Shun let out a breath, glad that went through without a hitch. After paying for the things, he took his tea and tart while making his way to the seat across from his lycan. He saw her move her hand and tilted his head at the gesture. Oh. She must be trying to teach him something. Either that or... she wanted to put something in her tea.

".... Do you want sugar for your tea?" he asked, to be sure. Generally she didn't put anything in green tea but...

It was good to ask anyway. Just in case.

Mitsu managed to give Shun a flat expression. He knew she didn't put anything in her tea. She shook her head and pointed at the tea again before making the same gesture again hoping he would understand this time.

Ok, so that went out. Maybe she was trying to teach him the word for tea then. Slowly, he mimicked her actions.

"Cha," he said quietly in turn. He wasn't exactly sure what type of green tea this specifically was so he couldn't tell her that, but Shun could still give the word for tea in general.

Nodding quietly, he gently blew some of the steam away before taking a careful sip. Putting that down, he went on to take a try of the pumpkin tart. It wasn't bad really.

'Cha' She mouthed the word though she didn't speak it, smiling when it seemed Shun had finally caught on to her lesson. With that out of the way she mimicked his actions by blowing at her tea to cool it slightly. She was not as careful with her sip and the tea burned a little as it went down but it was still pretty good.

The tart was next in order and Mitsu stared at it for a moment. She didn't know the sign for pastry or for tart. It was something she was going to have to look up later. Mostly she had focused on trying to learn the things she needed to know and stuff that she thought might be useful. How pastry had eluded her vocabulary was a mystery.

Shrugging lightly to herself she lifted the pastry from its little tray and began to nibble at it, a happy light to her expression like she used to get when she enjoyed these types of things. How long had it been since she enjoyed something simple like the taste of something sweet without it being clouded by fear or worry?

Nodding to her, Shun just quietly ate his tart while also drinking his tea. As he did so, he was watching his lycan, noticing that she looked rather happy right now. His expression softened at the sight of this, and the corners of his lips faintly lifted to form that subtle smile of his. However, he didn't say anything. He was just enjoying their quiet time together here in peace.

The Reaper just went on to continue with his little snack and drink, settling down once he had finished both. When he was all done, he looked out the window, watching a few people walk on by, while waiting for Mitsu to be ready so they could continue on with their little journey.

Mitsu didn't seem to realized Shun was watching, she was too focused on her treat being sure to chew slowly and savor every bite. Bit by bit it finally vanished and she licked her fingers to get every crumb she could find. She continued to sip at her tea now that it was cool, looking toward Shun and following his gaze out toward the street and the various people walking by. It seemed a lot like Amity, creatures from all walks of life were here but in a much smaller scale. Would it always be this way?

Reaching over the table Mitsu tugged lightly on Shun's sleeve and pointed toward the door to silently ask him if he was ready to leave. She only had a little bit of tea left and it was in a portable cup. Mitsu was about to reach down to clean up the paper plate and napkins she had from her tart but the long vines of a plant was already reaching for it, sweeping it off the table and into a large grinding mouth in the middle of the plant.

Feeling a tug at his sleeve, Shun turned towards Mitsu, then nodded quietly as she was ready to move on now. Since the plant had taken care of their trash, he stood up and reached to take her hand before walking on out the door. Now that they've had this little break, he started to just make his way to the train station.

It wasn't too far away so before long, he found himself standing before the map outlaying the stops that this particular train went to.

"Do you see Howling Crest on this? It looks like this line can go fairly far north. It looks like the temple is along the way as well," he noted quietly, spotting a familiar landmark on the map. Judging everything else, it seemed to be about in the same area as he last recalled as well.

As she stood from her seat Mitsu pulled her backpack back on and reached for Shun's hand as well as they continued on their journey. They path took them directly from the cafe and toward the train station where Shun stopped to regard the map. It was a network of grids and different train stops, a listing of times off to the side. There was so much going on it was difficult to determine what was what. Was that a town or a point of interest?

Her eyes continued to scan the board until something else caught her attention. It was a sign with a blacked out mini pet on it and a red circle with a line over the top of it. No mini pets allowed. She stared at it a moment longer until Shun asked her a question and Mitsu turned her attention back to the map trying to make heads and tails of everything that was there.

