Something like justice, or something like faith..
Stefan rose an eyebrow, giving her an odd look after that silly pun of hers. Still, he couldn't help but chuckle, just because of how corny it really was. ""Sounds good to me." He took the eggs she handed him, having to think for a moment to really remember how to crack them. The first one was a little sloppy, but he didn't get any shells on the pan, at least. He was a little better at cracking the others. To her saying this wasn't as exciting, Stefan smiled, shaking his head, and said, "Less of a mess to clean up, though."
He could almost feel the eyes on them as they cooked breakfast together like an old-fashioned couple, but that feeling went away soon enough. All he focused on now was being with Mellina, cooking eggs and bacon.
When the breakfast had been made, Stefan had to admit that the food smelled delicious. "That wasn't so hard," he said, despite having a bit of trouble making sure the eggs were cooked right. When they had sat down to eat, Stefan sat across from Mellina so they could talk, and, of course, so he could get a good look at her while they did so. There was a little more teasing from Vincent, but nothing that made Stefan do anything more than roll his eyes or shake his head. Sometimes Stefan even laughed a little now that the tension had started to fade.
Stefan had just been finishing his breakfast when there was a knock at the door. Everyone lifted their heads, wondering who it could possibly be.. Well, it could be someone that new those who actually lived there. On the other hand, what if it was Alex or one of his men? Why he would knock, Stefan wasn't sure, but.. It was better to be safe than sorry. "I'll get it." He got out of his seat and got to the door, taking a second before opening it. "Yes?" When he saw who it was, however, his eyes grew wide.
At the door, standing tall, was a man in uniform. His hair was an auburn color, his eyes bright blue. For the moment, he kept a straight, serious face. Then a look of realization hit, and he looked just as shocked as Stefan. "Private Walters?!" As soon as the angry words left the man's mouth, Stefan stood tall and straight, arms at his sides, his face becoming serious. "S..Sir!" he said with a clear voice.
The man looked him up and down for a second, seeming genuinely irritated. "Walters, mind telling me what the hell you're doing here, looking like you're dressed for a sleepover, when you're supposed to be on duty?" A drop of sweat trailed down Stefan's temple as he tried to come up with an answer. Here he was, standing in front of one of the higher-ups, out of uniform, even his hair a slight mess. He opened his mouth to speak, but the man interrupted. "I know for a fact this is not anywhere near your house, Private. You've got some explaining to do, so let's hear it!" He paused, leaning his head a bit toward the door. Eying Stefan, he said, "Is that bacon I smell? Well, you've made yourself quite at home here, haven't you, Walters?"
Despite Stefan being taller than this man, something about the other seemed.. bigger, metaphorically. He had power over Stefan, that much was obvious, and he was obviously pissed to see Stefan there. The soldier didn't blame him, either. He was supposed to be finding the Prince and bringing him back. He couldn't imagine how angry he would be when he found out Merlin was there the whole time. Of course, he had to tell him.. If he didn't, he'd find out himself, and Stefan would be in even bigger trouble than he already was. Speaking in that clear voice, obviously one a soldier would use when speaking to one of higher rank, Stefan said, "Sir, if you'd like to come inside, I can explain myself immediately." The other man scowled for a second, then huffed. "I hope you don't expect me to have a serious conversation with you looking like that. Get your a** back into uniform, then we'll talk." Stefan nodded, getting out a "Sir, yes, sir!" before a loud "Move it!" interrupted him, catching him off guard, and causing him to quickly turn and rush off to the guest room he was staying in to find his clothes. While he did so, the other soldier stepped inside, closing the door behind him. He stood tall, with his hands behind his back as he took a look around. He was unaware of how many people resided in the home, and Stefan didn't think to ask them before inviting the man in. He was sure they wouldn't mind.. Well, he hoped.
((omg I almost had him say that soon he'll be an "eggs-pert" (like expert) but I couldn't get myself to type it! Aaah! Also, because it's a little cliche, I'm going to say the guy doesn't have an eyepatch like he does in the picture.))

