"You think so?" she said, tugging on her dinosaur monster costume. "Thanks!"

Kwasi had nearly high-fived the air beside him when he first saw the poster hanging in the school. They were letting students go through to the human world? To scare people? First year students? Alright, this was more like it!

"It's me, Gene. Your third best friend?" She changed her face back to the costume's, shaking her head and giggling. "I'm just committed to my costume, that's all."

Collecting FEAR wasn't something that Xiu got to do often--or at all, really--so the baku jumped at the chance to try her hand at FEAR gathering. While she sometimes had trouble being "scary" outside of the dream world--a world where she had, in part at least, some say in what happened--the ghoul figured that it would be good practice for her to give this a go.
It didn't take much convincing to get Xiu to sign up.

Erebus didn't really have a clue what Trick or Treating was.
Then again, he was painfully out of touch with things happening around Amityville in general. But FEAR gathering? That sounded interesting enough, and he figured that it was a step forward from burying himself in his room with books.

Sin was wary, very very wary because every time that a human world trip happened bad stuff followed. She was being pro-active though, after all she wanted to learn to scare better didn't she? A chance to really get out there like a real ToTer and learn about FEAR collection...how could she pass that up? She couldn't, so there she was filling out the form to sign herself up for the excursion.
As she finished with a flourish she eyed her last response, hmm maybe 100 was bit ambitious considering she had never scared a human being before. Still it couldn't be that hard...she narrowed her eyes and practiced a hopefully menacing face.

Fear gathering was one of those things that responsible adults have to do in order to fuel Halloween, and Victoria had signed up in order to feel like a responsible ghoul... Because that would make her a good ghoul, right? Besides, she knew that her Matron would surely be proud of her for undertaking such an important task!
She floated to the location, a smile on her lips; although it wasn't a school event or field trip, this would be her first scaring experience since her enrollment in Amityville! How exciting! Nearing the location, she stopped suddenly when she spotted a familiar figure, gasping as her eyes widened.
"Big bosom Hel!" She practically yelled, floating along at top speeds, straight into the reaper's ample bosom; her arms were wrapped around Hel's waist, and her head was resting on her chest as she hovered a few inches off the ground, "Hello, Torture and Suffering! And you too, Hel!"
A second later, she gasped again, letting go of Hel to float over to someone else, "Oh, Miss Sio! It is exciting to see you here too! Your hair is as long and lovely as al-"
Another gasp followed.
"Are you a real gangster, Sir?" Victoria was starting at Shun now, looking quite awestruck as she floated back towards Hel, "Matron told us that gangsters are bad people... Are you bad people?"

Junko didn't really think of herself as much of a trick or treater. It looked fun but it didn't really look like it was for her, you know? She'd be content with just a normal life without any special titles or things like that...though she'd be lying if this little venture didn't look terribly appealing. It had been awhile...she could still remember how the Fear from that human ghoul felt. It was pretty nice.
Oh, why not! It could be fun! And it seemed like the hardest part was picking a name. What could she call herself? Hair Raiser? It seemed someone had taken that. What else could she do for a name..this was hard! What could she call herself? There was that silly human story about Goldilocks she had read. Maybe something..about her hair? Like..Ebonilocks? Or her seamstressing? Or...or..
...Or she could take on The Mistress' name. She could be the Mistress now.
Oh it was genius!

Your costume: I've been branching out a lot lately in the wardrobe area but for a costume I will go back to my roots! Patterns, lace, ribbons and short fluffy skirts with high stockings and geta! A short kimono with long sleeves and a black, white and red pattern. A black skirt, white stockings, black and red geta, a black and red obi and finally I'll top it off with a large red and black bow! Why not, I don't do it very often. (LOOK FAMILIAR? 8D) How much Fear do you think you can collect: Um! As much as I can get! I did very well in that first trip Professor Q. B. took us on so I think I can bring you a lot!

There were a few people that would dress up like a giant lizard, Roch thought, but only one that had a flame coming out of their a**. He grinned and headed for his best friend, intent on giving her--and Gene? There was a good chance that was Gene, he knew a ghost when he sensed one, but he might be wrong.
"Yo, Trick or Treater Lizardbutt," Roch said as he got to Danny. "How y'gonna fit behind the curtains in that outfit of yours?"