Her fingers trailed along the top looking for anything that looked like Howling Crest but there wasn't even a train stop listed that started with H. Frowning she looked the map over again just to be sure but finally shook her head. It wasn't on the map. Did it not exist? Maybe...it wasn't there anymore? The thought saddened her since she was missing out on seeing the place her dad grew up once again.

Shun continued to look over the map while Mitsu searched for Howling Crest. He was trying to keep the landmark images in mind since reading wasn't going to get him all too far with this. After awhile, he saw her shake her head. Hm... Maybe this train didn't go there but there was a chance they could reach it from the temple.

"Why don't we go to Shizukesa Temple first? Last I recalled it had a second line connecting to it. Maybe we'll be able to go to Howling Crest from there," the Reaper suggested. He still figured it may be more or less along the way, and besides, he was curious of whether that temple had been rebuilt.

Hopefully... after the year had gone by, the locals there were a little less hostile towards reapers. He'd rather not get jumped again like he did last time.

Mitsu was busy scanning the map a third time but eventually just nodded. Perhaps the further north they went the more likely they would be to find a map that had Howling Crest on it. It certainly wasn't on this map but that didn't mean it didn't exist. At least that's what she had to keep telling herself. It was the place her father grew up and not just bedtime stories to lull her to sleep.

"Which train?" Her voice was a little rough but her eyes were scanning the different routes and arrival times. If Shun could point out the line they needed she could probably find the next arrival time so they would know when they needed to leave.

Shun furrowed his brow as he heard her voice sounding a little rough. It needed a little more rest. Though, he visibly traced the route leading to Shizukesa temple, then pointing at it.

"The one with the dotted gold line," he said outloud. She should be able to tell him the name of the line so that they could grab their tickets. Hopefully the wait for the train wouldn't be too long. It was hard to say when the next one may come. It didn't really matter too much since there was still no rush, but sitting around a train station didn't seem entirely ideal to him as for something to do.

Nodding Mitsu looked for the name of the line and then checked the schedule. She seemed to stare at the schedule for a moment her eyes growing a little wider before she pulled out her phone to look at the time. There was no explanation after that as she looked to the tracks to see if anything was coming before getting behind Shun and trying to push him toward the ticket booth.

"Hurry Hurry!" Her ears twitched as she heard the approaching train and only tried to push Shun faster.

While he had been relaxed and didn't think much about the sounds of an oncoming train, Mitsu's sudden ushering was more than enough to let him know that was going to be their train. If they missed it, they would probably be stuck at the station for a few hours.

"Kusoo..." he hissed before grabbing Mitsu's arm and rushing over to the ticket booth.

"Two tickets for the approaching train to Shizukesa Temple," he said urgently before slapping down some seeds to pay. The ticket master was a little slow with the exchange, which had Shun huffing a little in irritation. But before too long, he had both tickets in hand, and he began to usher his lycan towards the boarding area.. just as the train arrived. Letting out a breath, he went on with her and went to find some seats that were a little more secluded from where a few of the passengers were currently sitting.

No need to crowd.

The Reaper set his bag down onto the floor under his seat.

"Made it just in time.."

The rushing had turned from her pushing to him pulling her along with haste. She followed as fast as she could through the people to the ticket booth, throwing her hands in front of herself to keep from slamming into it. The extra weight of the backpack made it a little hard to stop.

Shun was already in the process of getting the tickets but the lycan fidgeted waiting through the ticket master's agonizingly slow progress. With the tickets finally in hand it was all hustling again as the train arrived until they were finally on board with no risk of being left behind. There Mitsu finally relaxed placing a hand over her beating heart.

"Ah.." Too much excitement too fast. Walking for a long time she could handle but she had been doubtful for a moment if they would make it. Reaching for Shun's arm she took hold as he made his way through the train to a more secluded area before placing his bag down and had a seat.

Shuffling her bag off her shoulders Mitsu set it down lightly beside her on the ground before having a seat herself. Again she nodded, it seemed they had indeed just made it considering the train was nearly boarded and there was a call that they would be leaving shortly.

Settling down, Shun took a moment to relax, letting the adrenaline burst from almost missing their train wash away.

"The ride should be a few hours long," he commented. It was a fair distance away from the school, but these trains were pretty speedy from past experiences, "Best get comfortable for now. Is there anything you need at the moment?"

He asked this, then paused for a moment.

"Oh. Do you want the window seat?" he added, figuring she may appreciate that. While he enjoyed staring out as the world passed by, he would let her have the priority if she wanted it.
