Xeven's eyes lit up like two purple lights. "Really? Thanks Lucien! Lucien, Lucien, Lucien~" she giggled like a child. She dived back onto the couch and put her arm around the boy's shoulder. She hadn't been this happy since... ever. She kicked her legs back and forth, trying her best not to sing out in joy. She tilted her head to the side and beamed up at him. "Miziki said you were weird. So I thought would be a real strange guy - you know - shady n' stuff. But you seem normal enough. Well, from what I see now..." Chuckling, she squirmed onto the floor and wiggled around on the carpet. Even the ground in the dorm was comfortable. She stopped, laying on her back, and looked up at Lucien from the floor. "I think I may be the weirdest person in the world," she laughed a red blush crossed over her face.

Lucien laughed nervously as he kicked his feet up on the coffee table. Every time his sister had friends over, she would always address him as 'the weird one'. It didn't make him angry, but he felt it was getting a little repetitive. He leaned his head back and smiled. "Yeah, make yourself at home. Your the only one my sister brought home that didn't try to beat the crap out of me." he said as he closed his eyes.

Xeven sat there for a second, blinking silently. He told her to make herself at home and that was just what she would do. She kicked off her shoes and crawled to the front door, not wanting to stand up. Neatly she placed the shoes near then entrance and crawled back into the living room. "I would never beat the crap out of you... Unless I had a reason, that is." She reached up and removed Lucien's shoes a well. Her father said men appreciated things like that if she could remember properly. "If anyone tries to beat you up I'll break their spines next time!'" she said sweetly, pinching the boy's toes. She pulled herself up to sit besides him and looked at him questioningly. "That is what friends do right? I'm not really an expert at this stuff..."

"I'm not really an expert at this either...I'm not used to friends.." The teen admitted as he rolled onto his back. "If anyone touched you, I would..um...stab them in the eye with a pencil!" he joked as his eyes slowly closed again, but popped open. Lucien was starting to get very fond of Xeven, but like most crushes, he didn't want to tell her.

Laughing, Xeven scooted closer to Lucien - their hips so close they looked as if they were glued together. She rested her head on the taller teen's arm and smiled. "Well it's nice finally have someone who is willing stab an eye out for me," she cooed. She followed Lucien's example and closed her eyes. He was warm, so she nuzzled into him with a cheerful hum. So this is what having a friend is like. I love it! Just an hour ago she wouldn't have even looked at someone for five whole seconds, and now she was cuddled up next to someone she basically just met. But he was more than tolerable and made her feel... different. She reached down and looped her pinky finger around his. "I can tell we're going to be best friends...." she softly, though it was supposed to remain in her head. Part of her hoped he didn't hear but another half wanted him to know that she would trust him to be a close person to her.

Lucien grinned as he put his arm around Xeven. "Hehe..yeah...best friends.." Surprisingly, he forgot about his mother's death completely as he started to fall asleep, but his eyes popped open. How do I say that I..uh...like, like..her..

Xeven, eyes closed and silent, breathed slowly. She was content and snug next to her new friend. Before she drifted to sleep, her cellphone rang, making her jolt a bit. She slipped the flip-phone out of her pocket and looked at the caller ID. It was her grandmother. If it had been anyone else she would ignore the call, but the old woman was slowly dying and the least she could do was answer. "One second, Lucien." She wiggled away from him and stood on her feet, flipping the phone open and putting it to her face. "Grammie?" she asked, her face burning with self-consciousness. She never ever thought of calling her something more fitting for her age like "grandma" or "grandmother". "Yes, Grammie. Things are cool here I guess... Yeah... Friends? Um- yeah! Well one that I know for sure is my--... Yes Grammie it's a boy... None of that, woman!" The girl blushed wildly and shook her head. After another minute she closed the phone and set it on the coffee table. "Silly old bat. You'd think dying would make her bitter! But no, she is so... alive," she laughed, sitting back down. "I want to introduce you to her before she passes away. She said she wanted to meet my new friend," she said with a small grin.

"Pfft, at least she's alive. My grandparents, according to my mother, dissapeared, and were found dead inside a restaurant- like my dad. The only living relatives I have left is my Uncle Alois and his wife Xia. He's such a pervy dude, tall too. Xia is a pretty small, frail, women, but she's sweet. And my Aunt Eva is a bitter piece of work." Lucien explained.

Xeven stayed silent, captivated by everything her companion was saying. The only people she ever knew in her family were her parents and grandmother, so hearing about his was very interesting. She put a finger to her finger and thought, imagining the people as he described them. When he finished she grabbed his arm and pulled it towards her. "I want to meet them, your uncle Alois and aunt Xia and even Aunt Eva!" she yelped. She petted his hand and cocked her head to the side. "Are you a pervert?" she asked, looking at him innocently. On the inside she was cracking up. That was defiantly a question that would catch someone off guard. She didn't really care, but just wanted to tease the boy a bit to see how he would react.

"I don't know when Alois and Xia are coming back from France, but Eva teaches shape shifting, Greek and some other subjects at the school here." he explained. His whole face went bright red once Xeven asked him if he was a pervert. "Uh...I-I don't think so.."

Lucien's red face was enough to throw Xeven into a giggled fit. She reached up and patted his cheek lovingly before giving it a small squeeze. "How adorable! No need to get red. Honestly we're all perverts some point in our lives," she assured. "Sometimes we can't help it," she said with shrug. Flipping some hair over her shoulder, she laid her head back on his arm and looked up at him. "Sirens are naturally thought to be perverts, whores, and sluts...Do you know what sirens love to eat, dear Lucien?" she said with a small smirk.

She wants to eat my d*ck. Lucien laughed nervously as he flopped onto the floor. "ANYWAAAAAY, What classes are you taking?" he asked, wanting to get off the subject.

Xeven laughed on the inside, knowing the poor boy thought she meant something else when she hinted at what sirens ate. Sirens for hundred of years had a taste for almost anything living. They would pick their meals down to the bone and want even more. Xeven's mother occasionally fed her human as a child but she grew to love human foods. She frowned down at Lucien and folded her arms. "Let's see... First hour demon and angel culture, then swimming, after that is photography, Arabic, American literature and film study, " she said lazily. "Have any of those?" She pulled her legs up onto the couch and laid on her side.

Lucien stopped and thought for a moment. "I have Demon and Angel culture first too....and photography with you too! I think you have American Film Study with my younger sister." he replied as he crawled towards to the coffee table and grabbed the remote for the TV. "Wanna watch some TV?" the delightful teen asked.

Xeven was glad to hear that she would have some classes with people she knew. As soon as Lucien said 'TV' she jumped off the couch and next to Lucien. It was like a jolt of electricity shot through her body and she smiled, nodding wildly. She had never once watched any television. Her mother and father despised media and her grandmother just never had money to buy a TV. "Oh yes!" She bounced up and down in her spot, eyes fully of childish joy. Her toes wiggled beneath her leggings and looked up at the television, waiting for its awakening. "This is so exciting!"
