Male: Seraphiel (if he has roses), Elohim
Name Meaning:
Asphodel - Asphodel is a flower such as this. I chose the name Asphodel in reference to the Asphodel Meadows, a location in the ancient Greek underworld. (Additionally, the Hell depicted in Dante's Inferno has been heavily influenced by the ancient Greek underworld, so I found the influence suitable for a child of Messiah.) The souls of neutral people, those who were neither good nor evil, were sent to the Asphodel Meadows after death. Asphodel flowers were also planted on graves and associated with Persephone, who sometimes wore a crown or garland of asphodels. I found this fitting because Florian and Shoshana each wear a garland and a crown of roses. <3
Serafina - an Italian female given name adapted from the Hebrew seraphim (singular seraph), meaning "burning ones." The term can refer to six-winged angels, but in the Hebrew bible, the word "seraph" refers to serpents.
Seraphiel - quoted from here, "...Seraphiel holds the highest rank of the Seraphim . . . In some texts, he is referred to as the Angel of Silence. Eponymously named as chief of the Seraphim, one of several for whom this office is claimed, Seraphiel is one of eight judge angels and a prince of the Merkabah . . . He is beautiful like lightning and the light of the morning star." Particularly important is that he is called the Angel of Silence. The rose has been a symbol of secrecy and silence for a long time. In Greek mythology, Aphrodite gave her son Eros a rose, and he gave it to Harpocrates, the Greek god of silence, so that the affairs of the gods would remain secret.
Elohim - Elohim is the Hebrew word for God or gods (singular or plural), so I'm sort of... uh... perpetuating the blasphemy/irreverence in the Messiah line.

(Please note that I will refer to the foal as Sera from this point on. <3 :3 Additionally, I will refer to Sera as male, although the same plot points apply if Sera is female.)
Personality:
If there's one thing that's constant and immovable, it's Sera's stubbornness. This is reflected in his temperament: "adamantine" (diamond-like; in reference to Satan's unbreakable chains and unbreakable angel armor in Paradise Lost, the walls that surround Tartarus, among various other poetic literary sources). As a foal, while he's still growing up, Sera tends to be a bit selfish and self-serving... as are all young children; I plan for him to grow out of this as he matures. Seraphiel isn't evil, but he is impulsive and emotional, taking all statements by others to heart very seriously while saying (or doing) things he doesn't mean whenever he loses his temper. Seraphiel never feels like he's fully part of something: his appearance sets him apart from the herd and he feels like he doesn't have a family because Messiah isn't the most paternal figure in the world. Sera envies pure angeni and close-knit families because he feels like they have everything he doesn't. As Sera grows, he becomes increasingly confused and lonely. He feels like he inherited some "black mark" from his father and this affects his relationships with almost all other Soquili. Sera struggles with self-doubt; he doesn't know if he's "good" or "evil" because he doesn't feel like he is either, but others often treat him like he's rotten and its out of his control. Sera perceives this to be worse than it actually is, because he takes everything to heart and, over time, becomes slightly paranoid. This is also a source of a lot of frustration for Sera; he wants to believe that he's not doomed to be a likeness of his dad, but then he does something selfish without meaning to or really thinking about it, and wonders if he really is a bad person. As he grows from a foal to an adult, Seraphiel will gain confidence in himself, become gentler and learning to be altruistic.
