"The Siren King, Seth Solindo...

Surprised that he had run into Tabby again so soon, he froze in his steps. When she took his hand to pull him into an empty class, he didn't argue. It was clear that she had been looking for him, which could only mean that she had something to say. "What's up?" he asked, keeping his voice low in case anyone chose to walk close by the room's door. Standing by, he eyed the chairs and tables idly, his posture relaxed as he placed his hands in his pockets. Talking to Dawn again had brought out a few memories, and he felt almost raw from the emotions caused by this entire trip through time.

Hearing his niece's words, the younger Seth almost stopped breathing. Victor, his brother? The man who had hidden himself away for years had finally contacted them. It seemed unbelievable, but he supposed that that was why he felt so elated. "Give me your transporter, Dawn." he told her, only to be given a lecture about how he wouldn't be allowed to go running off. He was still the crown prince, and they would need permission from the principal to leave campus, anyways. Her words caused him to feel impatient, and she knew that her plan was working. Seth would be mor determined than ever once she had finished speaking. "You'll need help, you know." He sighed, but didn't argue, not even when Aurora finally spoke, her bubbly personality making a huge come back after minutes of shocked silence. "Besides, a quick greeting doesn't mean he'll want to return. You'll need a lot time for talking. And catching up. And he has a family! His children are mixed. His wife is an elf. The whole reason he left was because the people will freak out if he tries to make her queen. Plus, running away loo-" She was cut off by Seth, who had turned a light shade of pink, proving that his temper was still as terrible as it had been in the palace. "Aurora! You can't say that. He was jus-" Dawn cleared her throat purposefully, her gaze hard as she spoke over him. "Just running away, as Aurie stated. Do not yell at those who speak the truth, your highness."

Tabby looked at Seth with a smile. It was probably the first smile he had seen from her in a long time. She was going to make him listen to her for once. "Seth I want you to listen to me all the way through. Bite your tongue every time you think about snapping at me because there will be a point to it in the end." The woman told him. She knew that it was a hard-to-do thing, but she was not going to try to yell at him so he at least could do that for her. "We.... you left that night I was upset and hurt. I promised myself if you didn't want me then you didn't want the things that I could give you including Yvette, but when I saw you return after so long my heart skipped a beat. I was glad that you were back. I wanted us to be a family, but that wasn't the way things worked out. You became a prince and I was just some human. For some reason that wasn't what hurt me, yes I wanted to keep my distance, but it didn't hurt me." As Tabby talked she started to understand herself and why she did some of the things that she did.
"After school was done I didn't know anyway to take care of Yvette and I couldn't fulfill my dream of being a teacher so I took up modeling and I know that you didn't like it, but I guessed I kept with the job because it annoyed you and I'm sorry for doing that. It kind of makes you look back when hundreds of men are drooling over me in underwear." She said the last part a giggle. She thought a little funny at the same time as being sorry. "I think the part that hurt me the most was when you got married because I was still and in love with you and I still am to this day. Forgive for what I've done to you because I don't want to live this way. I want to break free from your grasp." She told him before giving him a kiss. There were tears running down her cheeks from all the words she had finally revealed and brought into the light. A sphere of light gathered around them as they were transported back to their time.
When Tabby broke away everything was the same. They were back in Seth's office. "Nothing changed." She commented as she started to look around. The doors opened as Yvette looked in. "Oh crap." She commented as she made a dash for the bathrooms. "My stomach still hurts." The girl commented. Tabby continued to look around. "How?" She responded looking at her ex-boyfriend. "You didn't meet me for dinner." She answered. She knew why now. He had gone to find his brother leaving Tabby alone.

The Siren King, Seth Solindo.

It was Tabby's first words that kept him quiet, though she was right in the fact that he wanted to interrupt her several times. Yet, he kept himself quiet. She wasn't yelling or screaming, so he felt that letting her say her piece was only expected. He studied her as she spoke, trying to understand every word as she explained their past through her point of view. Seth knew that leaving her the first time had hurt her, and he could only imagine how being alone while pregnant would hurt a girl's life and future. What he hadn't expected was to hear that her love had continued. Every time they spoke after his return she had gotten upset, and they were never able to work through anything. Before he could respond, she finished with a kiss.

He had no time to react before the same sensation of time travel he'd felt earlier. They were back in his office in an instant, and he only just managed to crash onto his sofa before his legs gave way. Transportation was one thing, but this was terrible. His stomach was threatening to give up its contents, but he was able to distract himself with Yvette's re-enterance. "Me too, Vetty." He sat up slowly, inhaling and exhaling calmly as Tabby spoke again. "No. This can't...I need to know." He stood, forcing back nausea as he asked his daughter, "Can you tell me who is king?"

