Melody smiles lightly "feel free to wrap it up tighter and bring up to your home so you can have some" she told him before picking up a cloth and wiping down the kitchen counters. She hummed as she wiped down the counter tops, mostly a random song stuck in her head that had a good rhythm to it. She would need to come to the cafe more often, just to see him.

Autumnal watched Melody as she wiped down the counter. He liked her. Smiling he put away the clean dishes.
"I'll bring the bread up then."
He looked over at her, holding the bread to bring home.
"We can head upstairs now. There isn't much else that needs to be done right away."
He waved her over to the back of the shop, walking out the back door and locking it tight behind them. He then turns and leads her up some stairs along the side of the building. Half way up, he unlocked the door leading further in, letting her in first before locking that door behind them. Leading her up the rest of the stairs and to an enclosed pourch. Unlocking the door to the house itself, inviting her in ahead of himself, leaving this door unlocked though still closing it behind him.
"Well, this is where I live. It's not much, but my cat and I happen to enjoy being here."
He smiled at her as he motioned to the couch in the front room.
"Make yourself at home while I find that box of things."

Melody followed him up the stairs to his home, she walked in ahead of him and stopped to look around she then glanced at him "its a comfy and quaint place like your cafe, I like it" she told him Before taking the time to walk through his home. She liked quaint and comfy, she wasn't a huge fan of big houses and what not, a medium sized cottage would suffice her.
She tilted her head the side "you have a cat? I didn't know that nor did i know that we could have pets" she put in politely. Before she walked over to the couch and sat down, she bounced on it a bit before settling down. She tilted her head the side curiously wondering what this 'box of things' held "alright..I'll be here. she told him.

Autumnal smiled at her a bit.
"Why wouldn't we be allowed to have pets? He's a gentle cat, rather baby like. He enjoys attention as well. He's big, black with some white on his face, paws, and belly, and very fluffy. I'm sure if he came out, you would like him."
He turned to head to his bedroom.
"I'll be right back."
Autumnal walked into his bedroom, going into the smaller storage place in the back of the room. He shuffled through the stuff at the top, knowing the decent sized box was hiding up there someplace. Finding it in almost no time at all, he picked through it making sure it was the box of belonging he had told Melody about earlier. It was, so he headed back into the sitting room.
"Here we are. The box of that ladies belongings I was telling you about. Theo e with the scarf or shawl you might like. Three are other things in here that you are welcome to if you like as well."
He smilies at her as he placed the box at her feet, backing up and sitting down himself.

Melody silently told herself of course, we were just talking about it downstairs she shook her head at herself. Before she crossed her legs, and adjusted her dress so it was covering part of her thigh. She hummed to herself drumming her fingers on the couch arm rest to her tune she was humming. She blinked as he came back with the box.
She bent to pick up the box and set it in her lap before she opened the lid and started to sift through the items, there were small stuff and then the shawl he had mentioned. She pulled out and smooth it out before holding it up and looking at it, it was a simple but pretty and the color it was went with her dress, she would need to wash it first.
She gazed at him and blinked "so what is the cat's name?" she asked curious to know, with how he described him, he sounded like a Oreo with the exception of the fluffy fur. She was curious to meeting this cat of his.

Autumnal watched her as she picked through the box of things. He has only looked through it once before and only had a vague memory of the items. But he had remembered the shawl decently well. Only reason he had was because he had enjoyed the colors in it, also thinking it was of good material and only lightly used.
"Is it useful to you? I see that my memory did not fail me, at least, in the coloring of the shawl."
Autumnal smiled widely.
"As for the cat, his name is Harry. He might not make himself known this first time you are over here. But I'm sure next time, after he's seen that you aren't so bad, he'll decide to come out. As for why his name is Harry, he had it when I got him. It seems to fit him very well though."

Melody smiles lightly as she shuffled through the box before putting the lid back on "The shawl I will wash before i wear it, since who knows how long its been in there" she told him with a luck chuckle. She lightly placed her palms on the lid before glancing at him and nodding her head "yes..it would be useful to me, with cold weather around the corner and what not" she said with a smile.
"the way you described him the name Oreo came to my mind" she admitted laughing a lightly "with the exception with the fluffy fur" she answered. "well, I'm sure he will make and appearance soon enough" she didn't have a pet so she didn't have any toys for him. She leaned back on the couch.