Plots:
Beauty and the Beast: Sera meets a pretty young filly (or colt, if Sera's female) who becomes his playmate. Later, he develops a childhood crush on her, only to be snubbed by her family due to his dark coloring and (or) his father's line. Her family cuts off all contact with Sera, prohibiting the two foals from even talking to each other, and Sera loses a friend. He goes to the ladies in his own family (his mother, Florian; his aunt, Briallan; his grandmother, Shoshana), seeking advice and wisdom: why was he treated like this? What can he do? At this point, Sera learns a little of his father, even if not directly told who his father is. Sera puts two and two together and notices that his father is treated with disapproval by some Soquili, and he perceives a stigma on his father's line. Ultimately, he and his family are unable to do anything to convince his friend's parents that he is a suitable companion for their daughter, and he loses touch with the filly. Black Sheep: After the incident with his filly-friend, Sera views his parentage with a new perspective. He becomes a little paranoid about how other Soquili treat him, and mentally questions if he is being judged for everything he does in and out of the herd. He seeks support from his siblings and asks them how they feel they are being treated, and if they feel the same doubts that he does. This can go either way, depending on how his brother(s)/sister(s) feel. If they don't share Seraphiel's fears, Seraphiel will begin to feel isolated and will start becoming secretive; he will feel alone and wonder, "Why me?" If Sera's siblings do share his fears, they may decide to have a family discussion with their mother. [participants: Seraphiel's siblings]
Born on a Bed of Roses (the Primrose Path): Sera becomes frustrated and begins developing a guilt complex over his blood relationship to his father. To compensate, he throws himself into his mother's family line deeper than ever before, developing an insatiable desire to intimately know their history. He begins to form a strong identity centering on the entire herd itself; no longer is he just a son of Florian, but a son of the Primrose and Hope herd. He views his grandmother as his mentor, perhaps eliciting mild envy or hurt in his mother because he seeks out Shoshana's advice more than Florian's. Sera also develops a desire for male role models, and begins attempts to interact with his grandfather, Oracle; his uncle, Winter Rose; and his cousin, Cadhla. Sera begins viewing direct blood relation with increasing importance. [participants: the entire herd]
Fall from Grace: (This may be tied into the previous plot.) Seraphiel may inadvertently start minor conflict within the herd because he places an inordinately strong emphasis on blood relation. In contrast to the ways of the herd, he does not view (for example) Shilo, Meykal, or Kisha as his family members because he is not related to them by blood. Possibly he gets into an argument about the relevance and importance of blood ties in a family, and makes a thoughtless statement like, "If you aren't blood related, you aren't my real family." This can result in a retort about Seraphiel's father, maybe something like, "Your father is blood, but he doesn't raise you, we do," and this results in hurt feelings all around. Sera is left feeling torn, confused, hurt, and angry, and doesn't even know if he should be filled with guilt and remorse. [participants: the entire herd]
Speak of the Devil and the Devil Shall Appear: For the first time, Sera meets his father. Seraphiel is immediately drawn in by Messiah's charming, charismatic nature and led to implicitly trust his father; he is unable to understand why his grandmother dislikes Messiah so much. Regardless of how Florian behaves towards Sera's dad, Sera will be overjoyed at Messiah's appearance and not even think twice about why Messiah was missing for much of Sera's childhood. If Sera's siblings react badly to their father's appearance, Seraphiel will likely incite an argument with them, defending Messiah. Perhaps Messiah witnesses this? Blood is Thicker than Water: Seraphiel ignores any warnings he gets from his herd and actively seeks out Dad for what he thinks is some father-son/daughter "bonding" time, not realizing that Messiah agrees not out of paternal love but out of a desire to manipulate his children. Sera's siblings may be invited as well (but not their mom) on the first encounter. This strengthens Sera's trust in his father, even if his siblings (or his mom or grandma) react badly. Messiah takes this opportunity to learn about his children -- what they love and hold dear, what their values are, how impressionable they may be -- and evaluate their "usefulness." There may be another outing for family bonding, and Florian may come along -- if Shoshana permits this outing, she may insist that it be done under her supervision. Seraphiel is not the center of attention; he pays close attention to how his mother and father interact. [participants: Messiah, possibly Sera's siblings, possibly Florian]
Devil in the Details: Messiah has left the Primrose and Hope herdlands, and Seraphiel is discontent. Sera still believes blood relation is extremely important for a family, and he wants his mother and father form a traditional, ideal family unit... even if it means separating his mother, siblings, and himself from the herd. He learns what lifemating is and completely overlooks Florian's decision not to lifemate with Messiah and those implications (specifically, that Florian and Messiah do not want to stay together for their entire lives). Sera attempts to reunite Florian and Messiah, disregarding the feelings and desires of everyone else involved, only to have his attempts backfire. In the process, he manages to offend members of the herd, anger his father, and upset his mother and grandparents. After being called selfish and inconsiderate, Messiah begins to distance himself from both his family and his herd. [participants: the entire herd, Sera's siblings, Messiah]
