"Well Mr. Blackrose I am good at making costumes and I play a number of instruments. I am pretty handy with AV equipment and stage rigging. I helped in a small theater near my home one summer...." her thoughts drift off as she remembered how fun it was that summer, well until they asked her to sing and dance and she found out that she ended up stealing the souls of a few humans, but she would skip that part. Payne smiles shyly, hoping that he says yes.

Seth's gargoyles started to move as if agitated it was rare for the mere presence of a being to make his pets uneasy still how can one deny talent? "Well they don't seem to like you but they never leave the room and never attack without permission or immediate danger. Still I'll let you join my troupe." Seth was unsure how to react to his gargoyles not liking her that never happened...

"Thank you Mr. Blackrose! I will work very hard for you!" She steps a step back as the gargoyles seem to be irritated. "Sometimes pets sense my aura..." she decides to fess up. "I..um...well, I have this thing, ...ugh! I will just tell you now before you find out later. Sometimes when I sing and dance, I end up stealing souls. It is a curse...but don't worry, I won't ruin your show. That is why I asked for a back stage position. I dreamed of being an actress but as you now know, that is not possible."

"Minor detail you could do both in the day you could be backstage at night you could act, my clients at night tend to not know the meaning of the word much less ever had one. Seth hugged the girl to comfort her he did not want to have one of his people be concerned with their...passive abilities. "Come now what shall you do in my burlesque? I admit it rather...suits my employees. He said with a wink at her.

"Thank you Mr. Blackrose! Are you sure? That would be wonderful! Though I am untrained but I will study hard to be good enough." She was so excited that her shyness faded away. Burlesque? I've never tried anything like that. I could play the piano or some other instrument and sing." She liked her new boss and would do anything for him.

Payne sits at the piano and plays for him a folk song and sings a milk girl song. She starts off singing of milking cows and how the maidens go up the hill to the cows. Then she dances a little dance pretending to milk the cows then sings of how young girls want to be with young boys. She cups her breasts and sings of how the milk maids and cows were similar then she goes back to the piano and finishes the song. When she was done she waits to hear what Mr. Blackrose thought of her song.

Seth did not particular care for the song but he admitted she had potential. "That was nice now a Burlesque is a type of caricature of a play or something along that lines." Seth said apprently reading her mind he walked them out to avoid the low growling of the gargoyles, which frankly were getting on his nerves. They walked out and Seth noticed...even more girls oy vey... Seth rolled his eyes oh well he might as well start.

Payne was just happy that he had not told her she was terrible. "Oh, I see. like a parody? It sounds interesting. I am looking forward to learning more about this burlesque." She scoots around the gargoyles that certainly did not seem very friendly, Payne smiles to Mr. Blackrose and follows him out towards the stage.

((12/27/12 - It's been 10 days and no responses. So I am going to assume that this is dead. Let me know if you revive it later.))
