Her head was still turned so she didn't really see the thing eying her through the glass unblinkingly now.
Did Sasha mean that? O-of course she did! Sasha wouldn't lie about whether or not she was lovely. It made Rin smile even though it seemed Sasha was going now, "Leaving?"

"Call it.. mmm.. I don't know. I've never been good at naming things. Growing up, I had a chicken named Knobbles." She gave a strained chuckle and shook her head. "Name it Peepers. I don't know. And.. I was going to leave so that you could bond with the hatchling? But I can stay if you like."

Rin chuckled too, "God, not manly enough though. Rep'd poke fun if I named it Peepers."
She smiled a bit, "You need to tell me more about Knobbles one day, they sounded awesome."
But one bird at a time and... Rin was stuck, "Lesse... Peepers, jeepers, creepers, peppers, peeps, peepette? Bah. Will just call it Peepers for now, it's the best idea so far."
Rin physically relaxed, "Maybe you're right. I am getting tired again, after all." She gave Sasha a weary little frown. "Will you be back later?"

"If you like," Sasha smiled tensely at the mention of Rep, leaning forward to press a quick kiss to Rin's temple before moving towards the door.
"Text me if you need anything? I'll be in the labs the rest of the day, so I'm close. And text me if you need anything for Peepers, too."

Rin peered up at Sasha with a dopey smile, "I'd like it very much and - you'd hafta stop me from texting you." A playful smirk curved across her face as she blushed softly.
Rin scoot back down the bed and turned her attention back to Peepers with a broad yawn, "Mmmm..." she poked a finger to the tank which the tiny creature inside tried to cuddle up against.

Sasha chuckled softly, giving Rin a long look.
"I'll come check on you two later, then."
She shook her head and left the room, still smiling.
