Wash swung again, hitting the next snowman that appeared in line.
He sure hoped someone was remembering to drive. Dashing through the snow, and all that. He couldn't help the big, warm grin that spread across his face. Suddenly being teamed with Rep and Harrison didn't seem such a bad deal after all - the surges of JOY the environment induced made his previous concerns seem small and distant. They could do this all day. A few snowmen and ridiculous costumed miniatures weren't going to stop them from evacuating Otto and his teammates.
Sasha was out there, somewhere.
Wash was still smiling, but there was a hard edge to it. He was ready to spread some Christmas cheer.

As if to prove a point, four new snowmen rose from the ashes of the others, their icy curves glistening dramatically in the sunlight.

Harrison was feeling pretty merry about the whole venture himself. He knew where the good mood came from, of course, but hell. He liked working with Rep. And Wash was a Moon, even if his taste was lousy.
And snowmen were a lot better than dark, unfathomable horrors.
Or bugs.
Matter of fact, there wasn't a bug in sight. There wasn't even a risk of one. Just the danger of exploding from a case of the jollies.
And having too much damn fun kicking over these snowmen.
Harrison closelined one, decapitating it in a spray of snow.
"Looks like it's lights out for that guy," he snickered.

Rep had to steady himself from the fit of the giggles that threatened to unbalance him at that pun. "That'SNOW way to go." he added, not able to help himself in the least.
Hit hit was about as impressive as his pun.

Wash took a swing at one of the remaining three menacing(ish) figures, but misjudged and completely whiffed.
It was the sunlight reflecting off the snow okay.
As the snowmen drew closer to their sleigh, he tensed, settling the makeshift shield on his arm. Hopefully they would just - well. Plow over them.

The onslaught beat the sled up pretty bad, and it was scooting through the snow at an awkward, stuttery limp, but it was still moving.
Harrison reeled his lights back in, like a satisfied fisherman.

Two rows of massive, gleaming candy canes form the road before them, and the smell of peppermint has grown almost painfully intense. As the sled skids down toward Candy Cane Lane, a path of snowman carnage left in it's wake, the air begins to sparkle slightly, and the JOY in their system starts to become more potent than ever. In the center of the path lies a small snowglobe. Upon closer inspection, tiny, familiar figures can be seen dancing and frolicking inside.

Somehow they were alive after the ride on the sleigh. Despite the breakneck speeds, it felt like it had taken forever. He'd never felt so ******** happy to be alive, he'd never felt so ******** happy about everything. He could almost have cried at how beautiful the little snowglobe was.
"Oh man look at that wee thing. ********. I love these ******** things."
Some instinct told him it may be a bad idea to touch it.