Hel fished around her apron pockets until she pulled out a roll of tape. She pushed the stuffing back from whence it came, and then applied a wide and generous strip to the tear. She patted the monster then, grinning. “There! Hopefully that will hold!” She tucked the tape back into her apron, and then leaned, whispering to Bul. “Just stand in his blind spot, it is smoother that way, ya?” She then nudged him with her elbow cheerfully and looked over at Shun.
“Well, if you say so, friend!” She was about to say more on the matter…until she was bombarded by a little ghost ghoul. Hel blinked, pausing as she stared down at Victoria. She snorted, clearly amused at how she was addressed, and then patted the ghoul on the head. “Hello, Pint! Oh, you did sign yourself up, ya? Your name should be Trick or Treat Tiny.” She grinned a bit, and then laughed as she questioned Shun. “Woah there, little ghoul, who are you calling bad people? You are the one sneaking into others’ rooms through your mirror and marking them without permission! Shun does not go peeping like you do.”

Placing his hands in his pockets, Shun started to look around towards the others. It looked like Xiu was here as well, among a few other familiar faces. In part, he wondered if he should have tried to get Mitsu to come along, but... perhaps it would be better this way. She was leery of school related things at the moment and all. However, soon he realized there was someone coming up to him asking if he was a gangster and a 'bad people'.
For a moment or so he just stared hard at this ghost stranger, wondering who the hell she was and how he should respond. Hel might have been amused, but he was a little less so. It also sounded like she knew this kid.
"Yes, I am a horrible person," he said in a flat tone. Was he being sarcastic? It was really hard to say. And yes, he decided to handwave the first question.

Trick or Treating? Hell yes. Nahm liked the sound of that. He strolled in and scribbled down his information on the form, his grin ridiculously wide under his hood.

Thannas felt a little awkward doing this, all told, but it was the best way he knew to get involved. The Fae-Hound scrunched up his nose as he stared, the toes of his hind-paws tapping thoughtfully as he considered what his title ought to be. His gaze darted furtively over to the other students that were gathering. Oh! His good eye came a'light for a moment as he realized that it was that loud ghoul he'd met that one time, a rather long time ago. Tho she looked a touch taller.
Everyone was getting taller except Than. Frowning deeply at this revelation, he signed himself up. He was fairly sure that picking a Trick or Treat name wasn't going to be that much of an obstacle. Glumly he jotted down the name his nanny had always used for him. That would do. It was only a code name, right?
Didn't mean he couldn't scare up some FEAR with the best of 'em! >8[

Danny clapped at Gene's transformation. "You've gotten better at it!" she said, giggling. Nevermind that Danny couldn't even recognize the voice of a doppleganger when she'd grown up with one as a partial nanny.
"Roch!" Danny exclaimed, hand already around him in a hug. She looked down at her outfit, seeing no problems with it. "No no, Trick or Treater Godzilla," she corrected. He must've just read her form wrong! Obviously!
Her hand went to her chin as he posed his question. It was a good question actually, something she hadn't thought about. Well it wouldn't be very easy to hide as a nearly 6 foot tall ghoul with a flaming tail anyways. "I dunno. I guess I'll figure it out!" She looked him up and down, a little confused. "What are you supposed to be?"

The little group was quick to expand and for a while Belladonna was quick to hang back and hide in her hood. Quickly she grew bored of this, of not interacting It was lonely and there really was no reason why she shouldn't. Thankfully there were a variety of friendly faces to speak to, but the closest one to the witch currently was Sin. And she was so kind, and they'd bonded over ghoul thing, so Belladonna quietly snaked her way over. "Hi Sin, you look lovely tonight." Belladonna tried, uncertain how else to begin. Damn her sudden uncertainty! It was making normal life far too difficult for her liking. Thankfully, a love of all things dealing with clothing could not be diminished so when the witch caught sight of Junko, an arm shot up to wave at the ghoul. "Ah! Junko! You look darling! That dress is magnificent! You'll have to outfit me with one sometime!" It had been a while since she'd seen the futakachionna, so she'd forgotten how adorable she looked. It was enough to almost make Belladonna sparkle over her, but she restrained herself. Mostly because it took energy to kirakira and she wanted to save all that for Trick or Treating.
