Mel was truly interested in James. But she was still shy. She seemed nervous each and every time she had to answer. Though as the conversation went on, she got a little less shy in her answers.

Roy smirked. "This may interest you...do you want to know about weres?" he asked. He knew a bit more than the average person did. Hunters had to be in the grey zone. They knew more about weres than the average person, but not nearly enough to be an expert.

"Hmmm, and what makes you think I'm curious of them?", she asked. Now plucking turkey meat off her turkey leg. As she finger fed herself now. Letting him still stay close to her.

Although the conversation was fun, Melanie was still nervous and curious. Why did he want to know so much about her? He had asked her questions not many people would if they were just gettting to know her. Some parts of the conversation seemed to hint at things she didn't want to know.

Roy was always watching her reactions. He slightly suspected her of being a were, but he could never be sure. Nobody could. Her eyebrows going up could be surprise, or interest. Her reply could be covering surprise, or going back to playing it cool. "Everyone is. These new creatures, where nobody can tell if they're human or beast until night. Everyone wants to know." he said. He caught quite a few weres who said they weren't intersted. This was one of his tests. This woman could be quite good at disgusing herself, or she was just another beautiful yet very smart young lady.

James LeoHe finally excused himself. Only to give her a light kiss on the head. Now he gone and 'hunted' Athena and the guy down. He watched them from the shadows again. Soon Athena was on the guys lap. Clearly teasing or trying to throw the guy off his game.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe continued to eat. Hearing him she rolled her eyes. "If I recall weres have been around for many of years. I have so many books over mythology and books with mythology in them.", she said. Looking at him now from the corner of her eye. She tossed her turkey legs away. This guy could make her loose her taste for food. Before he could think much over. She slyly slipped onto his lap letting her skirt crumple up between her legs. As she was face to face with him. "I've read so many books, so many. I know in the medieval ages a lot of the time they used one year and one day for 'judgement' or signs of death. Like how dogs in Celtic mythology like that shackle dog is used for the sign of one to die in a year and a day.", she said this. And kept her face a distance from his.

Mel was a bit sad and relieved to see him go, and her face went bright red as he kissed her on the head. She felt like blacking out right there. She worked hard to keep all those romantic novel scenarious out of her head. She read a lot of them in middle school, but had long grown out of them.

Roy knew Athena was a tease from the minute she spoke, but as she spoke, she was on his lap, and he felt on top of the world. He knew he was out of his leage with her, but he might get lucky. Possibly. He wrapped his arms around her, smirking. "Hm. So you know a lot from mythology. What about how they are now?" he tested.

James LeoHe stayed and watched them. Making sure Athena would not get hurt. Or that she would not hurt the guy. Though he knew she had high levels of self control. It was some thing she normally exercised a lot.

"They're just trying to live like families it seems. Protecting their selves and loved ones. Like how the Native Americans did when the 'white skins' had came over. To me the biggest question is... Who on this earth is the real monster? It seems like all the things us humans can't under stand we're scared of or curious. But most of us want to have test subjects of those rare things and us them to are well... Like how Chinese use a tiger's body for medicine which is proven not to help ones being.", she said. Clearly she had done a lot of research on this.

Mel was tired at this point, and decided to go home. It got pretty dark, and she didn't want to run into any weres. Some species still attacked or turned humans.

Roy smirked. "You may see them that way, but what about the bad things they do? Attacking and killing humans. Turning them or eating them. They become the hunters. Its only natural humans would want to understand what's stronger than them." he said, staring at her. "And its my job to help control the population of the dangerous ones, and keep them out of cities and towns." he said, indicating he was a hunter.