Yvette raised her right eyebrow and she looked at her mother who was wiping away the tears. "Mom did you curse dad again?" She asked wondering what in the world her mother did to her father. The girl turned to her father. "Um... you are." She answered her father as she finally turned to get away from her mother's wrath. "There's one of two things that could have happen." The woman commented thinking about it. "One is that you got to your brother too late or even if your brother was found he couldn't become king. Both with me leaving without ever telling you about being pregnant." She told Seth. He hadn't talked much about his family and it was probably a shock that Tabby knew so much. "Vivir y dar vivir." she said in Spanish. "I lived too close to El Paso." She had never told that she lived with many Mexican-American friends and that she knew a little Spanish even thought it was in a Mexican accent.

He nodded, not necessarily surprised by the answer he was given. At the me the mention of a curse, he looked to Tabatha, and spoke, just remembering what had occured before their travel. "Did you...?" He paused, looking back to Yvette for a moment before returning his attention back to the witch. "We...we're good...right?" He was sure that the kiss he was given was one of closure, but he was still surprised. That, doubled with the day's events, left him feeling too vulnerable. He was a king, and kings should be able to avoid such open sentiments. But he couldn't, and frankly, he didn't want to. After only a moment of hesitation, he moved quickly to pick up Yvette, hugging her closely as he told her, "I love you." Setting her down, he looked to Tabatha, nodding as she spoke about the possibilities. Searching his own memories, he tried to find the answer. Yet, all he had were the same ones from before their trip. He sighed as he told her such. "I need to speak with Aurora...and Bellatrix." It was then that he was aware again of Dawn. He was susposed to see her again. He was going to tell her of the battle at Reed's. He had wanted to warn her but...he hadn't. Seth felt his own eyes fill with water, but he refused to cry. "Ah. Texas is a state by mexico..." he added after she spoke again. A small smile appeared on his expression as he continued, trying to regain his complete composure.

"Yeah. Bitter sweet." Tabby answered Seth about their closure. "Feelings are still there, but I feel right now that I can still move forward." She answered him keeping her eyes out the window. She could really face her daughter at the comment. "Dad are you okay. Mom what did you do to him this time?" The girl asked as she looked to her mother. "Vetty go to the bathroom." The woman said putting on the 'you're in trouble face' for her daughter once the girl was scared off she walked over to Seth. She wrapped her arms around him. "Want to talk?" She asked him.

Not stopping Yvette as she was sent out, he supposed it was for the best. This was a complicated thing to discuss, and he knew that his daughter would be better off without having to sit and listen about it. Once the door was closed, he faced Tabatha, accepting her embrace as he let out another slow sigh. "Yes." He answered softly, choosing to continue holding her as he continued to speak. Now was the best time he could choose to respond to everything she had said. He would need to give his own side of things, but he would do so calmly. "Originally, I left because I had pieced together the truth of you being pregnant. I thought if I left before you told me, I could just continue in my path as prince. When I got back home, I hid from my parents why I had returned, and they figured it was because of the news of Victor's death." He took another breath, letting it out as he fought to find his words. These were things he'd refused to think of for years. "But after another affair I was almost engaged to the princess of the Cuban Sirens. I was lucky to get out of it, and that was when I realized that running wasn't the way to help you. I hadn't protected you from my race. So I told my parents about you, and our baby. They let me go back to Reed's, but they made sure that I understood my duty." He swallowed thickly, leaning down enough to kiss Tabatha's cheek before letting her go from his arms. "Now I'm here, married and being a king. Your doing well, famous and dating Camrion Sol."

Yvette didn't want to really hear it. She rather have a smile just knowing her parents were getting along again. She didn't want to know anything. It was the one thing that she wasn't looking forward to being a princess. That and having to deal with her half sister and step mother. All she wanted was just her mother and her father. That's all she ever really wanted. Tabby listened to what Seth had to say. "Even when you walked back a bit you still ran away." Tabby told him with a smile. She leaned into his ear and whispered. "You could have picked your own path by telling your parents to can it. What choice would they have had." She told him. It was true. He was the only son and if he refused to marry anyone Tabby then what would his parents do? The woman pulled away. "Doing well is a state of mind." She added. She hadn't been a real girlfriend to Cam up to this point.

The Siren King, Seth Solindo.

Although he disagreed with Tabatha's response initially, he took a few seconds to think. He was their only son left, and he could have used it as leverage. But the hurt that it would put his parents through seemed to outweigh his selfish demand; yet giving in had hurt the witch and their child. Not for the first time, he wished he had just left his right for the throne as Victor had. They could have adopted another son, or caused a change by allowing one of his nieces to rule. "I want to change it now." he whispered. He was sick of working all day, but he would deal with that for several decades longer if it meant he could give the royal family more freedom. "Let Yvette train as the crown princess." It would take some convincing and several interviews, but he was confident that they would accept her after a bit of wrangling. If that didn't work, then the family would have to step down, and let another one rule.