Brand of Cain: Frustrated, Seraphiel leaves the protection of the Primrose and Hope herd for what is meant to be a short time. This is meant to be a spiritual retreat, a time when he can relax, view the world with a fresh mind, and make a clean start. He leaves the herd with the hopes of coming to terms with his father's lineage and then finding a love in his life. Instead, he hears about a dark Soquili with six wings -- a stigma, the "mark of Cain," -- and this spurs him into an attempt to find all members of his father's family. Sera sets out on a mission to prove that not all descendants of Lucifer are corrupt, but doesn't know what he will find. [participants: various relatives of Messiah? <3]
Baptism of Fire: Sera wanders alone, not ready to face his herd and family just yet -- he is still torn and upset over what happened in Devil in the Details. He travels the wilderness until he meets an angeni of the opposite sex, and he is awed at first sight. He attempts to speak to her, but she turns him down. Unwilling to give up, he follows her. She tells Seraphiel that he's acting irrationally, but he responds that he doesn't care, he's no longer sure what's rational or not... not to mention he's starting to view her evasiveness as a game, like "playing hard to get." The angeni attempts to escape by leaping over a long fall such as a ravine, a canyon, or a waterfall, using her wings to help her, thinking that Sera would stop. (If Seraphiel has wings, then at the beginning of this RP he had suffered an injury -- this plot requires him to be unable to fly for at least a short time.) Seraphiel attempts to leap across as well, but his hoof gets caught and he can't make the distance. To the angeni's horror, he falls, tumbling against rock on the way down, and falls unconscious. He awakens to find the angeni treating his wounds. Sera apologizes, and the two finally have a real conversation. He expresses wonder of her "purity" and abilities as a result of her angeni blood. Seraphiel begins to feel envy. After healing, he returns to the Primrose and Hope herd. [participants: an angeni!]
Devil's Advocate: (Not as planned out as the above plots) Without realizing it, Seraphiel is being manipulated by his father, doing Messiah's dirty work. This gets him in trouble with some unsavory (kalona?) Soquili. Sera refuses to believe that his father is anything but the poised, debonair gentleman he appears to be and steadfastly continues trusting Messiah. Meanwhile, other Soquili treat Sera like a bringer of bad luck and misfortune because whenever Seraphiel appears to get involved, arguments and disagreements come about. Seraphiel notices that he seems to have a talent for getting other Soquili to lose their temper. His herd doubts him. Sera's relationship with his mother deteriorates; he and Florian grow increasingly distant. Sera feels like he can no longer confide in his own mother. [participants: Messiah, kalona?, Florian, the entire herd, other Soquili]
Thirty Pieces of Silver (the Price of Treachery): (Not as planned out as the above plots) Messiah continues to manipulate Seraphiel; Sera is his father's tool. Sera had already he created mistrust within the Primrose and Hope herd. This time Sera's behavior has grave consequences: he causes a family and/or a couple to break apart (probably only temporarily, just for the duration of this plot, but Sera is unaware of this). Sera takes the blame for this, and his relationship with the herd (and with his grandmother) worsens until there is a verbal fight. Sera is turned away from the herd. Upset, he leaves them for a few days. When Sera attempts to rejoin his herd, his herdmates are not yet ready to accept him again. Hurt and angry, Seraphiel tells Shoshana that he needs some time to himself. He finds Messiah and/or "evil" Soquili, telling them of his troubles. These Soquili convince Sera that the herd never looked out for him, that he's better off without him. They work Seraphiel into a rage until Sera agrees. Seeking to harm the herd from inside, Sera plots with the evil Soquili and organizes an attack on the herd. In turn for the kalonas' help, Sera promises to aid them when called upon (i.e. Sera kind of "sells his soul" to the Soquili version of the mob).[participants: Messiah, kalona? (evil Soquili), the entire herd, other Soquili]
Fire and Brimstone: (Not as planned out as the above plots) The attack planned in Thirty Pieces of Silver occurs. Florian and/or Shoshana and/or Oracle confront Seraphiel. Sera comes to the conclusion that he is inherently evil because he is a son of Messiah. [participants: Messiah, kalona? (evil Soquili), the entire herd, other Soquili]
Judgement Day: Seraphiel becomes self-destructive. At times, he feels overcome by guilt, but he oscillates between remorse, regret, and a feeling of complete and utter helplessness, believing that he is a beast. He wanders the wilderness with the intention of harming himself: he burns in the desert sand, freezes in the mountains; his body aches and he does not have to face other living beings. However, he runs into the angeni he met in Baptism of Fire. He confesses to her, asking her to put him out of his misery, but instead she treats him with pity and foregiveness. She helps Sera come to terms with his actions, and after receiving her support, they once again part ways. He asks her for something to remember her by. [participants: an angeni]
Prodigal Son: (Not as planned out as the above plots) Seraphiel returns to the herd, seeking forgiveness. This RP will involve his attempts to mend his relationships with the herd members. Whether Sera is accepted or turned away, he will feel remorse for his treachery. [participants: the entire herd, especially Florian]
(Warplot) Wages of Sin (Original Sin): Long after the incidents in Thirty Pieces of Silver and Fire and Brimstone, the kalona-mob calls upon Seraphiel's for his assistance. But Sera's done with his wrongdoing and wants nothing to do with them. They begin hunting him down. Sera finds other Soquili who made deals with the mob, and they band together against the kalona. However, their loved ones are taken hostage. [participants: LOTS of Soquili, hopefully! 8D;]
(Warplot) Dark Horse: (Not as planned out as the above plots) The Soquili-mob plans another attack on Sera and his allies... but there is a mutiny within the mob! A "dark horse" becomes its new leader, and (s)he seeks out Seraphiel and his allies to make a truce.