Mellina Mizu Mellina enjoyed their little cooking endeavour, not messy like their baking but still fun for them, plus teaching Stefan more cooking even simple as it was. Having as much a nice little breakfast with him too, ignoring majority the teasing, and having a nice conversation with him over their food. Nodding letting Stefan get the door, she took their empty plates to clean them, though kept looking curiously toward the direction to the door, wondering who was there.
Finished with the dishes, she'd seen Stefan scurrying by back to his room as she got to the exit of the kitchen to see who was at the front door. Staring a moment, giving this male a once over, Mellina walked a bit closer. Stefan seemed to trust him enough to let the male in, so she was curious who he was. Speaking up, "Hello...." Pausing a moment thinking on her words just bluntly continuing, "seems you know Stefan? But...who sir are you? And how have you come upon my home?" Saying hers rather then ours, because this male hadn't seen the others yet so she didn't want him getting confused and possibly acussing Stefan of something.

Something like justice, or something like faith..
The man by the door waited, resisting the urge to tap his foot, impatiently. As he looked around, he caught Mellina looking him over. He smirked a bit, more to himself, seeming to have misunderstood the staring. When she spoke up, he turned his full attention to her. "Hello." he said in return. Taking his hat off, he walked closer to her, taking her hand, and giving it a soft kiss. Suddenly, the loud, strict soldier had become a gentleman in the presence of a woman. A beautiful woman, at that. Letting her hand go, he introduced himself. "Yes, I do know.. Stefan. I am Sergeant Reynolds. He is one of the numerous troops who work under me. I guess you could say I'm his boss."
Putting on his hat, he began to explain what he was doing there. "Soldiers were sent out not too long ago, to find a missing Prince. His name is Merlin, and we were told to return him as soon as we got a hold of him. Private Walters was one of those troops. However, I hadn't expected to find him here.." He began to speak lower, to himself. "To think, one of my best men, disappointing me like this while on duty.." He looked at Mellina, giving her a quick look-over. With a slight smirk, he added, "Although, I can see just what might have tempted him."
As soon as he'd said that, Stefan had returned, fully dressed in his uniform. When he saw Mellina talking with the Sergeant, he became both curious and a bit cautious. Reynolds returned his attention to Stefan, going back into "soldier-mode". "Walters, what do you think you're doing here?? Were my orders to run off and sleep with the first woman you found? Because I sure as hell don't remember that part, do you??" Stefan fought the urge to argue when Reynolds assumed he'd been there to sleep with Mellina. "Sir, permission to explain myself?" The Sergeant nodded.
Stefan explained to Reynolds that the women were letting Merlin stay with them, and that they had agreed to lead the soldier to the prince. He stretched the truth just a little, however, by telling him that when he got here, Merlin had already broken his leg in a bad fall. The rest of the story was a little hard for Reynolds to believe, especially when Merlin walked in with the others--out of curiosity--and was walking just fine. Not only that, but when they claimed it had also been snowing too much to bring the Prince home, in the middle of Summer, it was hard not to be skeptical. "I know it sounds crazy.. but it's the truth."
"Hmph.. Well, it's nice and sunny now, and he looks like he can walk. I think it's as good a time as any to bring him home." Stefan knew neither he nor Merlin wanted to leave. He could see it on Merlin's face, too, who was watching from some distance. Stefan looked to Mellina, frowning. There had to be some way to convince the Sergeant to let them stay, at least a little longer.

