Ofelia nodded her head in mute reply, just taking it all in as Sasha said it. There wasn't much more to ask, not much more to say, and if she kept on keeping on the path she was going eventually one or both of them was going to get too fed up to continue talking. The redhead was already thankful enough as it was that someone wanted to speak with her about the problem and not mock her the entire time, so perhaps enough was enough.
For now. Maybe she should go and ask this Rin person next, if Rin would actually want to speak with her? She could give a try, ask around to see where she was, but that would come later. For now she would spend the rest of this time with Sasha in slightly different conversation.
Like anything not about sex.
Maybe back on the topic of pie, since Ofelia still had some in front of her and they could eat it at their own leisure now. " . . . Ah see. Ah wanna say thank ya very, very much fer listenin' ta me 'bout all this. Ah was really worried 'bout goin' ta someone, worried they'd jus' mock me."
Wait, that was still somewhat dwelling on it. She needed to push a change.
"Um..so..what's yer...favorite type'a pie?"

From sex to pie. Well. Sasha blinked a few times, trying to follow the train of thought. The topic change was welcome, to say the least. "Any sort of fruit, but nothing too sweet. I don't have a huge sweet tooth. Probably apple, I'd guess, if I had to make a choice between various types of pies." She'd never really thought about it. "Though, to be honest, pie isn't really one of my favorite foods."

". . .Oh...Ah'm...sorry. Ah should'a offered sommin' else then other than jus' pie. Ah think we've got other stuff in here that Ah made b'for if ya want. . . Ah think there may be some leftover peppermints? Do ya like those?" She had made them before with Jordan and there might have been a few left - she didn't eat all of them nor did she give him all of them to take with. It had been a rather huge batch too, so. "They're the soft kind though . . . oh, but there's some lemon flavored ones too."
The peppermints weren't super sweet, at least not the lemon ones, and there were vanilla too, but she wasn't going to get up and get them unless Sasha showed interest. The redhead was feeling bad about the pie, even if her companion had been polite enough to eat it.

"It's fine, Ofie," Sasha chuckled, finding Ofie's distress both silly and amusing. "It's fine. I wasn't raised with desserts or sweets. We ate very simple. Fresh fruits, vegetables. Poultry, cheese. That sort of thing." She tilted her head to the side, watching the younger huntress with a keen expression on her face.
"Where did you learn to cook? And why do you love food the way you do?" She chuckled. "I used to have a passion like that. Music. Now it's just work." Sasha shrugged, her expression curious.

"Ah taught mahself how ta cook. There wasn't anyone in the house who wanted ta take care'a me, an' so if Ah wanted ta eat Ah had ta cook mah meals." Ofelia just sort of beamed at the notion, totally ignoring what she was saying. Melvin had long since helped get her over the whole 'it was okay' bit of her thinking but she still. . . sort of thought it was okay? At the very least she didn't want to dwell on it too much. "There was always food there though, stuff fer me ta cook wit', so maybe mah aunt jus' was bad at cookin' an' stuff? She was always busy anyway in her room, Ah never saw her much. Mah brother said guys didn' belong in the kitchen." She chuckled on that thought, though mention of there always being groceries made her think. She never saw her aunt go in and out, never knew if she had a job or not. There were always clothes, always groceries. Why?
There was no need to think, so she moved along.
"An' Ah guess the reason Ah love food so much is it was sommin' Ah was good at? Mah brother would eat it whenever Ah cooked and it made me happy ta watch him do so. Ah love food when it's shared wit' people, when Ah can see 'em enjoyin' themselves over sommin' Ah make." There were memories there too that made food all the more precious to her. Memories of her brother making her soup once or twice when she was sick, or him teaching her how to make popcorn balls for a school function. Bologna sandwiches on rainy days when the thunder and lightning found her in his room, a small cake for her tenth birthday that tasted so bad they both were sick shortly after. There were those memories, but Sasha would never know them.
Ofelia would never share them, not with anyone.
"There's a sense'a pride, fer me at least, ta be able ta eat a meal Ah've made wit' mah own two hands an' ta see people eatin' it as well." Like now with the pie, even if it wasn't a food Sasha liked a lot. It still made Ofelia happy to see her nibble at it even if just a little. "An' sorry ta hear ya lost yer passion fer music - Ah hope one day it finds its way back ta ya. Ah always believed that passion never dies, gets replaced, or goes away - it jus' rests until ya need it again an' then it's there, waitin'." She smiled and shrugged her shoulders herself, wondering if anything at all she said made sense.
It did to her, in a manner of speaking.