He faced away from the sun. It flooded the earth with gold and red, casting a long, cold shadow in front of his eyes. He could feel a chill digging into his chest while the wind whipped his hair into tangles. Where was she? Seraphiel scowled up at the sky, not sure whether to be annoyed or worried. Blue darkness was already setting in, and lone stars glinted into existence in the west.
He turned in place, once again seeking the warmth of the light and was briefly rewarded when the fading sun's heat struck his chest. Blinded by the sun, he averted his eyes to the ground and followed the path of hoofprints with his eyes. One, two, three, four... He lost the count somewhere around 92. There were just too many to count, overlapping into an intricate latticework of prints that had no clear beginning and no end.
She was late. She was never late.
Seraphiel lifted his head again, looking over his shoulder to survey the trail of destruction. Oh, if only his mother and grandmother, could see this, they would be so upset; large swaths of wildflowers had been trampled into nothing beneath hundreds of nervous hoofsteps.
Why was she late. Never late.
Realization dawned on him. Maybe it was her father, arrogant stallion. Was he not good enough for his daughter? Sera's scowl intensified, wrinkling his brow and the corners of his eyes. Snobby git. He hadn't missed the disdainful expression on her father's face when they had first been introduced, or the disapproving looks he shot at his daughter. Her mother wasted no time in ushering her away. So much for a happy introduction.
"Stay away from my daughter," he had said, holding his head high. His tense muscles had rippled with the threat of attack and, staring at all those pounds of perfect stallion, Seraphiel knew he could not fight her father.
It wasn't just the difference in color, oh no. There were plenty of others like him in that respect, so many that it was normal, everyday, commonplace. He was nothing to stare at. Why the look?
Seraphiel swished his tail from side to side in frustration, exhaling through his nostrils with such strength that they flared. Disgusted, he stared down at his hooves. Wonderful. They were caked with earth.
He waited. The sun set. She never came.

Got Twisted Tunnel Basket? Name: Dhiren(m). Masumi(f). Name Meaning: Strong One // Beauty, True Purity.
Temper: Dhiren – Esoteric Masumi - Prideful Personality: Dhiren - Dhiren is strong willed and can be a little stubborn but he is easily manipulated by others. He means to do well but he easily listens to those he cares about because he trusts them and doesn’t think they would ever lead him wrong. He is possibly just a little naïve but it isn’t because he listens to everyone but because he listens to those that he cares about and doesn’t judge for himself if what they could possibly be telling him could be a lie or not. He also believes that he could possibly be the most evil thing to walk the lands at least in his mind. His belief is that because of either the fact that his parents were not mated and they had him not even out of love that he is cursed by spirits or it could even come down to the fact of his so called father and his enjoyment of watching others suffer. He doesn’t like that he is a foal from Messiah especially but he doesn’t have anything against Florian really because he sees her as gentle. However, he isn’t accepting of the fact that he is a product of a fling and it certainly doesn’t help matters that Messiah isn’t going to really be around to raise him and his siblings, the job falls all upon Florian. He believes that he is indeed cursed because of his so called parents because of one thing or the other and it bothers him a great deal. Because of all of this, he feels like he needs to perhaps go onto a journey of some sort, perhaps a spiritual journey. Others should be able to know that they are possibly being deceived and that their foals could be corrupted if they fling instead of mating with love. He has no real idea why he gets the evil thoughts that seep into his brain or the urges that make him want to harm and deceive others. He just chalks it all up to his father’s fault and the fact that he is being punished by the spirits for their non-mating nature as well as the bad things his father does. The thoughts that come to him are quite sadistic and cruel, he tries to ignore them the best that he can but sometimes they slip through. When they slip through it is known as his “Kairu time" or day depending on how long it lasts. He refers to Kairu time as the black one, he treats it like he becomes a different person and that that person does the actions, it is not him. It is a belief of his that a spirit possibly takes over his brain to control his body to perform the horrendous acts of hurting others. In reality, it is Dhiren who is in fact saying mean things, lying and using others in the cruelest fashion. Somehow the sadistic thoughts haven’t led to him torturing anyone yet; perhaps it is his conscience fighting against it. But all of it just leads him to another reason as to why he wants to go on a journey of sorts; he wants to see if there is a chance of being cured. He tries his best though to outdo the bad with all of the good that he does. He helps others whenever and however he can, it doesn’t matter to him if it is inconvenient to him or not. All that matters to him in the end is if the other being is happy and well off when