Aster stepped forward. "We are soldiers, from the force that helped halt the ruin from destroying the rest of our lands. We have come to Orion to assist with the situation. The swarm scheduled to arive... I am certain we can defeat it. We have defeated more than we can count." she said confidently, so the man could see she was serious. "However... we lack afew basic necessities for combat. I lack armor, and my companions lack water and such for the trip... We were hoping you'd be able to assist us? We'd only be borrowing your supplies for a while. All for the benifit of the kingdom." she said.

The Sentinel sighed. "As much as I'd like to believe such a story. Your sword would definetly prove such a point." Notcing Dragon Bane and sensing it's energy. "Even if we did have armor and weapons to give. We gave it out to people to form a militia and to form a new sentinel unit. As for food and water. We donated as much as we can to the citizens. We're already on rations. At this rate, we won't last a week." He thought as he would think about it. "As well, I don't see any mages in your party. How do you propose to stop the estimated numbers of Hundreds. Do you not fear being over run?" He asked as he scanned the few of them. "It's not that I don't want to believe you. I really wish you we're the solution, but with your current group... it seems rather unbelievable." He sighed slightly defeated. "You may come in of course. Help yourselves to maybe some conjured food and water. Just don't expect any heroic ceremony."

Aster raised Dragonbane. "We have wills of iron, able to pierce anything with our mentality alonez We'll defeAt them as any soldiers, with our blades. You'd be surprised." she said. Aster lowered Dragonbane. "Thank you sir, we are grateful. We'll sparringly use your supplies." she said. Aster turned to the others and nodded, then began heading inside...

Frederick would walk into the front gates. Behind him he dragged to Ruin Raptors behind him. Many weapons on his back. A dire fur cloak on his back. Ruin Scales covering his full plate armor. His focused eyes piercing through his thick helm. The scales covering the runes on his armor. He looked back to see if his partner was following him...

Rowan followed Frederick behind, her eyes kept on the ground as she walked. She looked pale. Many cuts and bruises on ber skin from the trecherous week in the wilderness, having to face the raptors. Her eyes were unusually dull. She didn't speak as the guards welcomed them, simply followed.

"Come now Rowan! We are a bastion of hope now! Cheer up!" He tried to inspire her. He had armor to protect her, and she had him. It might have been just the sights... but he couldn't help that. "I can carry you if you want! Just cast that spell on me and I'll take these raptors and you too the local in! We can have stew and maybe some ale if they have a chance!"

Rowan looked up at Frederick with her dull eyes and shook her head slightly, before redirecting her gaze to the ground. She could hear the people around them struggling, as they argued for food. This place was pretty bad, though not as bad since it was rumored to be the safest. She could only imagine what happened in Arun.

Frederick would sigh. "Comon Rowan..." he laid the raptors on the ground. Kneeling down in front of her. His hand taking hers. "You have to stay strong. We can go back to Arun you know! Any time! It must make you sick to your stomach wondering how your family is..." He thought of something right away. "They are in another country. Maybe Arun had barely gotten it. I mean it is much like Orion, but every in Arun knew magic. Maybe they we're all better off."

Rowan shook her head once more, her blue hair covering her face as it hung. Her grip was weak in his hands. She slowly lifted her head towards him. "That huge creature..." she mumbled. "The first to strike Arun...we saw it as we were at the top of the mountain.... It struck the tower... And the temple.... My parents work in the tower.... Faron....."she mumbled. She had seen it, as she left. The massive ruin creature swoop in from the sky, and tear the temple to shreds. Its power was so imense it completely shattered their protection barrier. "It was crushed. Torn. Anhilated. Everyone in it. Gone." she hung her head again, taking a slow breath, her voice wavering. "There's nothing....."

Luna stepped up to the sentinel quite irritated, "I beg your pardon good sir but I am a Battle-Mage, my place of birth also happens to be Orion, if you do not believe me there might be a few mages left that might remember me." She glared at him a few moments then backed off. It was quite understandable that she could be mistaken for a warrior because if her attire, but still....
Ariana stopped as the large wolf stepped right in front of her, she stared at it, then looked around surprised that either no one didn't mind that there was a 6ft wolf sitting there or... They didn't see him? She shook her head and looked at the wolf once more. "It is true what you say but... Do I know you?" The confused look was plain in her face and as weary as she was she tried to be as polite as possible.

The sentinel sighed wearily. "Under normal circumstances, I would have been intrested to see you fight. Though we're not. So please, move along. I am sure that any one of the wizards have already taken to this quirky group."
"You have forgotten of me already? I am the one and only Tao." He stood even taller and prouder for a swift moment before returning to his normal posture. "Delenos has me bound to this earth as he told me he needed a guardian before he sent me home. I am certain that this counts towards both of our goals." He panted slightly. "I am here to help, but inderectly of course." He reached to his other side. Pulling up a horn from seemingly no where. "Just blow into it when you need my assistance against the ruin monsters. I know your all very capable, but their are some things in ruin they haven't encountered yet. This would be one of them..."
Frederick sighed. He took off his helmet. "Look Rowan. Listen to me. We lose people. People get hurt. Like you and I. I've lost everything already. I know it feels like that you have too, but look around. Their are so many people we saved who would be dead without our help! We can repair the damage!" He stood up to his feet. Fist in front of himself shaking. "We are humans and we have gone through worse than a little scrape than this. We're going to come back from this, and when we do. We will be stronger than before. Now we are going to get rested up, and we are going to see what we can do for this city. You with me?" Holding out a hand for her.

((Well, this got trippy quick.)) Rowan stared at Frederick's hand silently for a few moments. "I...don't want to live anymore...." she said in a clearer, dead voice. "Faron. I want to die. Only then I'll see them again..." she said. She looked up, seeing the weapons on his back. Her staff fell from her grip and she stepped towards him. "You can help....just one hit...."

Frederick was a little shocked by the turn of events. He grabbed her and held her up until he was standing. "I'll give you what you want." He would smack her across the face. Still holding her her sleeve so she wouldn't fall over. Pulling her back to him. "You don't know if their dead! Not only that, even if they we're. You'd never join them by allowing a friend to kill you! That is practically suicide and celestials don't approve of such actions! What your doing is immoral. Especially when you still have so much to give. I know how it is to lose family and friends, but they would want you to move on. To live a full life. Now you still going to give up? Let your family honor crumble to peices? End a family legacy because you were alone?"

Rowan took his hit and stumbled back, not bothering to touch her throbbing cheek. She stared at him with slightly wide eyes, digesting his words. She trembled, pulling away. "I don't care, I want to die!!" she yelled. "I'm not as strong as you to handle it... I'm too weak... I've always been weak... At the bottom of my classes... You'd have to hit harder than that if you want to help... Anyplace is better than this hell. This is a hell... hellish enough to kill a small innocent boy... things will get better? That's what they always say. And they lie." she said. "It's only a small matter of time before you and I die... I want to die... I want to die..." she mumbled and trailed off.

"You owe me!" He slapped her again on the other side of the face. "Even after all my friends we're killed. No family, no friends, nothing left to lose! I came through for you! We came through for your city!" He pulled her up to his face. "Life is about what you give before death. What you give to others! We have that..." He cringed a bit. "Don't give up on me like this! Not like this!"
