"Yes. When I was a young girl, hiding in the village, I happened upon her," Katrina waved vaguely,"I was running away from some guards after I was running when I got caught running a small card trick...~" She chuckled at the last thing, absently,"She hid me when I bumped into her."

Katrina leaned her crossed arms on the kotatsu as she listened to Sabitsuki,"Ei, so you went to Kazami's house? Helped the brute, and what with the mole then...?" The demon's eyebrows furrowed as Sabitsuki broke off,"What. That....'That b***h. Its one thing to hurt that stupid-hornless-dope, but you. Even I don't want to do that. She is such a coward -! Ergg, tch!" She leaned back arms crossed under her chest, the aura around her turning wrathful and pressing. She really was annoyed. Katrina didn't like Yochi to begin with, and shw saw it as an abuse to hurt a small youkai like Sabitsuki; Even if she did know the power the mirror youkai had and when it was possible Yochi was hiding something worse than what Katrina was.

"Is the wound not closing?" She said a bit coldly due to her own anger at the moment, not moving much and keeping her arms crossed,"I can help you if it isn't. I've taken care of my wounds since I was split for my family... That mole. The nerve she has-!"
PostPosted: Sun Dec 02, 2012 8:21 am

Sabitsuki cringed again, the hand once clasped over her mouth had now slid down to rest along her collar bone. The aura surrounding Katrina had suddenly became thicker, almost making it hard to breathe. She took a few deep breaths both to calm herself, and to reassert herself in the newly oppressive aura.

"...No, i-it's not closing. Not as fast as it should be, a...anyway." She replied quietly, moving her shawl to rest on her shoulder without manually holding it anymore. "I-I might be a youkai, but... th..the wound she gave me is...bad. I haven't even shown Sis yet. If I did, she... she wouldn't stop at anything to hunt Miss Youji down, and then she would hurt Sis!"

Her eyes finally meeting Katrina's again, Sabitsuki leaned forward on her knees, cradling the wounded shoulder with her other arm. "...Y-You can take a look, if...if you want. But, I-I don't want to trouble you. I just couldn't show it to Sis because she already worries so much about me... And...judging by how she came to the shrine yesterday... I couldn't live with myself... if Sis got hurt because of me."

"Yes, you sister would jump and get herself killed by Yochi.. not because the mole would sully her hands, but because her little pet wouldn't let her get hurt. There is no way your sister could win against Yochi and the brute put together," Katrina said,"You are right; she would be severely hurt or simply killed."

The demon stood up, moving to Sabitsuki,"Don't worry, its not a problem. Not like I am doing anything anyway." She knelt by Sabitsuki, and removed the shawl, carefully moving to expose her shoulder enough to remove the bandages and look at the wound. Yup, it was a large cut. it seemed the mole had stab, wrenched and tore out. She surely knew what she was doing, the mole. "Yeah she tore some ligaments it seems... Let me see...." She stood once more and moved to the cabinet up in the side and opened it up. She came back to little youkai and settled down by her again.

"Alright this may hurt, so bite a pillow or something, or else Master Fuzen will wonder what I am doing to you," Katrina said flatly pulling out some alcohol to clean the wound, bathing a small rag in it, before mercilessly rubbing it over the deep wound. "Alright almost done," she muttered. By the time she finished the rag had a good amount blood. She moved to fetch some clean bandages looking a bit to the thread and needle meant to close wounds. Maybe she could, but that would no doubt hurt a lot more than the alcohol.

Katrina pondered on it, looking from the bandages to the needle for the bit, thinking of how she had had to close the wound that Yuuka had given her when she went to the shrine. She had had to sew it herself. "...Mh..." After working so securely, it was odd for her to stop now.

Sabitsuki sat quietly as Katrina worked, so as not to disturb either her or her own wound. In truth, it was strange to see the Demoness helping her; this would mark the second time Katrina had shown kindness to Sabitsuki.

When told to bite something, Sabitsuki nodded hesitantly, and picked up the crimson shawl Katrina had so carefully removed moments before. Taking an amount of its length, Sabitsuki balled it up slightly and, after a short pause, bit into the cloth and shut her eyes, giving one final nod as a go-ahead for Katrina to continue.

At first, there was nothing, but then a quick flash of pain flooded Sabitsuki's mind as Katrina rubbed the alcohol-drenched rag into her wound. Sabitsuki whimpered and writhed where she sat, more tears leaking from the corners of her shut eyes. Every second that passed felt like an eternity, and even after the Demoness let up, the alcohol continued to burn into Sabitsuki's flesh as its last traces evaporated.