it is all said and done. Masumi - Sumi is very pleased and elated with the cards that fate dealt her; she is pleased with who was chosen to be her parents. It doesn't matter to her that Florian is the joyous type whereas Messiah is the opposite that enjoys the suffering of others and is manipulative. She is proud to be a child between the two of them even if her father isn't the parenting type. She herself is a little different from perhaps what a normal foal should be like. At least that is how she views herself, she considers herself to be special just like her parent's connection that lead to them having children. She is very self-confident and takes pride in her family and who it is they are; she wouldn’t wish for nothing to change. She is respectful of others and knows when to not over step the boundaries to bother or upset anyone else. At the same time though, she takes after her father, she doesn’t like violence but somehow gets joy from seeing others being miserable. She doesn’t really cause them to be miserable but she doesn’t lift a hoof to even help them stop being so miserable. The sight of trouble for others even gives her a sense of happiness. Sometimes if she is bored though she might cause a little bit of trouble for others by the words she speaks. She is smart and clever enough to manipulate others to do or think whatever she wants them to do. When it comes to making others miserable though, she just doesn’t like the feel of the emotion and the guilt that weighs on her conscience. She is a strong believer in complementary opposites and the balance that it brings, her complementary opposites being light, dark and good, evil. What makes it so important to her is that she believes that she is a bit like it. When she has been too good to those around her, she has nightmares about doing horrible things to those she cares about or those that are around her. When the balance gets thrown off so badly, she acts out on the horrendous acts that she dreams about while she is sleeping. She does the acts while she is sleeping, as if in a sleep walk, she has no memory of it in the morning when she wakes. If she has been too bad though, she remembers her mother and her poised nature, how she is completely in control as well as her joyous nature. It almost haunts her and she has the strongest urge to make sure that she does something good to tip the balance back. Plots:One plot I want to do for sure isn’t really when he/she is a foal but rather when they are older. It would be a plot playing out his “journey” and possibly finding a healing soquili like a unicorn only to find out that his Kairu time is really himself. If it turns out to be female then it would be a plot to where she acts out on one of her nightmares but it is different than the rest. But above all else while he/she is a foal, there is a lot of progress and rp to be done. There is no rush of course into any individual plot because how things work with family and the herd certainly comes first. The relationship he/she has with the herd is most important, even if the relationship with the parents isn’t exactly a happy fairytale. That connection is most important because it is still a part of who he/she is and their background because of Florian, her connection to the herd. He/she should build relationships with some members of the herd or at least try to; it would possibly even lead to more plots. There is no rush or need to plan things out down to the last letter because some of the most amazing plots work themselves out or happen because it was unexpected. I have tried in the past to try and plan everything out down to the last letter but sometimes you just can’t do it that way. Am I Really Corrupted - Perhaps he/she could ask members of the herd, maybe even her grandmother, aunt and grandfather if they have the same sort of nature he/she does be it if it’s the sadistic thoughts or the need to balance out the good and bad. Soquili Slogan: Leave no foal behind! Prompt Response: Prompt #3 - DhirenHis soft gray eyes fell upon the members of the Primrose and Hope Herd; his heart seemed to beat just a little bit faster. Dhiren was starting to become nervous and a little bit on edge because he knew he didn’t really fit in with anyone here. The members were colored differently than he, some of the tones were light, some were dark but ultimately they didn’t seem to be dark colored but reminded him of life itself. When he reflected on himself he pictured evil and perhaps even death, all of the negatives that occur with life. He smiled warmly though at the members as he walked closer to them, he didn’t want to portray how nervous he felt inside. He was starting to fear that because he was so different than them, they would probably exile him from both the herd and possibly even the family. The mere thought of being alone made his heart beat even faster, he had no idea what sort of chaos he would cause if there was no one behind him to support him or hold him back. Sure now it was just picking on others but if there was no one else behind him, what could it possibly escalate to in the future? The thought terrified him as it danced through his mind. His thoughts race to his father and mother and how they had him without being mated or even in love with each other. Was it really because of them that he turned out to be so different? So many thoughts continue to pour through his head with each step closer to the