naraku bid him forward and tears began to roll down Sango's cheeks as Kohaku raised his weapon and she spoke softly, "Please Kohaku. You don't have to do what he tells you. You're bett--" Sango was cut off as Kohaku cut down her arm to which she let out a small scream of pain. She was prepared to take whatever her brother needed to do, she didn't want to put him at risk; besides she could handle it..

Watching Sango, Naraku couldn't stop the pleased smile. He could feel Kohaku attempting to break free. He was livid. Focusing on Kohaku, he grinned. He would enjoy this time. He wanted her to break. He wanted her to suffer. He needed it. It brought him joy. Taking Kohaku's weapon, he inspected it. It glimmered in the shadows. Suddenly, he shoved into Kohaku's shoulder, watching him drop. "You have done well for now."

Turning to Sango, he moved up close, removing the top of his hoari to expose his chest. Moving against her, forced her head back hard against the wall, causing a sharp crack to sound out. "You will break dear Sango. I will then enjoy watching as your dear monk suffers. Perhaps I should make his wind tunnel expand just a bit more?" He chuckled darkly. Suddenly, his fangs were buried in her neck, his hand gripping her chin brutally. It wouldn't mark her as any kind of intended but it would cause pain, especially as he released his miasma into her body. Pulling back, he watched the rivelets run down her neck. "We shall leave you now slayer. Do enjoy your stay." He turned away and moved to the door. As Kohaku left, holding his shoulder, he paused at the door. Miasma suddenly expelled from his body, choking the air around her. Within the miasma, hidden beings, slashed at her body. Pulling the miasma back, he smirked back at her. "I will return shortly."

Sango the Demon Slayer

Sango's breaths were ragged as she stood there, lunging forward when Naraku shoved Kohaku's weapon into his shoulder. She tried to move away when he removed the top of his hoari but she couldn't and when he pressed himself against her she felt disgusted. Sango winced as her head was forced back against the wall and she let out a scream of pain as Naraku sunk his teeth into her neck. Sango grimaced and winced in pain as she could feel the miasma entering her body. Sango looked to her brother as he paused and she whispered his name. Sango coughed violently though as miasma filled the room she could feel blades cutting into her flesh. She let out whimpers of pain and the occasional scream with each cut, between her coughing fits. It relented as Naraku drew back the miasma and said that he'd return. Sango watched Naraku leave with her brother, her body screaming at her in agony as she rested her head back, trying to gather her wits about her.

Kino walked down the hall, sniffing quietly. She could smell food being cooked. Then she caught Lorelai's scent as she passed a room. She knocked and walked in. There was an odd smell about the room at first, but then it vanished. Kino shook it out of her mind and shook Lorelai gently. "Lori-chan. Wake up. I think he's got them making breakfast for us." She sat on the edge of the bed, pushing her hair from her face.

As Kino shook her, Lorelai slowly returned to the world of consciousness. She couldn't recall at the moment what she had dreamed about, but was left with an unshakable feeling that their kind host's life was in danger. She was filled with the need to protect Onigumo at the risk of her own life if she had to.

Lorelai's vision slowly regained focus as she blinked a few times and gave Kino a lopsided sleepy smile as her friend's face swam into view. "G'mornin' Kino-chan. Did you mention something about breakfast? I hope they have fried eggs..." Lorelai trailed off as a yawn escaped her. Lorelai was usually slightly more energetic when she woke up, but due to her restless sleep and what she vaguely remembered as a disturbing dream, it was going to take a little while for Lorelai to fully awaken. In the meantime she'd be stumbling around like a drunkard until she regained full consciousness. As Lorelai shakily stood up, she promptly walked into a wall and stared at it dumbly as though wondering where it had come from and who had put it there.
