*Veria placed a hand ontop of shorstraws head as keria turned and walked away. He watched sadly. Veria giggled and kisse dhis cheek. "Don't worry shortstraw." he shook his head, "I was suppost to leave her not she leave me..." He shied, "She isn't going to come back or chase after me is she?" Veria shrugged, "I dont really care. More of you for me." But she saw what that made shortstraw even sader then before. She turned into her smaller form and hugged him. "Don't worry remember what i told you?" Shortstraw held back tears and looked away. "this is diffrent veria. I think she's not going to come back wether she ment it or not." Veria nodded, "But i she does your be here waiting for her right?" Shortstraw thought about it and then gave a nod, "Yea... i guess... I'll head to the cabin. Goodnight Veria." She watched him as he pulled away and headed to the marshes, "She waved. Okay see you later." Although she wanted to go after him, she knew what he was thinking so she let him go. When he got closer to the cabin he found a bat land on his shoulder. "hey shortstraw. You look sad again." he stopped and looked to the cabin. This was her home... no... it was there home. He fourced himsefl to walk into the cabin and close the door. But he brushed of Soflora as she trasformed and he walked past everyone up to his room where he slamed the door closed silently. Then he layed down int he bed alone.*

Cyril heard the slam and winced. "S'up with 'im?" Asher sighed and placed her head back on her paws. "Kiera. Most likely. I'll bet he saved her, but she was an ungrateful cow as she's always been." Cyril frowned. "Don' Say tha' Ki can be caring and emotional." Asher laughed. "Yeah. You get that side of her about as often as you see a stone bleeding." Cyril frowned further. "Don' go makin' things worse, Ash." Asher puffed her cheeks. "Hah. As if you'd know better."
Mai, being already in the room tucked up in his basket, noticed Shortstraw and went to greet him. He jumped on the bed and yapped happily but noticed that he was upset. Mai nudged Shortstraws cheek then licked it. Kiera was in the closing hours of the square, and looking through a shop window, it gave her the best idea. Well. Hopefully. As she pressed her hands against the glass, the shiny metal that encircled her finger caught her Eye, making her tear up a little. She was suddenly determined.

*Shortstraw hugged Mai* "Guess it's just you and me for a while buddy." He closed his eyes, "That or your leave me too." he shied, "today was a really long, and confussing day. Hell all week has been. First this richerd controls keria, then i have these nightmares, then he gets her again and i loose my soul under verias curse, and then i loose keria again and then suddenly she shoots me, then suddenly all three of the sisters are on a wall getting all pimped out, and then i saving them and then... i'm here..." he wiped a tear from his eye, been a long week indeed."

Kiera was working on her new little project all night and most of the day. When she first noticed it, she figured, since she wasn't at all creative like Veira and couldn't sing or draw (although those qualities would have been useful too Right now.) She supposed that she would be really good at this. Walking out of the blacksmith in the morning, she waved to the butch man standing beside the anvil. "Thanks Daniel. I'll see you around." The man bellowed a laugh. "Anything for you, princess. Make sure you visit soon!" Kiera smiled, and nodded, before she turned on her heel and started running towards the main stores. "Tell Harriet that her lasagne is amazing For me, 'kay?!" She shouted back to him. Before He could reply, she was already round one of the corners, pulling her hood up so she became mostly unrecognisable. Now, she had a sack backpack weighing her down, and she wasn't all that used to the fact that it was there instead of in her pocket. She stopped in the square, next to the only large tree in the centre. She wondered if she should go back to the cabin today. Her project was almost done, after all. She still felt a bit spineless, although the blacksmiths family had done well to make her miles better. You shouldn't need to make apology items. He's not worth your time at all. Oh yeah, she almost forgot about her little guest.

*Shortstraw however stayed in his room alot latly. He hardly came down,and he spent alot of the time sleeping, or writing. however there were sounds every now ad again that came from the room. Clinking sounds. Inside the closet was now a small backpack, inside it some resions for later if needed on his trips. He fixed his coat, and added a few new little features he could to uprgade it alittle. He then stood up and streached. He was thinking about going to see eve and donte. After all he needed to talk to Eve, and the day before was... well extreamly ackword for him. So he figured he would see her today. He finally opened the door and walked down stairs, heading for the door.*