herd members. Finally he was upon them and he knew it was his right to speak first; otherwise he might just be ignored. “Hello, wonderful day we’re having.” He said the words with a warm and friendly smile even though it wasn’t how he was feeling on the inside. On the inside, he was full of such turmoil, he could hardly stand it. The evil thoughts were slipping in again making him want to harm the ones before him but stomped it down with the need to fit in and belong to something. He wanted so badly to be able to fit in somewhere at least, he wanted somewhere that he could feel comfortable. He was very proud of himself for at least speaking a little bit even before the bad things started to invade. Every eye turned to him though once he spoke, and it somehow made the negative thoughts worse. He didn’t like all of the attention on him but at the same time how else was he going to make friends? “Flowers.” He didn’t like the quiet that seemed to start once he spoke to them and for some stupid reason flowers were the only nice thing that popped into his head. It seemed to work though because it got them talking about the flowers around the thicket and the forested land altogether. He was enjoying it and even found himself jumping into the conversation now and again to ask questions about certain flowers he found interesting by the description that was being given. Perhaps flowers could be some sort of soothing get away or distraction for him when things got really bad off. He pushed all of his thoughts aside though and began to converse with some of them individually while the rest chatted away. His nervousness had long since passed; he was starting to feel at ease here with the herd members. He was just hoping that no matter what happened in the future, it could stay that way. - MasumiSumi wandered into the clearing with her little head held high, it would seem that self-confidence was flowing off of her but that wasn’t it at all. She was very pleased with herself and the day as a whole thus far, she had nothing to complain about yet and she hoped it stayed that way. As she looked around the clearing she began to notice that some of the herd members were decorated with lovely flowers. It made her want to ask questions about as to why they were wearing flowers when others were not. The herd had a flower but not everyone was adorned with one or several. She was a little upset with the fact but she decided to let it go since it was her first time meeting the herd. In truth, she was more mesmerized by some of the manes that the stallions and mares had because some were long and some were short with feathers. She was becoming intrigued by what sort of beings populate the herd and she was getting very excited to meet everyone. “Hello! “ She called in a cheerful voice as she got within hearing distance. It was no surprise that she was expected to visit today and she figured why dilly dally and hold off the inevitable. Masumi walked just a little faster over to the group and looked a little closer at their individual appearances. Why some of them almost looked like some natural animal that she had seen running around in the woods. Others she had no idea as to what they looked like or even resembled but she did love their colors. They were sort of dark some of them but they weren’t dark like darkness, they held some light to them. “I’m Masumi of course.” She said it with a big grin, she was very proud of herself and her parents. “I would love to learn more about each of you if you have the time.” She wanted to be as pleasant as she could but at the same time she had to be a little careful not to tip the balance too bad. “Of course you have to speak properly to me each time you address me.” She finished speaking with something she hoped would be perceived as a little rude. “I only go by Masumi unless I give you permission to call me Sumi.” She smiled a small smile, she was being completely serious, and she only hoped that they would accept it. She could never really tell anyone about her balance and the belief of it all unless she trusted them completely. Because she had no real idea as to whom most of these stallions and mares were, she couldn’t tell them a peep of what was really going on. They had to show her that they were right to earn her trust, that they could be trusted to know information she told them. Otherwise they would forever be in the dark and she could care less if they were in the light or in the dark. Perhaps she was going a little soft on them because her mother was connected to the herd. “Oh and one more thing before we start asking each other questions, you do not address anything about my oddities. I may be special and unique but I am all the better for it, I certainly think it makes me better than any of you here.” She decided she might as well get the truth out of the way before things got a little irritating and one of them here got on her nerves. However as soon as the words were out of her mouth, she regretted them just a little because she thought of her mother. Somehow, she knew she was going to regret saying that to the herd members sooner or later, be it karma or be it from her mother herself. She ignored it for the time being though and went into her questionnaire mode, asking the herd members whatever it is she wanted to know about them. Once in a while she would even let one of the members ask questions about her and she would answer honestly.