Mellina Mizu Mellina felt a light flush at the Sergeant taking her hand and kissing it, listening to the male after he'd let her hand go, explaining his association to Stefan. Speaking up a little to what he was saying, "well I should think he wasn't disappointing you...though he will explain that soon enough." Not wanting to say the whole thing about Merlin and somehow jumble anything. Though at his remark, she stiffened about what he said with Stefan being tempted. So far this man was very back and forth, she didn't know whether to consider him someone nice or just perverted in some way. Though of course her question was answered pretty quickly when Stefan came back and Reynolds had made that comment of sleeping with the first woman he found. Now that made her absolutely bristle, pursing her lips seeming all indignant, ready to basically bite back with some scathing remark but she just stayed seething, trying to let it go. Just stewing while Stefan was explaining things, one arm behind her back, her hand gripping onto her other arm, just for the sake of having some, grip on things as you could say to keep herself calm. "Excuse me Sergeant Reynolds, if I may input my own view here...the Prince Merlin here has well found himself in the company of a dear friend of mine...She is a princess herself, so a woman of noble birth, and the two seem to be quite a nice match...It might be better benefitting to let the two have at least a couple days time with each other, in fact I would think maybe the king would even be pleased to find that his son has made such a fitting association." Meaning that he found himself a princess, as the two were likely going to stay together. She had added in the thing about the king being pleased about it, because keeping the male happy was what they all wanted. And it would benefit them all wouldn't it, well the two souldiers she meant. "We do have another spare room if you would like...if the idea suits you to let the prince's stay extend for a few more days. Then you may stay here," And then he and Stefan and Merlin and probably Diana if not them all could head to the kingdom with Merlin. Giving Reynolds an angelic little smile, trying to keep back her seething annoyance at how the man looked at her like some piece of meat, though of course with that knowledge, she didn't like offering him the spare room because she wouldn't put it past him trying anything like Alex did when he used to be around them.

Something like justice, or something like faith..
Stefan couldn't seem to come up with a reason that he knew would persuade Reynolds to let them stay. He tried to think, but anything that crossed his mind, he knew the Sergeant would just brush it off and demand they leave anyway. The soldier was relieved to hear Mellina had come up with an idea.. but would it work? Just using the King's happiness as an excuse wasn't quite enough to convince the Sergeant. While that was important, how was he supposed to know for sure that it would make the King happy? For all Reynolds knew, the King would have already had a wife picked out, and would instead be furious. That was common in royalty, for the father to choose who he thought was suitable. "I'll find out how the King would feel about this news after bringing his son back," is what he replied. Mellina was wise, however, to use what seemed to be Reynolds` weakness against him. The offer to stay there among them, along with that beautiful smile of hers, that might as well have been all the persuasion he needed. He sighed, acting as if he was doing them a favor. He didn't want to let it show too much that this woman was practically all that kept him from leaving. Especially after he just bit Stefan's head off about the same subject. "Obviously this is an important matter to you all.. Well, I'm not heartless. I suppose I can let you stay for a short time."
Reynolds may have seemed all over the place at first, but when looking at Mellina, he only had one thought in mind. He wanted her. He hadn't thought that Stefan could actually be in love with this woman, either, so he wasn't very careful about being too secretive. It didn't take long at all for Stefan to see the hints, and he was not happy with what he was seeing. Turning his attention to Mellina, Reynolds smirked. "I don't suppose this spare room is anywhere near your room.. Is it?" One of the big signs that told Stefan that the Sergeant was interested in Mellina. Scowling a bit, he started to speak up. "Sir, I don't--" "Did I give you permission to speak, Walters?" he interrupted, "Now.. If it's not too much trouble, I'd love to join you all for breakfast." Stefan held back a sigh, while trying to calm down a bit. Talking back to a commanding officer was an idiotic move. It was just harmless flirting, right? If things went too far, or he said something he found inappropriate, Stefan wouldn't let it go so easily. For now, he'd have to keep a close eye on the Sergeant. "Yes, sir.." he said, reluctantly.

THE SergeantAs Reynolds requested, he joined the group for breakfast--very awkward for Stefan, especially given the way the sergeant "hinted" at Mellina a few times; sometimes it was subtle, other times it took a lot of strength not to knock his lights out. The man was shown to his room, and while up there, he had a serious but private discussion with Stefan about what his punishment would be once they had left. Stefan, unable to object to his commanding officer, could only sit there and say nothing. It wasn't easy. As Stefan headed out of the room, Reynolds said, "One moment, Walters. Let me ask you something. That woman.. "Mellina", right? What's her story?" Stefan furrowed his brow. "Story, sir?" "Yes, her story," he said, nonchalantly examining different things in the room as he spoke. He finally got to the point by saying, "Is she seeing anyone? While we're on the subject, is there anything about her I should know that could.. give me an advantage?" He had a slight smirk as he asked the question. Stefan was very hesitant with an answer. The Sergeant seemed casual as ever talking about it, which gave the soldier the impression that he really didn't know about he and Mellina. Only because of this, he was as patient as he could be while answering. "No, sir. She's not available." He was calm, while saying, "Actually, she's.. Well, she's with me.." When Stefan said this, Reynolds seemed disappointed, but apologized, claiming he would not go after another man's woman, and the conversation was over.
