Roland was running out of waffle, he was sad about this, he pouted at his last waffle chunk before gobbling it down before looking at Jordan once more. "Dunf mentaion eet." He took a moment to wash the waffle down.
"Yeah... I used to think... I wanted Sylvia gone but, I realize I kinda miss it. Her being there just. Being annoying, the one friend I'd never really 'lose'..."

"We were told not to rely too much on our weapons, but I don't think anyone listened to that." Jordan finished off the water in his bottle. "I'm not sure it's possible to take that advice, not after you've gotten used to each other. Ferros and I were good with each other from the start, but it still took some adjusting ... " He trailed off, looked at the bag.
"I don't know how I lived without him, before," he mused. "It feels impossible that I could've been fine and not known there was a hole in my mind. I know I was okay, that I couldn't miss what I'd never known, but - " He shrugged helplessly. "I'm not whole."

Roland laughed, "No one told me that, c'mon man, Rep had pod duty, when I woke up. You know how he is bout weapons. He'd give the advice complete backwards of that. He did do that. He made it sound awesome. ANd for once he was actually kinda like right... even if Sylvia was loud and annoying at first weapons are awesome they are great." Finishing his own bottle he capped it and threw it... missing the can he was aiming for but turned back to Jordan frowning.
"You aren't... not whole. You are... we are kinda. Part of its just... asleep right now. Taking a nice long nap maybe?" He was trying to be positive for once, for Jordan. "You still got Harrison and Rep so... you're still pretty whole man."

Jordan laughed a little."Hell of a way to wake up," he said. "Yeah, I know. He and Tracey are close. This has been pretty rough on him too."
He smiled slightly at Ro's attempt at cheering him up. "I guess you're right. I don't know what I'd do without them. Probably mope around a lot more. Support system and all that."

"Ehhhh could be worse. He wasn't that bad really. He's uhh gotten a bit worse since... Tracey being gone don't help no."
Glancing around Roland got up to eventually get more bottles of water before he walked away he paused, "Hey hey, they help but without them." He moved getting two more bottles passing one to Jordan before wobbling and leaning on Jordan. "Ya still got me right man? And like Candace and stuff. You'd just be moaping at us instead of them right?"

"He's better about some things, worse about others. He's changed too," Jordan said thoughtfully.
"True enough," he conceded. "I do have friends, and I'm grateful."

"I can't really say I've only known him like what... two months?" He shrugged, "I don't agree with him all the time. But he's right. About weapons." He frowned, he was missing Sylvia's voice chiming in about Rep or Jordan, the sudden relization made him a bit moapy but he tried to push it aside.
"So it's settled, friends and stuff. Now." He opened his bottle of water holding it up, "To friends in a really shity place having a really shity time. And to Bix and Ceres."

"I don't agree with him all the time either," Jordan said dryly.
"To friends, present and past," he agreed, and held up his new bottle of water as well. "Whoever and wherever they might be."

For a moment Roland looked away in shame, he was sort of bad mouthing Rep to the one person who actually genuinely cared about him. Still he raised his bottle to Jordan's tipping them against one another before opening to drink slowly from it.
"Well... I think, I think I can make it back to my room. But you, you go and, go help Harrison and Rep right? They need you, more then I do man. Go on I'll be good."
With one last pat to the back Roland turned with his bottle and slowly stumbled his way away, waving goodbye over his shoulder.

"Next time you've got alcohol, eat something before you drink it. And let me know," Jordan said, and tapped the bottle against Ro's before drinking.
He lifted a hand to wave as Ro headed back towards his room. "Will do. Get some rest," he said, and stayed at the table, mulling over the conversation. He had things to think about.