Name Meaning: [Does the foal’s name have a meaning?] Lothaire meaning is Famous Army & Ianthe is a purple or violet flower in mythology Ianthe was a young girl, so beautiful that when she died the Gods made purple flowers grow around her grave.
Temper: imaginative Personality: [What’s the foal’s personality like?] Lothaire/lanthe often feels alone amoud all the colorful members of the herd. This has caused him her to feel great emotional ties to his/her siblings . He/she never wants to be separated from his/her small family. Often Lothaire/lanthe uses his her creative mind to come up with artistic ways of solving problems and would rather use his/her creative talents to get attention from the rest of the herd. Lothaire/lanthe does have a crafty mind and can be manipulative but she/he later learns how to use a crafty mind and a charming voice as tools to keep peace within the heard and as an adult become a kind of diplomat within the herd and between the herd and soq from outside the hear. She/he is willing to use whatever power he/she may possess to help keep the peace and safety of the herd. Prompt Response: 3 Lothaire/lanthe “Dominate the mindless masses by worship and logic-soon all shall be in your power and you shall be king of all the bunnies. “Lothaire/lanthe advised a nearby bunny who stared sleepy eyes at her and seemed more preoccupied with sunning itself from the warm and friendly son. Bunnies were good company as they listed with nary a word to Lothaire/lanthe stories and silly advice. The only fault with bunnies was their lack of motivation to see the world in a larger picture. All bunnies wanted to do was eat, sleep, and make more…. little bunnies. Lothaire/lanthe sighed as she/he thought of all the potential power bunnies could harness. “ If only I had an army of bunny rabbits –then I could rule the surrounding land and nobody could laugh at the dark color of my coat. So what if I look a little different from the rest of the The Primrose and Hope Herd. Their coat just happen to have lighter colors but coat color is all cosmetic-and I have other gifts. At least my sibling look like me so in a way I am not alone but at times it feels so lonely to look different from the majority of the herd. Well do have any bright ideas? Lothaire/ lanthe asked in a rhetorical way as she/he gazed at the bunny that was busy eating the verdant wildlife. As the bunny ate he made good use of his long-sharp front teeth. “Well your certainly devouring that plant with great gusto. You’re eating it so fast that you’re staining your face all green from the plant dye.” Lothaire/ lanthe gasped in shock as an idea came to him/her. “ I might not have been born with a lighter coat but I could use natural plant/fruit coloration to die my coat lighter. What a wonderful idea Mr. Bunny, your smarter then you look. “Lothaire/ lanthe whistled in happiness as she/he went off for materials. First she/he found a patch of a light pale mud which great glee Lothaire/ lanthe rolled around in. Happy with the light cream color coat Lothaire/ lanthe proceeded to find red/green/blue plants which he/she gathered in a pile before using his/her hoofs to crush the delicate plants. Carefully Lothaire/ lanthe rolled around in the juices of the plant which have her coat a colorful splotchy look. Lothaire/ lanthe trotted up to Grandma Shoshana with a smile on his her face and Very proud of her/his fine idea. “Grandma now I look like you! Nobody will stare at me and I can finally become a true member of the herd. I’ll have to apply the colors every day but I can finally be as pretty as you!”Shoshana gazed at her unique grandchild. “ Well you certainly are something. Did you happen to use all the plant life in the forest to get that wonderful array of colors,” She said with real mirth in her voice. “ No grandma I only used a few to get these delightful colors,” Lothaire/ lanthe smiled with delight. “ Well little bit I hate to break it to you that while you look simply marvelous I love my wonderfully unique grandkids just the way they are.” Shoshana gazed lovenly at the foal. “ But I don’t feel accepted and I hate physically standing out.” Lothaire/ lanthe whispered. “ They’re going to be a time when you’re going to realize your differences are really your strengths and you might to well to remember that not all soq are light and pastel color –we come in many colors and to some are herds colors might not be desirable.” Shoshana mused. “hmm. I not sure your right grandma but I’ll try become stronger and realize my own strengths.” Lothaire/ lanthe was not conviced that her grandma was right but then Shoshana was hardly wrong.