After Stefan was excused, Reynolds stayed in the room for the rest of the day. He felt no interest to interact with these people at that moment. Besides, he was tired after spending so much time searching for the Prince.
At night, when everyone was getting ready for bed, Stefan had knocked on the sergeant's door just to make sure he was alright. Anyone would find it odd that he hadn't left the room for hours. Not even to eat with them for dinner. After that, everyone seemed to have gone to bed, and all was quiet. Reynold's lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, not yet dressed for sleep. He was still in full uniform, just laying on top of the covers. He wasn't really feeling like sleeping after all of this.
Everything about this situation pissed him off. Stefan staying at this place without even thinking to contact him about it.. The lower-ranked soldier most likely having all kinds of "fun times" with a beautiful woman while Reynolds was working his a** off like Stefan was supposed to be doing. Though, he didn't assume that the other soldier could have been hard at work, as well, only in different ways--saving Diana with the others, for example.
The point was, Reynolds` job was exhausting, and it seemed like Stefan was using this as some sort of vacation. It was unfair that that soldier had found Merlin. He only did because he was lucky to stumble upon the women who found him first, and now he was going to get the credit for finding the runaway prince. What did Reynolds get? Nothing!
The Sergeant lay there, his arms crossed over his chest, one leg crossed over the other. He continued to stare at the ceiling, just thinking.. How could he get the credit for this? He was the one who deserved it.. Besides, Stefan was one of his men. Even worse, though, Reynolds knew very well how good-hearted the soldier was. If Stefan was keeping the Prince from going back, it only would have been out of good intentions.. A pity, too. If Stefan had gone against orders for more selfish reasons, and betrayed his comrades and the King, well.. the punishments for that would be far more than what he planned to do to Stefan for simply delaying Merlin's return.
But... who was to say that's not how it happened? What if... What if the Sergeant brought both Merlin and Stefan back, and claimed the blonde soldier had taken advantage of the Prince's disappearance by taking him as his own hostage? He could just imagine the shock on Walters` face as he was being arrested.. And Who was to say he was lying? Well, Stefan would... and if there were enough around who knew both Stefan and Reynolds, they'd surely believe the soldier over the Sergeant..
Though, maybe.. there was a way around that.. Suddenly, before Reynolds knew it, his mind had started to wander about his own betrayals. He spent the next hour, silently plotting.. Scheming. The Sergeant smirked.. This was going to get interesting very soon.

Mellina Mizu Mellina had tried to be so polite and sweet to Reynolds as they were speaking and while he shared a meal with them all, though she found it to be mind numbingly hard, because she could practically feel it radiating off him and in his words how he just seemed to...well...want her, his flirting and all. And how he just kept looking at her like she was some piece of meat, it really was annoying her. But, having had enough years' experience around Alex, she had the patience of a saint to deal with this man. But she still was fairly hot tempered, managing to keep it down for now. Saying some little farewells, not like goodbye, but like good night to the man when he went to stay in his room the entirety of the day. She had managed to be a total sweetheart for that time before actually rolling her eyes about any of his flirting.
Later that night, Mellina was in her bedroom, not knowing of the conversation between Stefan and Reynolds, particularly about her. Yawning and more likely nodding off this time as opposed to the night before. Though she went over locking her window tight, closing the shades around it. Mell flopped onto her bed, looking over the edge a little, thinking about the other night when Stefan was there. She wished he were staying with her again but it wouldn't have been the best idea around his...boss, since that was what he kind of was for all intents and purposes. Curling up, she fell asleep quickly enough this time, sleeping well through the night.
