Melvin gave Rep a flat look, clicking his pen twice. "If there was such a thing as karma, you'd have less limbs."

Rep looked a little surprised by the retort, as if finding that an adorable fuzzy creature actually had some pretty sharp teeth, but the sting of the insult quickly twisted into amusement. He was almost proud of goldilocks sometimes.

"Magnificent bastards are immune to karma okay."

"What part of ya is magnificent? Ah'd think yer pretty standard." Ofelia couldn't help but respond, though her question was actually not...laced with sarcasim. To the redhead, someone magnificent was like...the division heads. Rep was a guy who just was an a*****e sometimes who got away with murder most all of the time.

Literally

Rep looked nonplussed as Melvin continued to deny his magnificence. "You wouldn't know magnificent if it bit you in the arse."

Ofie got the same dismal look as he bristled. "Who rattled your cage? I didn't ask for your opinion, peasant."

"Peasant? As in like...thatch roof cottage type?" Ofelia raised an eyebrow, wondering where that came from. " . . . kinda cool actually, am Ah a peasant from the era were serfdom was in full swing or like....the end of it?"

Silly Rep, Ofelia loved the middle ages you stepped onto a landmine.

"Or like jus' peasant as in poor or of low birth an' standin' but wit' a chance ta improve mah station? As in like pauper maybe?" She could go on and on. "Also wasn' really much'a opinion as it was a question, but okay."

Also Melvin totally got the middle finger from Ofelia as she caught him glancing at her. If he could be pissy then should could she, only Ofelia was less subtle about her feelings. Way, way less subtle.

There was the beep of a phone followed by the loud guffaw of laughter in the hallway before a dark-skinned hunter slipped through the door. Still chuckling, Wash grabbed a seat near Sasha, glancing at his form and jotting down a few things. He didn't remember much, having been passed out for most of it, but he made sure to include all he could recall from before the incident in the fog.

"Princess, heh heh," he murmured to himself. Clearing his throat, he addressed her a little more audibly. "I miss anythin'?"

"That is very true." Ofelia could only nod in pure agreement, perhaps totally denying Rep the fight back he might have wanted from her. She had told him before she knew where she stood with him, somewhere on the high end of the low end, or something. "Who knows then, maybe Ah'll jus' have ta ask Allan ta marry me."

It was a random name drop, brought on by a past conversation with Sasha. The mention of her in her mind had the teen look at her and grin, wave, and then turn her attentions back to Jerry. He seemed...a little worse than usual? It was hard to tell, and he got sort of a pitying look from the teen.

"There's q-quite a few hunters who do it, actually." Jerry was still red faced in his chair, his voice quiet as he turned his rhythmic tapping into small circles on the wooden tabletop. "It's... it's definitely a nice feeling of security, I imagine. Even if it's... m-more about the Death Do Us Part."

He didn't like this conversation.

Nor did he like the smell of Rep's breath.