Autumnal smiled and lightly took the box out of her hands, placing it on the chair opposite the couch. He sat down on the other side of the couch, laying back comfortably and crossing his legs.
"Oreo may be a fitting name, but Harry is simply him. I'm sure he'll decide it's safe at some point. I actually might have seen him in my bedroom laying down like the cat he is."
Autumnal laughed a bit.
"I'm happy that you'll find the shawl useful then. Like I said before, the stuff has been in the box since I moved here at least. I'm not sure if the lady who was here before me kept them there or not. They all have a slightly nostalgic feel to then though."
He smiled widely at her curiousity about the cat.
"And if you do venture in to see the cat, which I welcome you to, there is a bit of string on the table next to you. You can use that to tease him. It's one of his favorite things to play with. Though he also enjoys little balls of paper."

Melody lightly laughed "that is very true" she told him with a smile, before stretching and settling back into the comfy couch. "that is understandable, I suppose" she answered thinking about it for a few seconds. She lightly smoothed out the bottom of her dress. "I'm pretty certain cats don't do much" she put in.
"i'll keep that in mind when I decide to venture in to meet this cat of yours" she told him, she would but right now she was enjoying some relaxation and tranquility that Autumnal's quaint home provided her with. It was a good thing the cafe was closed tomorrow, it would give him a day of rest to do whatever he needed to get down. She rested her hands in her lap her fingers interlocked. She blew out a small breath and smile, it was a good day.

Autumnal watches her a bit, simply enjoying her company for the moment. He looked her up and down once again. It was nice to have some company. Some of his employees sometimes came up to see him. Mostly to help with the bookkeeping he had to do for the cafe. Keeping track of everything was easier with someone to help once in a while.
"So what do you do for work Melody? Or even for fun. Hobbies or anything like that. I think it's time I listened to some things about you since I've done nothing but rudely talk about myself the whole time."
He smiled broadly at her. Hoping that she didn't decide it too soon to tell him anything about herself.

Melody stood up to stretch for a bit before answering his questions. She was throughly enjoying his company and she didn't get much of it, since she doesn't know very many mearhs just yet. She tapped her chin with a finger. "I don't actually work, nor have job. As for what I do for fun, I like taking walks, enjoying some fresh air, and having some peace and tranquility" she told him with a smile.
"I have yet to find out my hobbies, so I'm just enjoying life to its fullest Until I do" she put in nodding her head. She swished her tail and fro idly. "though i do enjoy baking every once in awhile and I do enjoy cooking as well." she told him.

Autumnal watched her carefully.
"Well, no work isn't so bad. Where do you live? And baking is always fun to do. Personally I enjoy cakes. Mostly because I like to decorate. Decorating is fun only because you can decorate them almost any way you can imagine. Cupcakes too. Cakes being bigger are always better though."
He smiled widely at her, standing and stretching. He then looked her over. She is so pretty... And smart. Enjoying her company is something that fascinates him as well.
"I must say that taking a nice walk is always good as well. Especially if you get some nice scenery to look at."
He gently took her hand and softly led her into his room.
"I think it's time to meet the cat though. He will be better tempered and such the next time that way."
He led her to the bed, letting go of her hand and patting the large cat on his bed. Harry looked up at them both sleepily and then placed his head back down.
"He's a good cat. He enjoys a good sleep and a good petting. He likes to snuggle under my blankets a lot too. Silly cats..."
He smiled at her as he sat on the edge of the bed, continuing to pet the cat."

Melody tapped her chin "i don't actually have a set place yet, I'm just here and there most of the time" she told him, "you know what you should do have some christmas dishes at the cafe and classify them as seasonal, and make some cookies, cupcakes and cake" she suggested. then again the cafe wasn't hers it was his so it would be up to him.
She let him lead in her to his bedroom where the cat had chosen to call his home she lightly frowned when he let her hand go. She sat down on the other side of him and lightly scratches him behind the ears and glanced at Autumal "that just means he likes you" she told him with a smile.

Autumnal laughed loudly.
"With what I have to deal with from this big ball of fluff sometimes, he had better love me."
He smiled at her.
"You could stay here for a little while... If you wanted, I mean. I have a spare bedroom. It's small... And I use it to store some things. But it's a nice room and the bed is warm. I can move the couple of boxes in there too. That way it can be your space. Those boxes really shouldn't be in there anyway."
He watched her carefully.
"And I do have a few things that I like to do for the winter seasons. Some ask for them every year. It's a kind of cranberry pie. It has a few other fruits mixed in as well, so a lot of mearhs enjoy it."
He smiled broadly at her and countinued stroking the cat again.

Melody lightly laughs "oh, i'm sure he does" she put in she wanted to put what she was thinking at the end of it but that may just seem a little awkward. "well...you do feed him and take of him" she put in nodding her head.
She smiled lightly "Ah...that would be lovely" she told him before scratching the cat behind the ears. Her tail swishing to and fro idly. "Besides, no harm can come with having a few dishes christmas themed, but of course only if you want to that is" she told him "It will be a lot of hard work but I'm sure it will pay off" she stated.