Waking up earlier this time, showering and freshening up and changing, Mellina went downstairs to the kitchen to start on breakfast for everyone since it seemed she was the only one awake at the moment. Pulling out eggs and plenty other things just making a little breakfast buffet so everyone could pick at eggs, pancakes, etc. Humming to herself while she was preparing everything.

THE SergeantReynolds was up and awake early next morning. He woke up at the crack of dawn every morning, so, in fact, this was sleeping in for him. While getting dressed, he caught the scent of breakfast and his stomach growled. He did stay in the room for most of the day before, so he hadn't had much of a chance to eat. On his way downstairs, it didn't take long for the Sergeant to see that he was the first one up. Well, aside from whoever was cooking breakfast. At least, that's what he assumed with how quiet things were. Peeking into the kitchen, Reynolds saw Mellina walking around the kitchen, and was pleased to see she was alone.
"Smells delicious." Reynolds commented, walking into the kitchen. He moved closer to where Mellina was cooking, and leaned against the counter. This would be the perfect time to smooth-talk Mellina away from Stefan and into his own arms. Though, with their deal to only stay for a few days, it wasn't like he had the time to take things so slow. Reynolds watched Mellina cook for a bit, not saying anything at first. Then he got an idea and smirked just slightly. Moving closer, he stood a bit behind Mellina. With her hand holding the spatula, the Sergeant reached around and held his hand over hers. "Perhaps you could use some help?" he offered, his voice soft and low, his lips near her ear.
Unfortunately for the Sergeant, but fortunate for Mellina, some footsteps could be heard as someone made their way down the stairs. Reynolds let go of Mellina's hand and stepped away, taking a seat at the kitchen table just in time for Stefan to walk in. The soldier was a little surprised to see the Sergeant and Mellina alone in the kitchen. Surprised and concerned. He gave Reynolds a long, suspicious look while the Sergeant acted completely normal. He just had to count on Mellina not saying anything, since he had said that he wouldn't go after another man's woman. Brushing it off, Stefan moved behind Mellina--just as Reynolds had--and reached around to plant a kiss on her cheek. Reynolds rolled his eyes a bit while they weren't looking. 'Lucky b*****d.' he thought.
"Morning." Stefan said, wrapping one arm around Mellina's waist. "Anything I can help with?" While he and Stefan's approaches seemed similar in Reynolds` eyes--Affectionately holding her in some way from behind, while offering to help cook breakfast, for example--he didn't quite understand the biggest difference between the two; Stefan's motives were a bit purer than Reynolds`.

Mellina Mizu Mellina had not expected anyone to wake up yet and show up in the kitchen, least of all Reynolds, whom she really had hoped wouldn't have been one of the first to wake up and be left alone with him in the kitchen. Of course, that wish was stomped into the ground as the same male she didn't want to be left alone with now showed up in the kitchen. Looking from the corner of her eye at him her attention also on the eggs and all not wanting to burn anything. "Good morning...and thank you...let's hope it's as delicious when everyone's actually eating the food." Smiling lightly just hoping he kept his distance. Ah, yet another thing smashed into the ground, that hope as Reynolds she felt standing behind her, tensing ever so slightly and with that urge to just turn and smack the male as he pressed into her, getting goosebumps through her body with his speaking. Her grip tightening on the spatula, her actions he could attribute to her being shy about such closeness or something, though that certainly wasn't the case it was more because she wanted to beat the living daylights out of this man. Before getting a word past her lips, Stefan to her relief had woken up and come downstairs, smiling at him as he moved over to her, relaxing immediately with him there. "Good morning," smiling, turning her head a little managing to give him a little kiss as well, thinking about his question after, "Mhm...well maybe the bacon...just grab the other spatula and flip them out of the pan there onto a plate...I don't want them to burn." Since she was just about done with all the eggs and was scooping out the ones she had so far fried onto a plate and off the pan. All the food so far being scooped onto large platter plates so that when everyone else woke up they could just pick and grab at anything from them. Really she was just happy Stefan was there now, wary of being left alone with Reynolds now since she knew he'd probably make another attempt at getting....well...too close for her own comfort.