Asher popped up in front of him. "Want me to come?" She didn't make any comment about his absence from the rest of the household recently, it was clear as to what the reason why was. And she didn't want to stir up anything for Shortstraw. She cared for him, like a mother. And even less so for Kiera, lately. She didn't deserve it.
This was the part Kiera was dreading most, as she walked into one of the side alleys of the square. There was no way around it, she couldn't do this herself. She needed the help of stupid... dirty creatures. And because of her mother, Kiera found herself prone to weakness from their kind. She kept walking deeper into the alley, hand gripped onto her bag strap tight. Until she came to a large rusty iron door at the end. No door handle. She searched her memory for the pass. Then, she knocked on the door in a certain pattern, which made the door open, and revealed lots of women bathed in cloaks of all colors, playing cards games around small tables and socializing. Kiera swept through the numbers, who all ended up staring at her anyway, before she came to three women in particular. She stopped, and brushed her hood back.. "Ladies." She started confidently. The middle one glared at her while the other two giggled into their cloaks. "Seems the princess has finally come for some help." The other nodded. "How demotivating." The middle swept her cloak back, and revealed a mostly bare leg. "What is it you want?" Kiera flicked her wrist. "Something minor. However important to me. You know how this works. I'd rather not associate with your kind if I don't have to." The left giggled. "We're witches. Not rats."

*Shortstraw looked to asher and picked her up placing her on his shoulder as he smiled, "yea. I would like that." He then opened the door and headed out into the town. He moved quickly and took the esest path to the castle, advioding the people he would usally talk to. Then when he reached the castle he opened the front doors and walked in serching for eve. However Veira found him passing the kitchen, "Ah shortstraw..." she followed him and gave hi a hug, ignoring the cat on his shoulder, "Please tell me your better." She nodded, "no. But i'm trying. I need to see Eve." Veria shied, "not me?" He shook his head silenty, "not this time. Though all your help is always appreshated Veria..." She nodded, "Eve is in her room. She's been in there since she got home. odd really. She's not int here much alot now that shes wht high princess and all." Shortstraw nodded and walked ot Eves door and knocked on it... "Eve it's shorstraw... i need some help..."

Asher waited expectantly on Shortstraws shoulder. In the corner of her mind, she quietly wondered to herself where Kiera was, but then she promptly reminded herself that she didn't care. Kiera was fine on her own.
The middle witch grew impatient. "Answer my question, Phoenix princess. What is it you want?" The two witches beside her chuckled to each other. "Probably a breast reduction." The other nodded. "And an a** one." They were testing Kiera's will, and her temple started pulsing. Kill them. They make you weak, don't they? Kiera sighed. "I would like you to enchant an item for me." The three smiled in sync. "Depends what item. And Depends what you want to enchant it with." Kiera chuckled insecurely. "Yeah, that's what the problem is. I want it to be enchanted with something pretty... difficult."

*Eve opened up the door and pulled shortstaw inside quickly as she closed the door and put her back aginst it with a shie and sh crossed her arms. Shortstaw madea face, "your hiding form yuji arnt you." She made a face, "Yea... i'm starting to show. Anyways... what do you need?" Shortstraw shied as Eve made a face, "Damn i pulled the demon in here aswell. I didn't relize she was on your shoulder." Shortstraw patted ashers head, "no she's good, I promes. Anyways i needed to talk to you. I think i can't activate my true abilitys as a demon hunter and unlock the eye due to not having a full soul. And that was before i put some of my soul in keria...." Eve shook her head, "Hold up. Your thinking your weak. Correct?" Shortstraw shied, "i want to know if theres is a possable way to improve yes." Eve smiled and walked ot her bed to sit down. "Shortstraw your a kid all right. Sometimes a persons greatest streigth isn't who they are but rather how they make others feel and do things. i don't mean by takeing control of anything, i mean by asking them, helping them..." "Leading them?" shortstraw finished for her. Eve made a simple statement, "Sometimed its better to Recive What Your Given." Shortstraw whispered to himself in thought, "Reciver Eve." He smiled, "I get it!" Eve chukkled, "good. is taht all?" Shortstraw hugged eve suddenly and ran out the door and quickly to dontes room to see ifhe was okay. "Hey buddy." He was rather in a good mood now, he knew his answer. And he would start it when he got home after visting donte, now he was in a hurry... so it seemed he was excited...*

Dante jumped up and instantly tackled Shortstraw to the ground, bringing Asher down with them. Dante had an arm cast, and flattened Asher with it as they hit the ground. Asher screeched, and jumped back, meanwhile Dante wagged his permanent tail happily. "Shortstraw! You visited! I knew I heard you come in." He sat up on his knees and looked behind Shortstraw. "Where's big sister?" Asher looked to Dante, and Dante seemed to pick it up. But was still as curious as ever, as he focused on Asher. "Is she hurt? Does she need my help?" Asher chuckled a little. "She's not hurt. And I'm not sure you'd be able to do anything anyway in that state." Dante couldn't fold his arms grumpily with the cast he had. "Can so!"
Several hours later, Kiera emerged from the back-alley room, coughing. "Bloody witches." Some smoke piled out of the room before Kiera pulled up her hood again and started running down the street. Her bag felt twice as heavy, now. You could have killed them all there. Easy. Kiera shook the thoughts from her mind, as she reached the square. Why don't you embrace me like you did in your childhood? We made the best pair, you and I. Until that brat came along. HE ruined everything. He ruined your life. Kiera was sick of this voice, now, and she had the choice of going back to the cabin or not. She didn't know.