James LeoGone and looked around boredly now. He seen Mel walking off. So he stalked her from the shadows. Wondering if she would be the 'the one'. Careful of where he stepped as he continued to hide in the shadows. The thing was weres most commonly attacked the hunters for their own protection. As for eating that was for those who lost their sense of 'human' side. But to change some into new weres. It was because with some weres it was hard to find one to meet standards. And like nature laws two different species breed their off spring could not breed.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe was about to reply. But her cell phone gone off. Pulling it out of her bra she answered it. "Hello, oh hey! Sure, I'll be there in twenty.", she replied. Her tone was happy. Quickly she hung up and the voice was barely audible even to her ear. Looking down at Roy she ran fingers slowly through his hair. "Looks like I'll probably be seeing you around.", she leaned her head down to his. But pulled back before a kiss could happen. Followed by slipping off his lap now. Standing up she eye balled him before walking and waving over her shoulder.

Mel went back to her house, her mother still in Florida for a business meeting. She took a shower, and went to her room in a white robe while drying her hair with a towel. She sat on her bed to read.

Roy sighed. Something always got in the way, right when he thought he could confirm human or were. He watched her leave, and decided to go hunting in the forest. He had his weapons.

James LeoHe had continued to stalk her. And used his were sight to watch her. As he continued to hide in the shadows. To normal people he would go unnoticed. Of course he moved carefully in the shadows to keep her in his sight from window to window.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnQuickly she got to her car. And drove off for a while. Being part way home she pulled off onto a used trail by weres. After parking she took her license plate off and put it in her trunk. As she threw a hunter's net over her car. Like what most other weres would do. Soon she joined a small band of were-tigers. For the fun of it she teased a couple of the 'free' men. Who teased her back. Soon they stripped their human clothes and put them in bags before hiding them. Shifting swiftly she enjoyed her 'play' time with them. As none was trying to mount her, for now. Playfully she had a male on his back who was a bit bigger then her as she gently nipped at his neck.

Mel was blissfully unaware of someone watching her as she finishe drying her hair, and put on music. It was mostly rock and alternative. She changed into her pajamas, facing away from the window.

Roy hated nights like these. Were mating season had just started, and yet he wasn't seeing many. He figured they must have gone deeper into the forest. he could only go a certain depth until it was unsafe to go without backup.

James LeoHe blushed as he watched her some more. Still from the shadows though. Standing there he was listening to the music. Well he leaned against a tree and glanced around some. Making sure no one spotted him or sneaked up on him. Every so often he was curious of his family. His Mom was a blonde haired woman and light tan skin who was a were-cougar. As his Dad was a Native American were-cougar. He had gotten the tan side from his Dad as the hair more from his Mom.
========================================================= Athena BlackdawnShe was still picking on the male. Until she felt a paw hit one side of her rump. Jumping she got off of the male. Turning around it was one of the bigger males there. He was probably the biggest were-tiger male in this area. His coat was a rare golden color as he was part Indian from Indian. Well her blood was that of Siberian Were-tiger. Her Gramma was orphaned an raised by an Italian family after she some how got to Italy. Soon enough she changed a man into her mate. Then her Mom was born and when she grew up married an Irish-American man after her Gramma and Gran'Father moved to America. Which resulted in the now Athena.
Carefully she eyed the bigger male. Not wanting to submit as he kept trying to charge her. A way to try to scare her into submission. Finally she swung a paw at him and growled. Making it clear she was not wanting to mate. Well hisses now escaped from her. For it seemed like everyone here was now watching them carefully.

Mel wondered if things would always be this way. Her mother never being around. They looked nothing alike. Her mother was blonde haired and blue eyed. Yet she was inexperienced as a mother, and somewhat inattentive. She sat in plain sight of the window, and danced. She was no professional, but she had been taking dancing lessons.

Mel eventually got tired from dancing, and laid on the bed again. She wasn't too entertaining, but she didn't know she was being watched. Around her friends she was a lot more animated and talkative. She was now back to reading a book. This time it was a horror story. She liked those kinds of books. They never scared her, but she liked the creativity.

Roy was about to turn back, but then he heard the roars. He called for backup, and was told two hunters would be with him in three minutes. Once they arrived, they started going deeper into the forest, and eventually close enough so they could just barely see the tigers, and said nothing. They decided to wait until the fight was over to attack.