Stefan nodded to Mellina at the request, and was soon doing just as she asked, scooping the bacon from the pan to the plate. All the while, he was watching Reynolds from the corner of his eye. Ever since he learned that the man had a thing for Mellina, he'd become very suspicious.. Protective, too. He also wanted to make sure the Sergeant knew that she did not belong to him. To make that clear, Stefan finished putting the bacon onto a plate, and waited until her hands were clear.. Then he took her in his arms, playfully pulling her against his chest and giving her a kiss.
Reynolds stared at the two for only a second before looking at his fingers, which were impatiently tapping on the table. "You two sure are cozy for a couple who barely know each other." Smirking just a bit, he joked, "Don't tell me this was one of those drunk hook-ups, Stefan. Or maybe she's doing some sort of.. favor? You saved her life, perhaps?" He was almost thinking out loud now, as if trying to think of a reason that Mellina would fall for Stefan so easily.
Stefan, of course, didn't take kindly to this. With his arms still around Mellina, he scowled right back at the Sergeant. "What can we say, sir? You can't help who you fall for.." Reynolds didn't like this answer, but didn't push the subject any further. The last thing he said on the matter was, "It's a bad idea getting so attached. Remember, you're leaving with me to take the Prince back." Stefan didn't reply this time. He was supposed to be on duty, so now that his Sergeant knew where he was, there was a big chance that Reynolds wouldn't allow him to return here until his service as a soldier was over. Stefan unknowingly held Mellina tighter to him at the thought.. and Reynolds, with his face turned away from the two, had an all too mischievous smirk.

Mellina Mizu Mellina had taken her attention from Reynolds for now, not having any thought about him since that move of his before had just been awkwardly uncomfortable and since she was certain he knew for fact she was with Stefan, so it bugged her how he was being. She finished up what food she was cooking, the eggs and scooped them out alongside the bacon just before Stefan pulled her over to him, giggling lightly, kissing him back, her arms hanging around his neck. Stefan wasn't the only one basically getting annoyed to Reynold's comments about them, hanging on Stefan as she rested her head on his shoulder a moment looking directly at Reynolds, "well now...I'd think the Sergeant was concerned of...one of us being faithful to the other...Tell me Sergeant, do you feel something would happen should we be seperated..." The fact of Stefan having to go with Reynolds and Merlin, and leaving the girls. That comment being the only way she could hold back from letting out a rather scathing remark at Reynolds, so instead she just questioned him.

Reynolds gave Mellina an unamused look at first, but then smiled. "Of course I'm concerned," he said. "I know you two haven't been together long. Think about it. Stefan has been serving in the military for quite some time now, and the men and women of the military are always separated, and for good reason. His training and duties also take up almost all of his time, and the time it doesn't take up is spent eating and sleeping. I imagine Stefan hasn't been able to touch a woman like that in a very long time." At this next comment, he had to try hard to hold back a smirk. "Wouldn't you say it's only expected that a soldier like him would act this way around the first woman who shows interest in him?" "Sergeant!" Stefan snapped at the man, almost before Reynolds had finished his words; a warning for him to stop what he was saying. It was obvious what Reynolds was getting at. He was suggesting that Stefan was only with Mellina because she was the only woman he's had the opportunity to mess around with while on duty, ever since joining the military.
Reynolds was slightly surprised to see Stefan talk back like that, but it only made it impossible to hold back that smirk anymore. At least if there was a fight, the Sergeant wouldn't be completely lying to his higher-ups when he said Stefan became aggressive. Although, he did want to avoid a fist fight. With the soldier's size compared to his own, Reynolds wouldn't deny that Stefan would likely overpower him easily. So, he quickly turned his attention to Mellina again. "Do I think something would happen..?" he repeated, as if thinking it over. "Well, Mellina, if I may ask... Do you feel something would happen?" He gave her the slightest look--one that Stefan didn't quite catch, but he guessed Mellina would. It was a look that seemed to just dare her to tell Stefan what happened in the kitchen just before he got there.