With the pain finally subsiding, Sabitsuki opened her eyes and glanced at Katrina, who was overlooking a needle and thread with a somewhat...cautious expression? She couldn't tell, her mind still a bit numb. Taking the cloth from her mouth, Sabitsuki feigned a smile, her hands gripping the edge of her dress and wringing it nervously. "G...Go ahead. I-If you don't, it might only get worse... I might... rust away~"

Katrina looked over at Sabitsuki then back at the thread and needle. She sighed, and took them in her hand,"Might as well do it while you are still numb from the alcohol on your wound," Katrina muttered. As she slid the thread through the needle and tied it's, she couldn't help but to want to not really care at all about Sabitsuki. It would make all this all that more easy to do,"This is probably going to hurt... Well, unless the skin around the wound that I am sewing is dead, it is going to hurt, but hopefully not as bad as the alcohol."

Katrina put a thumb and framed the wound in her hand wth her index finger, tentatively getting as close to the wound as she could so she could hold down the flesh. "Ready?... Erm you may want to bite that again, just in case," The demoness warned, before looking back to her hand and behinning to work as quickly and efficiently as she could.

She did have practice with the needle, she had fixed her clothes and her own wounds before, so the process was relatively quick. She really did try to stay focused on the needle and not the fact that it was perhaps hurting Sabitsuki a good amount.

"Okay... D, Don't worry, Miss Katrina. I'll be okay..." Sabitsuki smiled reassuringly, and replaced the cloth in her mouth. Taking a deep breath through her nose, Sabitsuki once again tried to find that happy place inside her head, so Katrina could work without interruption.

As the needle first plunged into the wounded flesh, Sabitsuki's body shook. Her fists were white-knuckled as she continued to wring the bottom of her dress, each plunge of the needle as painful as the last. She did her best to control her breathing and her body's reactions, and only let out a small number of whimpers. By the time Katrina was finished sewing up the wound, Sabitsuki was left exhausted and breathless from the ordeal.

Before she realized it, Sabitsuki's body was wavering. The experience had drained her, and without warning, she passed out and fell to the side, collapsing onto the demoness beside her, the wadded-up shawl falling uselessly from her mouth as well.

Katrina worked trying to focus only on the wound in front of her. She muttered a few "I am almost done" or a "Hang on a bit" trying to ignore Sabitsuki's whimpers. As soon as she was done, she cut the thread using her teeth to not pull on the flesh. "There, I am done,Sabitsuki - Sabitsuki? Sabi-- Ah-" Katrina blinked as the young mirror fell to the side, catching her and bracing her weight easily.

The demoness's brows furrowed, but she carefully stood cradling the white-haired girl, and turned to set her in her bed. She was about to turn and pick up the things, but she found her eyes trailing Sabitsuki's figures, and her mind wondering to places it shouldn't. Katrina ran a hand over her face with a small groan, and biting her lip she turned around before chosing against it and returned to move Sabitsuki enough to tuck her under a blanket.

With that the Seven Sin Youkai moved to take the things and put them in the sink and gather the medical kit to put her away into the cabinets once more.

The young Mirror was moved easily and without resistance into Katrina's bed, innocently unaware of the temptation she posed to the demoness. She rested peacefully for a few minutes, the stress from the ordeal slowly leaving her body.

After the short rest, Sabitsuki stirred slowly, turning over under the blankets Katrina had so kindly covered her with, and watched Katrina silently as she worked. Sabitsuki couldn't help but wonder what she had done to earn such unusual affection from the Seven Sin Youkai.

"...Miss... Katrina...?" Her voice was still a little weak, but even in light of this exhaustion, Sabitsuki forced herself to sit up in Katrina's bed. She smiled warmly to the demoness. "Th...thank you, for taking care of me...a-and, for not hurting Sis, even when she came to attack you... I don't know why you're being so nice to me, but...I don't question it, either. I was right to put my faith in you, after all..."

"It isn't out if anything else but out of returning the favor for keeping me company in the cave. You didn't shy from me, so I won't shy from you," Katrina said, trying to sound indiffrent,"I am simply paying for the faith you put in me. You know what I am; you know kindness isn't in my vocabulary."