*Shortstraw laughed and patted dontes head* "Hey everythings okay i'm sure. She just need to go away for a while i think. And to tel the truth i'm in a hurry myself. I finally relized what i can do to finally make myself worth having around in this world." he winked, "Maybe i can make you part of the new plan i have if your up to par. So don't get hurt and heal up okay. Then we can meet one day in our spechale spot and we can talk about it there. It will be a secrite that you can't tell your parents though. So don't let them know okay." he hugged donte, "stay strong little buddy. Soon we will have some time to relax and have an adventure i know it. ANyways we got to go!" he swooped up Asher and made his way out, "Be good..." he yelled quickly walking to the door. he then started to make his way quickly through the town, seemingly thinking as he he went headed to the cabin...*

Kiera spotted Shortstraw and Asher from around the building that led into the square. She hid around the corner, and watched him walk. If anyone were to be watching her right now, she'd have looked like a stalker. Asher sniffed the air, and looked in Kiera's direction, but she wasn't there any more. Instead she was scaling the tall wall and now jumping across the roofs of the buildings and the small alleyways that separated them. When she reached the blacksmith, she jumped down from the roof and slammed her back against the wall. "That was close." You're truly pathetic. See what he's made you? The blacksmith, Daniel, saw Kiera's arrival and went to greet her. "Back so soon? I thought you were going to give that item to your friend." Kiera was flustered. "Yeah. Just need some final touches now that I got it enchanted." He followed her into the blacksmith store.

*Shortstraw opened the door of the cabin and closed it as he smerked and stepped up stars quickly. He didn't even boths closing the door as he let asher hop onto the bed as he dove into his bag and pull out a series of maps and spred them all out. He then traced a finger to five locations and then circled where they were at now. He looked to Asher and smerked, "Asher you with me all the way right?" He smerked, and started writing some stuff down and numbering them.

Asher looked curiously to the maps. "Of course. All the way." She eyed the locations he was circling and looked confused. "What are you plotting, anyway?" He seemed determined, at least. That was more than she had seem of him the past day.
It was another few hours before Kiera finished the item. It was finally finished. She sighed in relief and leaned on the anvil. "That took longer than expected." Daniel laughed from the other anvil, crafting a sword. "You gotta put love and time into these things." Kiera stood up and stretched her back, picking up the item proudly. Daniel smiled at her. "I wish I had a son as strong as you." He looked sadly down to his work. Kiera put the item in her bag and looked to him, concerned. "What happened to him, anyway?" Daniel shrugged slightly, hitting the sword harder than before with the hammer. "Harriet dumped him somewhere. Called him weak and bony." Kiera winced and looked to the floor. "I'm sorry.." Daniel shrugged again, putting the sword back in the furnace. "Didn't know him long enough to care for him. So it doesn't bother me that much." Harriet called from the other room. "Dinner!" Daniel motioned towards the door. "You staying for dinner? You're welcome to if you want." Kiera fiddled her hands. "I dunno.."

*Shortstraw smerked and looked up to Asher* "I'm going to make Brotherhood of demon hunters. This way when somthing happens, we can call upon eachother for help. So never again will we be unable to do nothing becuse were out numbered or there is a enemy too strong. A brother hood of at least twelve members, each i will train to be a demon hunter under my area of expertease." He stood up, "Which makes you me stead again." he winked, "Now all we need is a spechal secrite hidout know one can find easily but somewhere possable to get two. We will start with this location, and if this goes well perhaps we can spred out the orginization to the other hunters i know. The DD are assembling so can we. And this time when someone of our is hurt, there will be some one if not all of us there to pick them up and protect them. if i ant powerful enough on my own, then i can lead others to become powerful in numbers." he seemed determained, "But one step at a time. I will need a day to asort the rules and guide lines the brotherhood will follow. And i would like you to find a good location to set up this brotherhood. Course you can take your time. Do so when your board." He chukkled and started to pet her looking to asher, "you have to give what you Recive. i get it know. thats Eves streigth. Thats how she leads so well. And when we were in that maze int he snowy dessert i felt like i mattered and was leading the others even though i wasn't. I belive i can pull this off."
