For now? Freya rolled her eyes and shook her head, where Kettil couldn't see. The poor boil just didn't understand how relationships worked yet. She had all the patience in the world to teach him all about how she was always right forever and ever. She leaned in and kissed his head, before she took some of her supplies and got to work separating most of the dreads off to one side, so she could focus on a spare few on the other.

"Good. Turn on teh show? I wants teh sees if is any good. I hears some peoples likes it, but then sometimes they don't gets it. I don't knows. It just looks like a cartoon teh me, what's teh gets?"

Kettil was determined. That much was apparent.

He reached over and grabbed the remote so he could start the show, "Sometimes cartoons have that way about them, I guess. Not all cartoons are for scarelings," he said thoughtfully with a bit of a shrug. For the most part he made sure to sit still as she started work and he kept his eyes directed toward the skelevision.

"Where did ya hear about it from?" He asked curiously.

"My twin sister." Freya murmured quietly, as she started to get into the daunting task of slowly pulling apart each individual dread, one by one. It would take her all day, and she was more than willing to do it. She started with one thick dread on the left, soaking it in goop before she began slowly pulling it apart with the long end of a tooth comb. She made sure not to pull on the hair, even if it meant taking longer. "She tolds me she likes it, but Sif hates it." She let out a choking laugh. "That alone makes me wants teh sees it!"

He laughed a bit, "Fair enough~," he replied. Kettil would pretty much watch whatever Freya wanted to see. The Muut didn't even question her techniques as she started to soak the dreads and do whatever needed to be done to start the process. He trusted her not to hurt him and even if it did hurt he would forgive her immediately.

"I never honestly watch a lot of skeevee myself, I like bein' outside a lot more," he said thoughtfully as he stared at the screen.

Freya had a single dread in her hands, and she was rubbing it with her fingers, unrolling it very carefully. Her fingers crept up to massage the spots on his scalp where the hair she was working on came from - not to help the process, but just to make Kettil feel better during it. "I don't watch too much either, unless is really late and I can't sleep. Which doesn't happen so much lately." She tugged playfully on his dread and chuckled.

The skelevision roared to life, and the show started, innocently enough. It looked crude, and simple, and she couldn't imagine why her sister liked it so much.

But she still laughed out loud at all the stupid antics.

Kettil was rather relaxed to begin with but as her fingertips moved in and massaged at parts of his scalp, he just relaxed even more. His eyes focused on the screen as the cartoon played on. "I'm sorry, do I tire you out?"

That was a lie. He wasn't sorry at all.

As he watched the cartoon he found that he enjoyed the humor of it even if some of it didn't make sense to him. Perhaps it'd require multiple viewings.

"How's it going so far?" He asked in reference to the dread unlocking process.

Freya's hands paused at his innuendo riddled joke, and she bent her head around as far as she could, to look him right in the eye. She stayed there, eyeing him intensely, before her grin broke her concentration and she bit his nose.

"I meant," She straightened back up, a chuckle hidden in her voice, "That I've been sleepings better lately. I don't knows if I'll let yeh takes credit for that, but is certainly easier teh sleeps in yehr arms than it is alone." She tugged on his ear. "Cheeka." She teased.

She'd only gotten to her second dread when he asked how well it was going. "Ach, yeh better not asks me that so soon, this is goings teh takes a long times. I warned yeh!" Despite that, the two dreads she'd done so far actually looked untangled - moppy, frizzy, and soaked with goop, but untangled! "But is goings well. Slow, but good!"

Suddenly she was eyeing him and he just grinned back at her openly and without shame. She bit his nose and he just scrunched it with a small protest of 'ow', even though it didn't hurt that badly.

"Fair enough, fair enough," he laughed as she tugged his ear. "I sleep better with you in my arms," he smiled as he spoke sincerely. He really did like it when they slept together, even before their relationship had become much more than what it had started out as.

He only grinned, "But I just did ask you, but yes I know it'll take a while. I was just wondering is all."

Whatever Kettil just said went in one ear and out another. Freya had no idea what he meant. And she didn't even ask, she just kept running her fingers through his dreads, and massaging his scalp to find good spots to detangle. She hummed for a moment, but quieted herself when she realized she couldn't hear what they were saying on the show.

"Why does he keeps saying math? Is math a special word in their world? Does it not means math?"
PostPosted: Tue Nov 06, 2012 5:07 pm

Kettil didn't seem to care that she had no response, mostly because he didn't expect one. He just continued to sit staring intently at the screen some more startling a bit when she suddenly spoke to him, "Eh? I dunno. I don't think it means anything special than what it is. Is just math...It's a quirk I guess? Is like catch-phrase or somethin'."

He didn't quite understand some aspects at all, but that's what turning off his brain was for.

...Sadly he was very adept at turning the brain off.

Freya wasn't helping him keep his brain off. She kept rubbing his scalp with her fingertips, promoting bloodflow and keeping the skin from feeling worn with all the work she was putting into combing out his hair. She had four dreads combed out now, and she took a break to play with the combed out hair, filtering her fingers through it and bouncing her hand against it's fluffy, frizzy surface playfully.

"Yehr hair is bouncy because it was in dreads so long." She giggled. "I push it down and it just comes back up again." She kept doing this, before it made her laugh too much and she put the comb down to calm herself.

Brain wasn't meant to be shut off today, it seemed. Either way he just let her do what she wanted, not honestly caring what she did. He was amused when she started bouncing and tugging at the released bits of hair, "Bouncy and probably pretty long," he said thoughtfully.

"I'll probably need a bit of a haircut," he hummed softly.

Her laughter just made him laugh with her but not quite as much.

Sure enough when she pulled the dreads out, the hair was far longer than she'd expected. In fact, it was almost twice the length that his dreads had been. "Ja.. I thinks yeh'll needs a haircut. I'm not very good at it, we used teh trims each others hair, but maybe yeh should gets it professionally done, just because they will care for yehr hair further and makes it nice." She ran her fingers into the free hair, brushing her nails against his scalp softly. "But is nice now that hair is free, ja? I thinks I am.. maybe.. one fourth done?" It was progress!

She wasn't watching the show as much as she thought she would. She was far more dedicated to Kettil's hair, diving into her work with gusto.

He closed his eyes a little bit. Slightly distracted by what she was doing to his scalp. Just a bit. Maybe he could get used to it if she kept doing that to him. He let out a small sigh, "Professionally done? Yeah, maybe." He said distractedly.

Kettil opened his eyes wider and stared at the skelevision. Colors and strange dialogue. Good.

"Four is pretty good progress, a lot further than I would get on my own," he laughed.

Freya snickered. "I don't knows if anyone should ever tries teh does this to themself." She murmured. "Is messy, and higher than yehr arms would wants teh keeps up for too long, and plus, if yeh does it yehrself," Her fingers trailed across his scalp again, nails scritching softly. "I don't thinks this feels as good. Is true?" She tilted her head, to look at him from the side, her expression the picture of innocence.