All the while, she worked on washing the dishes trying not to pay attention to Sabitsuki, that temptation still latent in her heart."In any event, you may want to rest some more before you decide to get up, feel free to stay in the bed," The demoness said to The young mirror youkai as she turned to put away the silverware in the cabinet, feeling some relieve from walking away from her.

"... and you are welcome, I suppose," The Seven Sin Youkai muttered as she closed the cabinet, tryingnto not make eye contact with Sabitsuki,"If you walked hurt and shaky, people would wonder what's up with this place."
PostPosted: Thu Dec 06, 2012 10:44 am

"S..So, that's the only reason..?" Sabitsuki said, sounding a bit disheartened. The young Mirror slid back down into the comfort of Katrina's bed and rested her head on the pillow, though her silvery eyes continued to watch the Demoness as she worked to tidy up.

"...That's okay... I don't mind. I-I won't ever shy away from you, then... that way... you won't ever shy away f..from me. Then, maybe someday, I'll get to see the real you... Miss Katrina..." Sabitsuki pulled the covers up over her shoulders and wrapped herself tightly. Underneath, she touched the sewn wound lightly, tracing her fingertips across the stitches. The area was still tender, and the slight pain elicited a wince and a tear to leave her eye, but knowing it was the Demoness' handiwork somehow brought a strange comfort to her.

"You amaze me, you know..." Sabitsuki's voice was soft, half-drifting into a light slumber again. "When we first met...I-I mean... A-After what happened--" Sabitsuki whimpered lightly, unsure of how to say what she wanted to properly. "...I...I used to be afraid of you... But now I know I can trust you." From over the covers, Sabitsuki smiled softly. "I believe in you, Miss Katrina..."

"Yes that is the only reason," the demoness said, trying to convince herself as much as Sabitsuki. She put away the last few things and having not much more to busy herself found herself with no other thing to do but look at the sweet little mirror that was tucked away in her bed.

When the young Mirror mentioned meeting 'the real Katrina' the maiden took it negatively. "You are a century too late for that," she grumbled plainly and bitterly,"That vaguely human part of me that was left by Master Fuzen's actions died with the hope I had in humanity years ago. Time passes through me like it does through a human's eyes; I will never forgive what the humans did to Amaterasu Katrina or their role in Livid's demise. The old me would, but I wouldn't dream of it, Miss Kaibutsu." As the Seven Sin Youkai spoke the aura of wrath begun to pulsate again, but when she saw Sabitsuki, so innocently resting, her wings relaxed and she calmed down, sitting down and putting the kotatsu between her and her guest for safe measure.

Katrina sighed as the young youkai continue to talk," Don't put too much faith in me, that isn't a smart thing to do." The demoness plucked a manderine from the the small bowl on the kotatsu and began to peel it with her sharp nails,"When people believe Sin has some right to exist is when those people lose themeselves."
PostPosted: Mon Dec 10, 2012 8:41 am

Hearing Katrina call her by her last name somehow hurt Sabitsuki. Deeply. More than the rising aura of hate did. The young mirror stifled a small whimper, a wetness gathering at the corners of her eyes. She didn't speak for a short while, knowing her voice would break if she tried to.

"Sin... is an invention of mankind..." Sabitsuki finally said. It was something she had heard before. Was it from a book? Or did someone say it? ...Or was it something she saw someone say in their memories? Sometimes it became hard to tell the difference. "Sin is... just instinct." She continued, hopefully adding her own words this time. "People kill to eat and survive, they l..l-lust, a-and... love... They get angry, and envious of others... It's only natural. It's because we're living, breathing things... things with feelings of love, joy, sorrow and pain. To denounce any one part of those would mean to deny what makes us whole. It's the sum of the working parts that makes everything work the way it should. The way it's supposed to work."

Sabitsuki took the covers in her hand with drew them over her head. She was unable to hide her distress any further, and sought to cry silently under the safety of Katrina's bedding, and away from her watchful gaze. "I-I... won't ever believe that, K.. Katrina...!" She spoke as calmly as she could, and her eyes were needlessly shut tight, as if adding another barrier between herself and the Demoness. This darkness didn't frighten her, for Sabitsuki knew there was someone trusted nearby, and Katrina's scent carried by the fabric also worked its hand in supplying her with a small comfort. "You aren't gone...! Y-You're right... right there... I can feel you, even from here. Th..that's how... how I know! I... I want to believe in you, and so... I am. A-And, nothing you can say will... will change my mind!"