Reynolds got to his feet, clearing his throat. "I think I'll have some breakfast later." He reached to his side hip and pulled out a handgun. Surprising enough that he'd brought it to breakfast, but now he was taking it out and examining it a bit right in the middle of the kitchen. "I'm going to go out for a bit and warm up with some target practice." He eyed Stefan now, when he said, "I highly suggest you join me sometime in the next few days that I'm here, Stefan. Assuming you haven't been doing much here, it'd be good for you to get some practice." He gave a slight nod to Mellina, and then exited the kitchen. With his face hidden as he made his way out the front door, the two didn't get a chance to catch that devilish grin of his.
Stefan had followed Reynolds only to the entrance way of the kitchen, then just watched him leave. He stared at the front door for a long moment or two before turning around to face Mellina. He had a look of worry in his eyes. "Mellina, I wouldn't.." He quickly went back to Mell's side and held both of her hands gently in one of his, and used his other hand to lift her chin. "You know what he says isn't true, don't you? I would never use you like that, I swear." Despite trying to tell himself that Mellina knew Reynolds was trying to get under their skin, he couldn't help but worry that she would believe those words, deep down, and start to doubt Stefan. That worry was clearly seen in the soldier's eyes as he looked into Mellina's.

Mellina Mizu Mellina had stayed how she was, holding onto Stefan, her head nestled onto his shoulder watching Reynolds warily, and frowning as she listened to him. This man really had no shame, and continued to just piss her off. Mellina wasn't some fool hardy flighty woman, and even a short time around Stefan she had trusted him so much, and simply fallen for him, and with the way Stefan behaved, his mannerisms, etc, she wasn't going to so easily be swayed by what Reynolds said about Stefan. Another reason for that was Reynolds' mind only went to the whole perversion of this...he thought it was all just physical it seemed, but Mellina and Stefan knew the extent of how their relationship had gone to, so far nothing more then their cutesy PDA, kissing and all. She could deal with Vincent's teasing Stefan and her, but not this Reynolds' remarks. Giving a slight squeeze to Stefan's arm as he snapped out at Reynolds, her grip to reassure him if she could.
Giving a sharp, quick comment to what he had said, "No....of course not.... She held her tongue about what she could tell Stefan. Mellina had just the slightest hint of malice in her eyes as she glared at Reynolds' back when he stood to go out. She had understood that look, and it infuriated her, she wanted to tell Stefan but frankly she didn't want to piss this man off and make him decide to make Stefan and Merlin leave sooner. Dropping her arms from Stefan, she let him walk following Reynolds before he had come back over to her. Her hands gripping slightly to Stefan's, as he held hers, looking up into his eyes. Leaning in the last few inches, she laid a sweet kiss on his own lips, "Ssh now....You don't have to try and convince me....I wouldn't believe a word out of his mouth....but I have to say quite frankly, that man pisses me off..." Sighing, taking a moment keeping Stefan to herself in the silence of the kitchen, not having to listen to Reynolds' poison. "Now...let's eat shall we....and just enjoy the peace and quiet for awhile..." Thinking though, after, maybe Stefan should just go and....appease Reynolds' attitude by doing target practice with him or something, but only be careful around him.

((woop! Long post o/))
Stefan felt both relieved and foolish when Mellina assured him she didn't believe a word Reynolds said. Foolish, of course, because he knew he shouldn't have expected her to believe that man. "Yeah.." he agreed before giving her another kiss in return. Reynolds was pissing him off, too.. "He's always been like that, but we figured he was just being like this because higher ups often try to be hard on us, to make us stronger. I never thought he was really such an a**." He ran both of his hands through his hair, front to back, exhaling so he could calm down. Reynolds was gone for now, so he could finally relax. Stefan nodded to the idea of eating, a smile on his face. Just he and Mellina again. Soon, he hoped, their lives would once again be Reynolds-free. Though, Stefan was dreading the end of breakfast, secretly. He also knew that it might be a good idea to meet with the Sergeant soon. If not to talk all of this out, then to at least try not to let Reynolds think Stefan had forgotten all about his training.
