Ray smelt the strange scent on the air, "Ack!" he sniffed harder - dramatically twirling in place to smell the air all around him, lowering his voice to gravelly whisper, "What are ye? Where are ye? ...Be ye friend or be ye foe, I shall sniff ye out before I go!" he was still smiling in a somewhat creepy manner, his ears turning in all directions. "What devilment is this?"

Linnet watched as the space around her became darker and darker when entering the silo. Only small amount of light trickled through from the outside. Her body was on high alert as soon as they entered; she wanted to know if the inside was safe and stood perfectly still to listen. She couldn't hear anything but the other rabbits around her and some small rodents scuffling about however. Her nose began twitching as the scent of grains, rodents, and an aging sent of cat finally reached her nose.
Linnet nodded when she heard Camellia, though she didn't think that the doe might not have seen the gesture. Linnet turned her head back towards Ray when she heard him not quite knowing how to answer the old storyteller. Or if he wanted an answer at all.

- staff post -
The tom cat jumped from his nest and turned to the silo's door, his hackles already up as his tail began to bottle brush. Rabbit. He was pretty sure it was rabbit he smelled.
In fact, there seemed to be one here.
Hissing loudly at Dogsbane, the cat grinned wickedly. He might be old, but he still had claws.
"What's wrong, bunny? Cat... got your tongue? Oh, I should think so."
He chuckled to himself before moving to the side, starting to circle the lone rabbit.

At Ray's dramaticism, Crocus almost jumped out of her skin. She hissed angrily at the other rabbit. "Do you want to get us all killed with that noise?" But before she could say anything else, movement and noise by the door caught her attention. Dogsbane. Something was wrong. Hammering her foot against the floor to call her group's attention to the danger, she hurtled across the silo floor. Today was a good day to die!
For the cat, that is. Inlé take her before she let one of her teammates down.

Camellia's ears went right up and she quickly turned around. She tried really hard to ignore Ray while she listened to the noise outside as she followed after Crocus. "Something is not right guys. There is something out there with Dogs..." she said, now peeking out of the silo into the distance while Crocus rounded everyone up. Heart pounding, she knew danger is about to show up.

Dogsbane smirked at the old cat. Yes, it was experienced and perhaps it was still baring teeth and claws, but he could see the age in its face. He'd bet Dropwort could move faster! In his brain, he had a plan already ready. He doubted he could kick the silo to alert his team and still have time to run, but he didn't have to. He heard his owsla stamp her foot and smirked. "They all know you're here. Follow me and you may meet I'nle."
He didn't wait. The cat was already almost upon him and he had to move fast. He was happy his legs were already set and used them to spring back the way he'd come, kicking a small shower of loose dirt at the feline. He cried to his team as he ran for the door. "Cat. Cat! Cat!" He dove into the silo door and into the darkness, panting. He hoped they were still there and hadn't left at the foot thumps.

Linnet heard noise from outside the silo, something was wrong. She suddenly heard Crocus’ foot come down on the floor. The others had heard something too. She immediately turned back to where they had entered and where Crocus was now.
What was that? The pfeffa?
She waited beside Camellia as still as she could, wondering what was about to happen.
Dogsbane came barreling through yelling about danger. It was indeed the cat. Linnet didn't know what to do in this situation, but with all these rabbits they could surly fight off a cat.

No sooner had Crocus thumped and taken off than Darkbrier followed, barreling back across the silo floor to the entrance. She might not be as fast as the others, but Frith and Inle' help her, the seemingly gentle giant could be downright vicious when she needed to be. As Dogs bolted back inside warning them of a cat she lined herself up to help Crocus. The Pfeffa was about to get his teeth kicked in if she had anything to say about it.

"You heard him, there's a cat in here!" the Owsla shouted as a streak of rabbit shot past her, no longer caring about being or, really, needing to be quiet. "Either get to the door and be ready to flee, or get ready to fight! Let's show this embleer elil what it means to be a rabbit!"
The fact that most people would tell you that this means running away, being cowardly, and also being delicious was utterly and completely lost on Crocus. This building was a trap, yes, but traps could be turned on the trapper. That cat was surrounded by creatures that wanted him dead or maimed. He wasn't getting out of there unscathed.

Camellia moved back a bit, pushing Linnet along with her, at the sight of Dogs racing into the silo.. "I don't know what will happen Linnet, but i won't let anything happen to you" she shouted as she ready's herself for a fight. Ears lowered again, crouching low to the ground, Camellia is ready to leap. jfghkjdfghfkjhfkjfh will edit this later

Ray completely missed the owsla hissing at him, but the sudden alarm set off by Crocus' foot hammering sent Ray leaping off the ground in shock, "Ack nooo! What is this? The clouds, they have opened up... ahhh the sound of thunder fills me ears!" he grabbed both his tattered ears, pulling them down under his chin, "Frith, why do ye taunt me so? Where are the wee butterflies now??"
Suddenly noticing the cat, Ray froze in place, "Elil - a fuzzy wee mewser! You canea take me whiskers!" he danced nervously from foot too foot as made his way to the door in an attempt to flee the scene.
((OOC: and this is about as helpful as Ray gets guys ^^; ))