Tabby wasn't sure about what he meant by changing it now. Did he mean being a king or being with her. She didn't know. It didn't matter now anyways. They couldn't change the past, they just had to live for the future. "I'll let Yvette be a princess only is she wants to, with the agreement she knows what is expected of her." She wanted her child to know what she was getting into that way she could ask questions and chose her own life. Yvette smiled that her mother agreed to it. On top of that they were getting along. "Really?" The girl asked surprised. She was one more step closer to being a princess like Lyn. "I need to tell Lyn this." She said with joy. Tabby smiled at her daughter. The girl waited for her parents to dismiss her.

The Siren King, Seth Solindo.

Pleased by Tabby's response, he smiled faintly. Their daughter was just as excited as he had hoped, and knew that she would take the role seriously. Yvette cared, but he knew that the rules and what she would be sacrificing would need to be re-explained. "Go tell her now. I'm sure she'll be excited to hear from you." He flashed the girl a grin, allowing her some time to leave before he started speaking again. "Yvette becoming the crown princess will change a lot. But I want it to happen, so that she and her children will get more choices." Changing the ideology of a country was not an easy task, but he would do his best, so long as his family was willing.

Yvette smiled at took her mother's transporter. "Call me if you need me." The girl said as she disappeared with a big grin on her face. Tabby then turned to Seth. "So what things do you need me to do to get her ready? Classes? Wardrobe? Party planning?" She asked her ex. She was going to help as best she could. There were some good things about Tabby. She was fashionable, smart, and well-connected so she was a perfect person to help her daughter.

The Siren King, Seth Solindo.

Thinking for a few minutes, Seth was finally able to answer, figuring that reciving help from Tabby would be beneficial to everyone. He stepped back, choosing to turn and glance out the bewrest window as he responded, "I'll take care of finding her classes. But you're the one who should dress her up." While he usually dressed smartly, his wardrobe was often chosen by one of his courtiers and approved by his wife. "Most of the royal parties are planned by a hired person, but you would be welcome to help when Yvette is involved." The mention of parties caused him to consider the following month, in which his own birthday would occur. That day was also going to double as his new born daughter's introduction, but now he was thinking of a new plan. Yvette could also be formally introduced then, not only as his eldest daughter, but as his current heir.

That would be an interesting evening to get through, but he was willing to try. That is, if things were still on schedule. He had no idea how much things had been affected by their trip to the past, and he intended to find out before they spoke much more. "I need get some things done, and I think that maybe you should, too. We can talk by the week's end."

Tabby nodded. It was clear that he had something interesting on his mind. "I understand. I'll continue her current Spanish lesions and schooling until you request something new. I'll also start her on etiquette lesions for the time being. There is one other thing I have planed. When you introduce her as your heir I'm going to increase her modelling schedule. It'll allow the people a glimpse of their princess." The woman commented. She was going to do her best until the plans change. She was looking out for her daughter as much as Seth was and she was going to fine tune Yvette into a princess. The woman put part of her thumb and her pointer in her mouth, letting out a whistle.

In a puff Yvette appeared. "I was at Lyn's door when you called. Now it's going to look like I ding-dong ditched." The girl complained. She would just have to tell her friend at school. "We're going tell your father goodbye." The woman requested. Yvette smiled. "Bye Dad, by the way I want to meet my sister next time I come." Yvette told her father as she held onto her mother's hand. With a puff they were both gone.

The Siren King, Seth Solindo.

Listening to Tabby's agreement, he nodded at certain intervals, showing her that he was listening. The idea of modeling was acceptable, and he agreed that it might help her set a distinct image for the change their society and his people were going to be going through. He turned as Yvette was summoned, causing him to gain a small smile. Seth's smile only grew as his daughter mention her next visit, as he would adore having a meeting between the two half-siblings. Once they were gone, he turned back to the window, realizing just how many things had been set in place that day.

{Epilogue~}

Nothing changed in Seth's life. After speaking with his niece, Aurora, he was able to conclude that not a single thing in his past had been tampered with. But he did discover that there were other universes, parallel ones that could hold completely different events. With the help of a timelady name Patricia, he was able to learn some things about what occured his strange timeline.

The younger Seth's departure from Reed's caused much confuion in the kingdom, leading many to fear that he, too, had also run away. The theory was proven wrong upon his return, where he explained to his parents where he had been. Seth had gone to find his brother, thanks to Dawn's odd tip. His brother was informed of what would happen soon, and the family, along with many others, were able to leave the village before any attack. However, Victor still could not rule after having left his chance at the throne and marrying a woman of different race. After officially being named heir, Seth was allowed to return to Reed's and meet his daughter. Seth still became king after his father's death, but he did not immediately marry. The Irish princess was only an option for several years as he tried to change his people's thoughts on tradition by introducing his own lovely daughter as a potential heiress.