Katrina listened to Sabitsuki, idly stabbing her nail into the Fruit. She watched the citrus pool around her sharp nail, detachly peering down at the fruit half imagining it as the blood of an unlucky victim. "If Sin is a creation of mankind, nothing but a Tall tale. Then why do I stand infront of you,...? Sin is instinct yes, but that does not make it any more rightful than taking someone's life."

"Resisting Sin and its instinct is what defers man from beast." She flicked the manderin free from her nail watching it land on the kotatsu with an useless plop. She finally lifted her eyes up to Sabitsuki as she Continued to speak and hide under the bed covers in some childish attempt to hide Her emotions.

Katrina stood and towered over the hidden youkai. Peeering down on the lump inside her bed, the demoness spoke again,"What you say you feel is a lie, at least to me it is."

She stretched her wings to their full span casting a Shadow over the bed. "I bet you don't know what it is like To rot from the inside out. To slowly lose Whatever faith, hope, and dreams You held. To lose your family and see the world its back on you...."

Slowly the energy of hatred And jealousy increased, but Katrinaa, feeling this, crossed her arms and closed her wings around her. "To feel your sanity and moral slip your grasp and see your own image turn into some twisted mockerh lf what you used to be." By the last words she had managed to usher into a pitiful voice reducing her pressing wave of emotion and closing it inside her wings.
PostPosted: Sun Dec 16, 2012 8:53 am

The curled-up mass of Sabitsuki's body was unmoving, save for light breathing. Slowly, she drew back the covers from her head. Sabitsuki's eyes were red, and her usually shining irises were notably dull. "I... I don't know. I don't know how to answer to any of that. It's true, my life has generally been free of tragedy, a-and for that, I am very thankful..." She moved onto her elbow, then pushed herself up into a sitting position, sitting before the taller demoness, their difference in height exaggerated by the fact Katrina was standing whereas she was not. Sabitsuki looked up into Katrina's eyes, the stains from her own tears still glistening across her cheeks. "Is that why.. you once hated me..?" Her voice was small, almost a whisper.

"I can never hope to imagine how it felt, to go through what you have... not firsthand." She gripped the edge of the bed, concentrating, her eyes closing. The light from the lamp on the kotatsu cast Katrina's shadow over her perfectly. "But... I can see. I can see everything. Is... is this what you wanted..?"
Sabitsuki focused. She focused hard, searching and sifting through the dark and tainted memories of the once human girl. It all flooded into her own mind: Every torture, every wrong, every sin. The amount of information she was absorbing from Katrina's shadow was staggering. It was more than she had ever scryed at any one point in time, and soon, Sabitsuki's body began to shake.

"N-Now...I..I can f-feel your pain, t..t-too...!" She reached up to clasp her hands around her crown, holding her head tightly as if trying to keep all the memories inside. She whimpered and cried out, each terrible memory gained dealing a sharp pain in its own. The corrupted ideology of the Seven Sin Youkai, following the extremely powerful aura she had produced moments before, was taking a deadly toll on the young mirror's body and mind...

"Perhaps. Here hate does not need a reason," Katrina answered plainly. Her eyes had trailed to the side stove trying to ignore the sad look Sabitsuki gave her. It wasn't till she could see Sabitsuki move and sit up in her bed that Katrina's eyes returned to the little mirror youkai.

At first the demon only raised her eyebrow, confused as to what her guest had planned, but once she begun to shake and cried out the sin youkai blinked. In sudden realization she turned around and caught sight of the lamp directly behind her. It was like the time Katrina had lured Sabitsuki to her shrine; when the aggressor had pinned the young youkai she had transformed into A mirror image of herself . It was obviously not the same thing, but this was part of the mirror youkai's Ability. Something fueled inside of her. Even Katrina herself wouldn't wishwish her life on Anyone.

When Sabitsuki cried out, she turned from the lantern to the little youkak infront of Ber. "Stop that! Don't be stupid!" Once more unwrapping her wings from around Her she stretched them a bit, freeing herself from her self-imposed restrain. She searched Sabitsuki's expression for some sort of clue to tell her the young girl was bluffing. Seeing only the pain, the demoness grew impotent.

She kneeled infront of Sabitsuki, "Stop looking for whatever you are looking because you won't find it." She looked into her eyes, part of her wanting to stop whatever Sabitsuki was doing. "Please stop it. I would not wish what I have seen upon you... please stop it."

Giving up, Katrina helplessly pushed up And embraced the mirror youkai. "You are only going to hurt yourself pointlessly. Stop now. you proved whatever you wanted to prove."