So, breakfast passed, and Stefan went to fetch his gun. Then, he gave Mell a kiss on the forehead, promising to be back soon, and left. It didn't take long to find the Sergeant, following the sounds of gunshots. It also didn't take long for Reynolds to hear Stefan coming. Other than the sound of the gunshots, and the birds in the trees, the woods around the home were rather quiet. A man's footsteps were easily heard. Without turning around, the Sergeant said, "Glad you could make it." In which Stefan only replied with a, "Mm.." before getting his own gun ready. Stefan's gun had always been a shotgun. Larger, two-handed guns were always just more suited for the man. Reynolds, however, was more of a handgun sort of shooter, such as the gun he was currently using.
For a while, the two said nothing, only shooting at different trees--their only target for practice. With Stefan's shot gun, of course, he had to switch aim more frequently than the Sergeant to avoid blowing the targeted tree down. Finally, Stefan stopped shooting so he could bring up the matter that was really bothering him. "Sir.. With all due respect.. What the hell was all of that about??" He stared at the back of Reynolds` head while the Sergeant still had his gun aimed at a tree in the distance. Although, he had stopped shooting by now. "What are you talking about, soldier, and why the hell are you raising your voice to me?" He turned to face Stefan, and that's when the heated argument started. They were at it for quite some time, Stefan saying just what was on his mind; about Reynolds` words being inappropriate, and that he acted like he knew all there was, yet he knew nothing about he and Mellina. If he knew about what happened in the kitchen, he'd surely have had more to say. Reynolds, however, responded as calmly as he could, trying not to seem like the bad guy while he explained that he was only giving his own thoughts.. That he didn't think Mellina would be with Stefan long if he continued to serve in the military. All the while inwardly cursing the soldier.
For a long moment, the argument had just stopped, both of the men just silently looking toward one another. Finally, Stefan huffed and turned away, grumbling something about his practice being over. He was ready to get back to Mellina. While he was slinging his gun over his shoulder by the strap, he said, "I need you to swear, sir. Swear that, for as long as she and I are together, you will keep your distance from Mellina." His back was turned, so he didn't see the smirk that showed on Reynolds` face for just a moment. "Swear? What are we, little girls?" He scoffed, but said, "Fine, then." He held one hand up, palm out, while holding the other hand to his chest, over his heart (forced to hold his gun to his heart, as well, as he still held it in his hand). "I swear." Stefan glanced back at him, staring for a moment.. Then he nodded, muttered a thanks, and started back for the house.
Reynolds` smile slowly disappeared, and his arms lowered to his sides. Only a moment later, he caught himself glaring as the soldier was leaving, his gun held out, pointed at the back of Stefan's head. He held it there for quite some time. His finger trembled against the trigger.. but he soon quickly moved his arm so the gun pointed out to his side, instead, pulling the trigger and shooting at yet another tree. He paused for a long moment before finally putting the weapon away and moving after Stefan. Now wasn't the time.. If he'd shot Stefan just then, it'd be easy for Mellina to figure out what happened. No, he had to be patient..

Mellina Mizu Mellina chuckled just the slightest as Stefan had made the comment of Reynolds really being such an a**, nodding agreeing and afterwards, just having a nice breakfast with Stefan, mellowing out the mood until of course he had to go, and went to find Reynolds. Mellina stayed to clean everything up and go about doing anything else, she had left food for Diana and the others and gone to do any other little chores or something, before relaxing and chatting with Ahmose in her room.
After that day had been over, Mellina was still pretty...bothered, her mind was just all over the place. Not knowing about the whole argument Stefan and Reynolds got into outside. After everyone had gone to sleep, Mellina was still trying to do just that, but she was restless, and kind of tossing and turning. Groaning, just tired of trying, she sat up and slipped out from her room, tip toeing to where Stefan's room was and knocked softly, but heard nothing. She peeked in, seeing he was sleeping, and had a little smile, just letting him sleep then without bothering him. Sighing a little, Mellina walked downstairs, deciding she would get a little fresh air, she stepped out onto the back porch, where the pool was. Watching the moon glimmering on the water, Mellina stood there a moment, slipping her night gown off, showing she had a swimsuit on, she had used her water abilities. Having a pretty blue suit on, little patterns on it, and slipped into the pool, moving like the liquid itself, smooth and quick as she swam around.
